The game itself it's very well done just what you'd expect from Square Enix, the graphics are good as well as level design, the story is a nice approach to Noctis's life. I'm saving for FFXV pc which comes soon so this will have to wait. Now, the screen sometimes turns off while waiting and it takes too long to load and the gameplay doesn't work like it should everytime specially in the stealth jumps. Edit: IMHO after all this time it keeps being too expensive for a mobile game.

Overall this game is very well made with stunning graphics. But there are also some issues with the game. 1. Game doesn't support controller input 2. Joystick and button configuration option would've made the game even better 3. And the most important issue is that it is unable to load the 2'nd chap after i finished the 1st chap, I updated the game hoping this bug is fixed but still it isnt. I tried "restore purchase""download all chapters", but nothing seems to work. Please fix this issues asap

I'm a bit skeptical about the graphic at first, but this game turned out absolutely beautiful! For you that doesn't have high-end PC/Console this is the version for you. The length is ofc way less that the original. This version is straight forward, you can walk around but the game takes you to quest places rather quickly. So if you're the type that like to roam about 24/7 you might not enjoy it though.

cant get past the beginning section of chapter 3. regalia always steers into sides of the road itself both on auto drive and manual (specially if i control it, which make it take sharp turns into sides of the road too). and this isnt the bad part, the bad part is after awhile (about 10-15 seconds of driving, during the phone rimgimg) it goes to a side and get floating in the air and unable to move again. tried multiple times, updated the game, updated my android to the latest version (happened both on android 9 and now android 10). tried changing resolution and graphics too.

this is a perfect example of a great game with maximum potential falling short. playing the first chapter reminded me why I loved ffxv as soon as I saw the remaining were 20$ I quickly jumped at the chance. this is where I lose faith in square enix not only could i not purchase it because they cannot figure out their servers but when i contacted them i get no response. anyone who would want to play this and buy it shouldn't because it just enables them to keep messing greatness up.

The first free chapter was really good. So much so that I bought the package deal with all chapters. The reason only one star is because now when I start the game it crashes right after showing the Square Soft logo. Maybe one start out of 20 actually works and plays the game. This is really not cool. I really want to get a refund. Please do not buy this game! It's not worth the frustration since it crashes so much!

Good game, but it'd be nice to see better compatibility, and a movement joystick option. My main problem was it force restarting my phone. It runs very smoothly so I dont see it as a hardware issue. Just seems like game doesnt like my phone.(It's battery is not removeable so thats the phones way to avoid freezing.)

Really great game, i would put money into but, it keeps crashing alot. I always have to download and re-download to stop the crashing...(which is annoying so i gave up on playing it) If you would fix the crashing then i 2ould put the review with more stars but pther than the crashes its a very interesting game. Has all the voices from the video game and very great graphics for a pocket edition.

For $20, it should be playable. I have repeatedly uninstalled and installed this game in order to play it, after backing up my save from the cloud. If I close the game at all, it will crash on opening. I can't continue the game at chapter 5 because it won't load. It freezes. Upon completing the chapters, there's no indication that the game is loading the next chapter. This is disappointing. I know I'm not the only review stating these things.

Overall great game and good mobile interpretation of FFXV. Had to drop a star (almost want to drop 2) for lack of new game+. You can only get the final Royal Arms after you beat the story which makes it pointless to do without a new game+. This was a very disappointing find after beating the story that I didn't even bother getting the final Royal Arms. Still worth buying/playing but just keep that in mind. To neg. comments, I played/ installed on a low end LG with no problem. Install on WiFi.

This took an expansive open world game and reduced it to a poorly modeled, linear series of unchallenging encounters separating LOTS of text. There is no sense of exploration, challenge, or even fun. The only redeeming quality is seeing the story played out, but even then it would be a better use of time to just watch the real thing on YouTube.

It's great. Sure, it costs $20 for all the chapters, but I think it is worth it. The combat is solid if a bit mindless at points, the music is fantastic, and the voice acting in cut scenes sounds great. I don't mind the graphics, but the lack of lip movement to go with the voices is distracting. Still, this is a solid mobile RPG, and I like how the first chapter is free so people can try it and see if it is right for them.

I was actually loving the game until recently, and even paid to download all the chapters. Unfortunately, in Chapter 5, the game glitches and I cannot progress. I am currently unable to knock out Caligo because the control won't recognize that I'm tapping. Glitches like this have been happening throughout the entire game, but reloading a chapter usually fixes the issues. Not so in this one. I have now restarted, uninstalled, force quit, changed my phone settings, and STILL cannot advance.

(Device: Pixel 6) What most surprised me about this is that it is a shot for shot, word for word recreation of the full console game. All the voice acting, most of the side quests, the random dialogues, everything. The difference is in the graphics (obviously) and the mechanics. However, the mechanics are actually better than console because they express the uniqueness more effectively without getting bogged down in menus and button mapping. This is a better version of the AAA console game.

This game is adorable and amazing, a few bugs such as your opponents being pushed out of the "safe zone" or area where you fight them, so you have to restart the game in order to fix it, other bugs include hit box regristration with the counter attack button which doesnt register straight away, and finally, when you warp up to certian areas, it has a chance of you not being able to get back down without restarting the game. Overall this game is really good and runs perfectly on my galaxy j2!

I love FF 15 and once i saw this, it was like a dream come true. Its really good, i mean REALLY good but the one and only thing i dont like is that you have to TAP the screen to move. I figured there would be an option to switch controls to a virtual joystick or touchpad but nope. That really bothers me when it comes to a game like this. If an option becomes available that allows for an option to play with a joystick or touchpad, then ill rate 5 stars.

The first chapter is completely free, the rest is paid for only. The game doesn't constantly nag the players to purchase the next chapters which I liked. The game skips around the main plot of FF XV,not bothering to adapt every single scene. The animation style during battle is cool and the characters' design are cute. The game runs smoothly for the most part without constant interference and freezing. However during certain abilities such as "wrap kill" the game starts to lag.

BACK UP SAVES TO CLOUD This is a fun, cute, condensed version of FFXV. It would be 5 stars except for the fact that there is an ongoing bug affecting many people (scroll through these reviews to see them), that causes the app to be unable to start. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixed this for me, but will wipe your save data. If you have synced your data to the cloud, you can restore it. You have to open the app to sync saves, so once the app has glitched, it is too late. Save often.

Great graphics but the movement controls are terrible. You end up running your finger all over the screen or you constantly have to keep tapping just to move. It really takes away from the rest of the game. Not much of an auto attack fan either. Its what's ruined a lot of the FF games. Plus its $20 if you want the whole game, or you can buy it by chapter. It would be worth purchasing, but not for that price. Especially with how bad the controls are.

The game play and controls are top notch as well as the story being good too... Well... At least chapter one was good. The first chapter is essentially a tutorial and ends on a cliffhanger before you hit a paywall in order to continue on to chapter 2. If you're looking for a F2P quality FF experience don't look here as the game is going to cost you at least $20 to finish. It's a great game don't get me wrong. But dissapointed that they locked everything past the tutorial behind IAP'S. Not even constant ones at that. In order to play chapters 7-20 you have to pay $4 per chapter. 1-6 are 99 cents. Not cool SE not cool.
