Very cute, with beautiful messaging. I really enjoy the habit tracker function as well. You can not only set up daily tasks but also tasks monthly, biweekly, etc. There are alot of additional features that range from journalling to assisting with panic attacks. I also greatly enjoy the friendship function where I can send my bird off to give them affirmations and complimemts.

Really awesome app that keeps me motivated in doing my tasks as a chronically ill patient; even getting out of the bed and getting a shower is a chore! With this little guy I can get more done in the day and feel good about accomplishing it. I also really like the writing prompts as I work with a therapist in CBT, journals have become very important but, sometimes I just wanna type not write! I also really like being able to play with friends so we can work on getting better together!

I love this cute little app. I don't know if it's the apps doing or just me but I've been doing much better lately. little things can help, you can rant all you want or keep it simple. There's paywall options, but you can buy cute accessories with the free gems it gives you. Not as many goals(to-do list things) and activities on the free version, but you can write in any goals you want. Maybe there could be a way to change your pet to a different animal, not a criticism just thoughts.

This app has revolutionized the way I get things done. I have poor executive function, and need to-do lists to get anything going, let alone finish it, but regular pen and paper ones are easy to lose and I get overwhelmed by the list of tasks without rewards to motivate me. Finch still helps me make lists and organize what I'm supposed to be doing, but it also gives me a little dopamine hit for every task I've completed. Me and my finch, Lilac have been going strong for the past 43 days!

This is hands down one of my favorite apps...if I could become a brand ambassador I would in a heartbeat! I was really skeptical in the beginning...it's cute but it didn't really seem like my thing. I tried Habitica before and just couldn't get into it. Finch is great and quickly becomes addictive. I love the little monthly themed challenges, the sound that plays when I crush my daily goals, the soundscapes. This app offers so much in just their free version. I can't recommend it enough!!

I've tried a lot of self care themed apps and most of them are very gimmicky and i lose interest fast. This app is almost addictive, which is great for an app like this. Ive got my mom and sister both using it and i love that we can send messages to each other. Having the micropets be goal based is especially good. There is barely any pressure at all to use the premium version and theres not much difference. Only complaint is the widget takes a while to update itself

After reading some of the reviews I decided to download Finch. I can whole heartedly say I am obsessed. I genuinely feel like it's helping me prioritize self-care and I love the concept. It's hard taking care of ourselves in general but to have the guidance through all these awesome free self-care prompts, goals etc that you can choose. As we age we sometimes forget our playful nature this app will help you become more self-aware and set good habits but it will also invoke your playful spirit. :)

Fun, unique way to help stay on top of life goals. Very encouraging app to get through those tough days, and helpful in reflecting on life; good self care aid. I'm sure it'd be great for kids, but as an adult I find it helpful and fun as I progress and heal/recover. The free version is enough for me to recommend using it, but the plus adds in extra features to help progress even more; if able, give that a try for a month.

I think this is a great way to help with an organized daily schedule and a great thing to have on tough days. No ads. The fact that there is a in game currency for oufits and furniture makes it even better. You also make stronger bonds with your bird, too! The adventures are one of my favorite parts, along with the shiny diamonds. It gives you a reason to do your goals. I Do recommend. 😀

This app is actually brilliant. Promotes healthy habits, self care, productivity, goal oriented tasks, meditation, reflection, exercise, YOU NAME IT. And its free! The pets are adorable, and the concept of growing together is so cool. It logs everything, giving you insights on your mood trends over the course of days/weeks/months. You can set task goals to be linked to your pet or micropet so that it grows every time you complete the task. I'll say it 1 more time, this app is awesome!!

This app (even just the free version) has helped me turn self care activities that used to be difficult into habits. It didn't do it FOR me. It was still work. It is a fantastic, motivating tool for me. I am grateful to everyone involved in the creation, improvement, and maintenance of this app. It's been a part of me turning over a new leaf in my life. EDIT: I still use this app one year later and, by consistently raising the difficulty of my goals, I am continuing to grow.

I've tried several similar apps, but none I can stick with. I have ADHD, can't remember anything, and have trouble finishing tasks. This app makes me WANT to get all my tasks done so I can watch my baby grow. It's fun, interactive as heck, and feeds that part of my brain that needs recognition. I'm so jazzed!

Been using Finch for just over a month, and I absolutely love it! It's like a Tamagatchi, but in order to take care of your pet, you have to take care of yourself! I love the journaling feature, the encouragement from my little bird, the customization you can do to your bird helps keep it fun, and there's no 'pay to win' or condescending language. It's gently positive without making you feel bad if you don't do everything you planned, and the widget is cute and helps me remember! 12/10 app!!!

A super helpful task tracker that helps to motivate and reward you for any goal. Its great to care for a little bird and see its personality grow, and Finch has resources to help when days are hard like breathing exercises or back ground noise. I use this daily without having to remind myself to do it. Plus the customization options are plenty and adorable

I have one of those mindsets where I can't do something for myself unless I'm getting some kind of reward, and the result of the action itself doesn't count. This app helps a lot with that. While it isn't much, the simple points/stars you get for accomplishing a task is motivating since I get to know that my little finch explores. At first I thought it was silly, but I really got to care for him, and was motivated to get to see what he discovered next. This app is simple and effective!

A great app that makes self-care and habit tracking a rewarding and fun activity. What I love most about it is that it's stress free and you have control over every feature. It doesn't pester you to turn on notifications or keep a streak like other apps. Both can be very stressful and make you disappointed in your progress if you're a perfectionist and unable to keep a streak because of health problems. It is completely your choice if you want to use these features or not.

5 stars now to 4. Added the streak keeper with the sun. I hate streak scores because that gives me more pressure to check it, which makes me NOT want to check it 😐 I thought the seasonal theme gifts were technically a streak keeper already. I understand that everyone is different, and if it helps someone else, that's great! Took my gems even though the first time was supposed to be free. If there is a way to turn of the streak score, I need the solution now.

helpful when survival mode isn't in full swing. It's a sweet distraction from anxiety, with techniques that are widely used for mental health de-escalation. the plus version gives a bit more, but it's so helpful without it. I cannot afford another subscription, but I have enjoyed trying the plus out. the soundscapes (thunderstorms) that help me most are only available with plus, but that's okay- I'll always find a way to work around it. I would have given a full 5 stars, but subscription.

This app really helped me a lot, with a lot of things. For example, you can set up goals for the day, and completing all the goals gives you extra points to buy stuff for the cute little bird! There are fun activities you can do with the little bird, WHICH IS SO CUTE! There is also a first aid kit that contains breathing exercises and much more for depression, anger, anxiety, and a lot more! ALSO, NO ADS! Would DEFINITELY recommend this app!

I've tried a lot of habit building tracker apps, but none stuck until Finch. It's like having a little tamagachi pet you care for by building good habits. There's no guilt trip if you miss a day or skip a task, it's extremely easy to add and schedule tasks (eg: take the trash out each week on garbage night), and there isn't a ton of pressure to pay to play. It's a very solid app and I'd highly recommend it.
