**************************************************
When darkness falls and the land is robbed of light, four youths are chosen by the crystals to embark upon a journey to save the world.

FINAL FANTASY III was the first title in the FINAL FANTASY series to become a million-seller, establishing once and for all that Square Enix's classic RPG saga was here to stay.

A hallmark of innovation for the entire series, FINAL FANTASY III incorporates not only a job system that lets characters change classes at any time to the ability to summon powerful creatures such as Shiva and Bahamut.

The 3D remake of FINAL FANTASY III, with fully-rendered 3D graphics, duplicated the original's success.

- The four protagonists have been completely redesigned and new scenarios have been added.

- The 3D remake has really brought the cutscenes and battles to life.

- The Job system has been improved to bring out its best and most unique aspects, resulting in a more balanced game that is easy to enjoy.

- New save functions, including autosave, allow for players to quit the game at any time without fear of losing their progress.

--------------------------------------------
Aditionally, the smartphone version has been improved to include the following:

- High resolution graphics and retouched cutscenes.

- Smooth, intuitive touch-panel controls specifically tailored to improve the gaming experience.

- Gallery Mode, where players can view illustrations from the game or listen to the soundtrack, has been added.

- New visual designs for the Job Mastery Cards and the Mognet.

Literally one of the worst games I've ever played. If you want an old style rpg then Ara Fell is way better (not sure if it's on Android though). If you took away the Final Fantasy name and put a different title on this, then no one would give it a second look Quite simply for nostalgia heads only. I'm from slightly before the NES era, so old style games don't bother me. Terrible gameplay design choices misleading you constantly in to one hit deaths and back to the start screen is dumb.

Today I finished the game. The storyline is amazing because there are varieties of puzzles and enemies to defeat. The soundtracks are a masterpiece to listen to. I highly recommend playing this game, it is better than the second one. I fell in love with Doga's mansion theme tune and the crystal tower soundtrack, I felt like i was in Heaven. Now they added Auto-Battle it made grinding 10x easier, so you can enjoy the gameplay a lot more.

If you are new to the Final Fantasy franchise, I recommend you play this Android version of FF3 (on a TV with a gamepad) before any other version or any other series game; the normal character skill selection and story details that you expect in most RPGs is pushed back in FF3 until after you have tried out basic combat and exploring. Also, battles aren't triggered if you don't move, and once they've started, they're fully turn-based. So you can always take your time and relax with this game.

This game can best be described as 'Final Fantasy Improved'. The third entry in the series essentially added in a lot of nice things that the original game did not have - such as a story, the ability to change jobs, and using spells to interact with the environment. The port was perfect and never did I feel the controls holding me back from playing. However, for all the good points of the game, one failing it has is that its story and gameplay were abit bland and generic. Maybe overpriced.

This is one of the few FF I actually finished, and I'm not really good at RPGs so the difficulty is definitely not that high. Story may be basic but still pleasant to follow, graphics are really cute and detailed, UI is clean and uncluttered and I love the old school gameplay. Some seem to struggle with the moving D-pad but it allows you to play with one finger. Move across the screen for directions and tap for actions. And the game is actually fully compatible with Bluetooth controllers.

Great game. Finding hidden items. It's kinda a PITA because you have to zoom in, which makes navigation harder, also game tends to auto zoom out on it's own. Map isn't as detailed as the non 3d version (not a huge issue)

Amazing, fun game. Best port/remake of Final Fantasy 3, and arguably the best port of any FF game. Very fun. Many classes to choose from and customize, with most being useful. Grinding is required. Some areas are tough and require certain classes. Get a knight and dragoon leveled up asap, as they help alot in certain parts.

I got this game for Christmas five years ago on the Nintendo DS, and last May, to my disappointment, I lost it in the Walt Disney Suite on the Disney Magic (if you find it, its yours), but I was really sad i couldn't finish the game and local Game Stops didn't have a copy. Then I found out its on Google Play, and the visuals are enhanced a tad bit from the DS. For only a $15 game its amazing, i highly recommend it to any RPG and Final Fantasy fan.

I usually do not play mobile games, but I had to play this here because it is really a great version. I do prefer the control interface of a DS system, but I can get over it for this one. FF3 is mashed potatoes and cornbread. Just good ole' fashioned JRPG. Many of the famous tropes of the genre started here. I recommend if you want a simple but competent turn-based JRPG.

Just like the DS version (mostly). Worth every penny if you dont own a DS anymore. Takes me back to high school when I had this on the aforementioned DS and I say just like the DS version (mostly) because the touch controls take alittle getting used to. Not on the developers fault though; I have neverwinter nights for android as well same problem- these games weren't thought of to work on mobile when originally developed, so that it actually works and is playable is amazing!

Now this game feels a lot better being played using a bluetooth/USB controller on a larger screen, (especially if you are using a Chromebook device and can input the screen to an HDMI compatible tv using an HDMI cable) I would love to see more of the older Final Fantasy Android ported games get updates like this for controller and large screen support! (Specifically Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy IV, and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years)

Great Update, this is for sure the best way to play this game now, looks great on 21:9 screens, on Note 10 it is truly edge to edge. Auto battle does indeed make for way faster grinding. The game itself is unabashedly old school and pretty light on story but there's something very charming about FF3. It's a good one to just pick up and play a bit of without needing to fully turn on your brain, tho I would advise a walk through because it's confusing to know where to go

A brilliant remake of a brilliant game. The job system allows for so many different approaches to gameplay, and really allows for unique expression of character. My only nitpick would be that the gap between the final boss and the endgame Superboss is irritatingly large, and it's a bit of a pain to grind out, but aside from that, this game is almost perfect. 9.9/10

I have been a fan of Final Fantasy for more than 2 decades now, and love nearly all the entries. I have invested much time and money into Square(Enix), and was excited to get this fantastic remake. I highly recommend this to anyone who's a fan....but there's just one problem. The Google market keeps saying there's a rather nice size update for this, and every time I go to download it, I get an error 911 message. What gives?

I've played through this on the PSP and it's a great version of the game. So far this port works very well and plays really nice. Stable, no issues so far. Like the expanded story with actual characters compared with the famicom version. It's a bit better balanced also. Cut-scenes are neat and the soundtrack is great! I have the 6 original Dragon Quest games and FF4 and 3 plus emulators and these turn-based JRPGs are perfect for playing on mobile devices. Love it!

This is a port of the Nintendo DS version of the game. This port improves on the games resolution and is optimized for mobile gaming. Other than that the game is exactly how you remembered back on the DS. My only complaint would be the touch controls can be hard to cooperate depending on the user. Misclicks are bound to happen and they will happen at the worst time.

It's basically the DS port without mognet. It's a fantastic game that works well on the android system with streamlined easy controls and great sound. If you've never played this game you owe it to yourself to experience it, or if you're coming back after playing the original or a different port, you'll be right at home with this version.

This was as well-done as I could have hoped, for a mobile port of Final Fantasy. The touch controls are totally fine, and easy to get used to, but the app does support using a controller instead, if you want. It has two options for different button configurations if you do. The graphics look pretty good, for what they are. I personally would prefer clean 2D graphics over the blocky 3D ones that it has. But I really enjoyed the game and played it all the way through. Lots of fun.

This app is quite literally a port of the DS version of Final Fantasy III, which itself was a port of the original Japan-only Nintendo game. As far as ports of ports go, this one is better, with more intuitive touch controls and no useless Mognet "feature". The third installment in the Final Fantasy series is from early in the life of the franchise, which means that both the story and the gameplay are quite rudimentary. The job system is lots of fun, adding a level of strategy and replayability.

Good game but a few issues. The double side move touch isn't that great.. better than a single fixed stick but needs work. FFT WoTL has the best touch screen capability. No original sound option for music. When selecting the next or previous arrow in game menu the animation is sickening, I literally get a headache watching it, just change the details don't shift the entire screen. No option for walk only, it would be nice to see a walk only option. So far that's all I got. 6+hrs deep
