Played this game at launch with no issues, and played for about 3 months then quit because I needed a break. Came back for half anniversary and can't even get into the game. Keep getting an "Unable to connect" message, tapping retry does nothing and it eventually just blacks out. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same thing. Tried clearing cacha, nothing. Finally gave up and uninstalled it for good.

Look I'm a big fan of final fantasy. The game is phenomenal story wise. I can't say much about the gotcha function... I did the tutorial draw 4 legendaries...did 3 to 4 story missions. Then got off the game....Came back in about a minute or so...just to see my progress is all gone and I got none of my legendars. I instantly uninstalled the game cuz I'm not trying to get far just to lose all my progress... For that matter if I was to use money it would have been more of a waste than what it is.

The game crashes occasionally but not as often as it use to, there should be an iron to make inventory space, I can't collect gifts from the holiday event because the gift box is full of stamina items that take up all of my inventory space, and I can't collect anything without doing constant battles in turn earning more stamina recovery a bit annoying. I do love the game though.

Way too "busy". I don't like the camera angles for the fight sequence. So many options, and events and ads and thingies and, I just want a Chocobo and play FF7. The main FF7 gets stuck at the flower church part where you fight the Shinra Turks. I've completed it multiple times, but it still won't progress any further. Poor remake. UPDATE 5/7/2024: gave it another go but the game interface is too distracting and cluttered. You spend more time tapping the menus than playing.

I wanted this to be good so bad. It is a bit hard to figure out the UI, obviously micro transactions that are really dumb and not worth the money at all. Each piece of story is maybe 2 minutes and the battles are either too easy or they are purposely too hard to get you to spend money to progress the story. Even when the beats are good it constantly stops the story and pulls you back to the main menu to pick the next mission and continue the story

Unfortunately for the developers, I tried installing the game twice, only to encounter Network Errors in connecting to the servers. One of the worst things a new player can experience with any online game, is not being able to connect to it... especially if they are eager to play it. The game looks truly compelling. As a long-term Final Fantasy fan, I'm disappointed at not being able to play this one. If I can actually play the game, the rating could go up.

This game is almost perfect the prevalent issue I have as an android user is that it tends to overheat my phone and for some odd reason it keeps having a crash issue that will come up from time to time but the gameplay, graphics, story, etc. is phenomenal just wish it was more giving when it came to the in game currency of blue crystals but admittedly it does become a bit grindy but once you've put in some time n effort into it the game shines like a diamond

Network issues after update After updating to the new yufffie update, I keep getting network connection issues starting the game. Already force quit the app, cleared the cache, restarted the phone. Last time this happened I deleted the game and then all progress was lost and I refuse to lose my 3 max level team, all my 5* weapons and more again. Once is a slip up, but now it's every other major update.

It's a mindless auto-fighter mobile gacha, so naturally the monetization is shoved down your throat after completing even the simplest of tasks. Even then, it's not worth the money; the "season" pass contains only 30 tiers or levels, can be completed in less than a week. The final reward when reaching the end is usually a useless animated wallpaper. The only real control you truly have is building a team via gear. Aside from that, the FS story is interesting, just wish it weren't a mobile game.

Game keeps crashing.. I love it when it lets me play but sometimes I can't even finish a battle without it crashing multiple times after restarting it.. I'll give it the 5 stars I previously had when the issue is resolved.. I shouldn't have to adjust the samsung s24 ultra settings to low on the graphics just to play the game a little longer..

I like the game. It does lay slow a bit but it is a game that isn't hard pressed for time. If u miss something it will be back around eventually. This is a game for casual gamers and has a neat little story with sephiroth. The co op can take some time to match up sometimes, but I have also found that mostly once u r in a group even if it's not with the same players it's easier to replay the fight and the teams seem to fill up faster and more consistently.

Was decent when it didn't crash. I was able to look past the gatcha system and all the money grab factors but now the game doesn't even work. It was entertaining as somthing to do for say a slow day at work. Now that it gets stuck saying the game can't connect I'll probably never touch it again as I'm missing limited time stuff, was fun while it lasted.

Haven't even played game yet so I really don't know how many stars it may actually deserve, but given what I hope it is I'm giving it one extra star from what's required! All I do is get network error from start screen. When I press retry nothing happens! Total bs, love ff7 and everything having to do with it! Hope its just a bug and gets fixed quickly, I'm dying to play and give a real review!

The most frustrating part of this game are the many milestones requiring co-op play (online multiplayer) but the co-op system is not simple, takes 1 full minute to search for a party every time, and often fails 5 times in a row before I give up. If they at least had a generic NPC load into the co-op to make it playable when no other users are available, that would be great. Otherwise the game is cool. It's a slow grind to slowly build your battle power to slowly advance to more difficult stages.

Unplayable. Just gives me a popup box saying "Unable to connect" and it does nothing when I hit retry. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, restarted my phone, ect. And it refuses to work. Most games download additional data after you install them, I can't even get to that part. Made sure I had plenty of space on my phone and everything. Very disappointing.

It's OK but its hard to get into it for these reasons: Touch screen UI is too clunky for my tastes. The micro transactions are too expensive. Not enough characters. The story is only interesting if you're unfamiliar with FF7 as a whole. If you've already been playing FF games since the 90s, chances are high there's nothing new to gleen from this game.

Installed on multiple devices, and when i tried to link them all to one account the first one i linked uploaded save data that was from the begining of the game. The issue is that the other devices where i was further into the game, would not update save progress to the cloud because the account was linked to the device where i hadnt started the game. So linking devices does not work. it doesnt have the ability to ask if you would like to overwrite cloud saves.

***EDIT: Drop rates are unreliable and "common" drops are not guaranteed. The pay-to-win scheme is aggressive and traps event required meta behind pay walls. Overall a fun game - especially for nostalgia - if you are able to get past the issues mentioned above. Regularly updates content (pro and con). UI and graphics are exceptional.

ye typical gatcha game, fluffed as FF7. Plays out the story in segments and the combat looks and performs nicely for a mobile game, so it has that going for it at the very least. Probably more worth it to play the official one via the android port or an emulator. A thing to note though is that I actually feel depressed trying to play this due to how the main menu UI is set up, I'm not sure what it is exactly, but man, I haven't felt like this dealing with other UIs before, it's weird...

Over all a decent game, i enjoy the storylines being brought together with some added story about sephiroths "youth." You dont have to spend money, but it speeds up progression, too much if you ask me. I play mostly passively. Due to a recent update where you can't play your own music in the background while you play, i have toned back how much i have been playing somewhat. I would encourage SqEn to fix this as it's very annoying. Should be a 4/5 stars, but Lost 2 cuz of music bug/issue.
