Looks great. Presentation is even better. Just a nitpick - I'd like to see an option to remove the remastered sounds and BGM and use the original Super Famicom tracks. Gilgamesh's theme just doesn't cut it here.

Excellent. My only other experience with this game was on the PlayStation 3's PS Store version. This is far superior. Super vivid and plays fine. My only complaint is the joystick to move, but at least they give you another option.

I wanted to play this game so bad!!! I ran into freezing issues right out of the box. Five minutes in and had to start over. Got just past where I was and it froze again. We are talking less than ten minutes in. So I did a refund. I wanted to play this game so bad so I repurchased and decided to give another try. This time it froze like four minutes in. I got frustrated again, asked for refund and was told developer refuses refunds. Be carefull if you buy! I wanted this really bad! Disappointed!

It's very frustrating that controllers don't seem to work with this version. It makes using items, using magic or anything other than regular attack hard when in and out of battle. Very disappointing I have to say this is NOTHING like the original the graphics look more like a rip off version much like the mini consoles that claim to have classic Nes and Snes games installed on them you buy from the stores.

Having a blast returning to this title. The game looks great, I like the auto-battle feature. The only thing that I can complain about is a glitch where the battle pauses and never restarts. Other than that, I love this game, and def worth every penny.

Overall very good port/remake. However there is a very specific bug that occurs when fighting Exdeath in the void. You can't target your allies with spells or items, for some reason they just target Exdeath. The only way around it is to tap the individual character instead of using the battle menu. Seems to only affect his first form too. Weird and annoying. Willing to change this to 4/5 star when the bug is fixed.

Works perfectly for my Samsung A71 5G with Android 11 OS. Saves work and tabbing out does not affect the game upon returning. No lag, no freezing whatsoever. I'm able to mobile stream this game to Twitch with no issues. I've intentionally tried to freeze or lock up this game and it continued to function optimally. WARNING: This game is NOT compatible for any device using Android 10. However, DOES work for Android 9 devices, oddly enough. Unfortunate for Android 10 users. Great game. My fav FF!

Took some time to get used to touch controls gamepad support would be appreciated, but after 10hrs got used to touch controls. The best FF from the first 5. Very much enjoying mastering jobs for each and every character and mixing abilities from different jobs.

Enjoyable like the classic with remastered ost as well! It's a wonderful remaster. There are a few bugs that do need to be fixed however. Like it's impossible to grab the black chocobo without using tap. Also if you use return on neo exdeath it literally breaks final boss. Other than that it's a really good remaster.

This is the most beautiful thing square enix has ever done. it is a Flawless remake of my favorite Final Fantasy game of all time. Im so happy to finally see a remake of a classic be done right. Its not some 3d chibi work, it is done so phenomenally, the attention to detail is spot-on. Thank you, square enix for letting me relive my childhood memories with my favorite rpg of all time. But this time i get to relive it while drooling over the gorgeous pixel 2D animation.

hundreds of attempts at using both steal and mug in exdeaths castle on many different monsters and not a single time did either skill work. Google tells me it's a 40% chance so this is statistically impossible. Once this bug is looked at and fixed I will give the game the 5 star rating it deserves

Almost as good as the first 4 remasters, but there's a few issues particularly with this one. For one, there's NO way to sprint when you have that unlocked. Two, you still can't use hidden passages with the grid movement Options. Third, you flat out can't catch the black chocobo with the joystick controls. I tried for 15 minutes you can't talk to the chocobo. I had to switch to the grid option and got him within seconds.

I love playing it; but I've got a problem. I'm unsure if it's my phone or just the game. But it constantly crashes. And I've gotten to after the merged world just before the airship, going through the cutscene and it always crashes at the same place, after Bartz town gets swallowed. Whenever it crashed before I'd reload and it would go fine. It cannot get past this part; but it varies. I uploaded chrome and certain apps and got past it but then it continued crashing. Please tell me of a fix

Not only one of the best entries in the series, but one of the most fun JRPGs I've ever played. On top of that they really nailed it with this remaster. The sound track arrangements in this version alone are worth the price you pay. The story and chaeacters are fun throughout; the job system is on point with no job being useless; the soundtrack is superb. And now it's all readily available in a competent form. I could not recommend this game enough.

Still a great play through, one of the more unique FF's with the job class system allowing you to step out of the more traditional party roots and experiment. The story is all right overall, you'd mostly play this for the gameplay but it has it's moments that shine and the main antagonist is something else. Shame the PR's missed the GBA content which is my only complaint.

Awesome port of a classic. The game looks and plays great. The updated music is a perfect homage to the original. My only complaints are that the extra GBA dungeon isn't present and the tap to move feature can path weirdly at times. Worth the money if you want nostalgia or to try the solid classic JRPG for the first time.

I just finished beating the game on mobile. I was a bit sad that I couldn't access the post dungeon and get the optional classes. The targeting is a little difficult at times. I took the last star off solely bc of how much it costs... but you don't get the post game content. It would also be cool if we were gonna pay that much, that we could play the Advance edition that has the graphical updates and post game and such. Still a good game. Midly disappointed.

game looks and sounds amazing. totally would recommend to friends once keyboard control is added. even bluetooth mouse would work but my bt5.0 mouse isn't responding even with the tap mode. i find this is an issue with more titles in the square library and not just this game though. FF5, FF8 Remastered, and Trials of Mana are a few that come to mind where the bluetooth mouse and keyboard don't get a response. Edit: ok it's been about a year since I last played. Game froze on me in Battle. Lol

I love this game. In my top 5 FF games of all time so I recently decided to get it, but it seems to crash randomly pretty often. My FFIV remake works just fine, but this one seems to be giving me issues. I'm not sure if it's my phone or not so I'm gonna do so troubleshooting and edit this post, but until I can figure it out, I can only give 4stars :(

One of the best FF games, period. Love the job system, and the characters are great, too. The remastered soundtrack is beautiful. Works great on Android with autosave/quicksave features so you can jump in and out without an issue. A recent update brought the features that the pixel remaster was missing from the console/PC versions, so you can now increase experience or turn random encounters off as needed.
