It is what it is. Pay to play will crush everyone, but the game is still very playable for freeloaders if you spend just 4.99 to get a 2nd queue. Great graphics, fewer bugs than prior iterations and a responsive dev crew.

Please do not download this game! I've been playing for a year now. For the past 6 months, the developer stopped the updates in our realm, so we're stuck with repeats of old events! The worst part of this whole thing is that when you try to ask game support for advice or future game developments, they ignore you. To the people who think this game is fun at the moment, that's because you are in the newer realms, but remember soon enough you'll be just like us..... ignored by the developer.

Well game is going to the birds I guess devs have changed up things to where you collect rewards and then spawn them into game and can't find them anywhere on the map. Thanks Devs you did a great job there. NOT!!! Why did you have to change it up in first place? You didn't so put it back cuz I and most likely many others don't like being shown goods you work for and get them taken away . So yes my opinion of game keeps dropping stars each time I'm asked for review. From 5 to a 2 now

Love this iteration of Final Fantasy after playing FF:XIV for years. While the game can be imbalanced (10,000 T10 troops can decimate 250,000 T9 troops, so lower ranking cities never stand a chance against pay-to-play folks), overall the graphics are beautiful, the story is interesting (very LOTR-ish), and devs are generous with prizes to keep progress moving forward easily, even if you don't spend. Take advantage of daily quests and special events, and find a helpful guild. You'll have fun.

I played the other ffxv for 10 years and by the daylight recognised nobody as developers basically were forcing players to buy items or never get them so they were all gone in the end.this is boring we need realm boss and mp to hit for rewards, people will spend anyway but if their friends leave they do. Spenders will spend but non spenders should be aloud to be competitive and all items needed be able to be earned, the spenders yes should get these first but the wait time is what ruins the game.

It is expensive and difficult to grow but easy to be zeroed. DO NOT PLAY THIS TERRIBLE GAME. MZ HAS IT RIGGED!!!Main events glitch, such as Realm versus Realm events. Glitches always occur during important events and the game magically starts working fine when one Realm finally can no longer win. One Realm has won everytime while the other one has lost everytime. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We have also not had any update in 6 months!

I've been playing the game for over a year and at first it was fun, but now it's getting boring. There aren't really any new events, just recycled battle pass events that are the same as last year, with recycled prizes. The realm I'm In is dying and there's no sign of RVR anytime soon. There's really no reason for me to keep playing the game, and because of the issues that are making the game boring for me, I can't really recommend it.

Help and support is a challenge to even contact, plus when you do eventually contact them they don't believe you. When you do eventually prove that where was a issue with game play the correction is a small gifts to your inbox that don't even compare to the setback in the game. Example: a dollar for a 1,000 dollar issue. I beginning to wonder if they even play the game to help debug it. Barrier system is broken and people that buy stuff are too overwhelming powerful.

This game is replacing FFXV:ANE which is a highly addictive moneytrap. For the entire time I played, the deliberately rude sales staff would shortchange, overcharge, and deliberately mess up my purchases, while making it impossible to get ahead without spending $500 a week. The game had gotten so huge, with war marches numbering in the thousands of trillions range, that it is being phased out and replaced with this one. The development team will continue to lie and cheat to steal your money.

This game is even worse than the older version. There's so many issues and it's mainly for spenders so if you don't spend your playing for the benefit of spenders. The cost for barriers is ridiculous and the longest one is 8 hrs so once your barrier is down you're attacked and lose days worth of resource gathering. Notifications don't work so if you're attacked you won't be notified. I've was attacked while in game doing upgrades and was never notified that I was hit 4 times, lost all resources

It was ok. I pre-registered for the game excited since I've always been fan of the Final Fantasy series. It seemed pretty relatable to similar games. There really isn't much to do once you get to a certain early level in the game. I don't know if there's a way in my part or its just a glitch, but once I reclaim my city... it's still constantly smoking and I can't seem to collect certain things

Great if you like interactive screensavers. I only played to begin with to help someone who was sponsored by it. It's just like all the other freemium city builder junk mobile games but with extra UI all over it in case you didn't want to see what's actually going on. The tip prompts are particularly annoying and the story is just...

Not The Best. This game is designed to make you spend to be any kind of competitive. The fact that you have have to pay abnormally high prices to get shields is terrible. Starting out you need access to shields to help in the process of growing. They are out of reach of the none spender and hard to come by for minimal spenders. This game is set up for pay to play for sure. They final fantasy feel will only go so far before it becomes a wallet buster.

This game is the most bug infested game I have ever played. The devs are absolutely clueless to any actual issue. I played ANE from release until this came out and downloading this was a mistake. Machine zone completely ruined the final fantasy xv title with ane and eos. I'd give negative stars if possible. Quitting was the best thing I ever did as far as gaming is concerned and I'll never play another machine zone game. Play at your own risk.

The UI is terrible, and the game is buggy. The monetization isn't the worst I've seen but the f2p grind would be quite slow. Definitely pay to win. Pop up notifications did get better, but they still prevent touches across the screen. Update: after a few more months and way too much money, the lack of bug fixes is just intolerable. Having to restart your game 70+ times in a couple of hours because of the ongoing troop training bug is not fun.

Has potential. But unfortunately there are many things that need to be cleaned up. The user interface when roaming the base needs to be substantially improved. So much clutter trying to sell their "loot chests" which only gets worse when the notifications come blocking the top 25% of the screen. For the love of god give us control to turn the obnoxious in game pop ups on/off. Still lots of bugs also. Give it a year, I would say maybe by then the game be worth it.

This is a shame to the once great Final Fantasy series. While using elements of games in the series, it is nothing more than a pay to win build game many others. The battles are largely automated with no strategy. Out of battle, the player is building a city. As usual in this type of game, the build times start short but quickly increase, enticing the player to buy time reducing items with real money.

Almost unplayable. Every few minutes I will have to restart the game just to see what I have completed because it doesn't show in game unless I do. This doesn't count the number of times it has crashed for seemingly no reason. Or when I purchase something using the in game currency and it doesn't give me the item. It also has looped the same campaign level multiple times instead of progressing after I've beaten a level. There are just so many issues. I want to like it, but really don't.

There's too many issues. Sometimes when something is upgraded, it doesn't show until you close the game and reboot it. Chatting is very annoying because after a few messages, it lags very heavy. In order to fix that, you have to reboot the game. A few messages....repeat over and over. It pisses me off. I didn't play the other games but people in the guild say there's better features. I can't say anything about that. Have to restart the game to fix things is the main issue, it's very annoying.

It starts out easy enough, but hits a ridiculous difficulty spike in chapter 3 (think being level 80 and have level 60 enemies mop the floor with you) . It very much becomes a pay to win at that point. You can only upgrade one thing at a time unless you pay $5 to upgrade two things at a time. I really wanted to like this, but I'm just disappointed.
