I'm pro photographer (digital and retro) and the logo at first caught my attention, so vintage, and when I get into it I see that is a retro photography app, that almost all of it in the market sucks, but like always I try it and is pretty good, the experience is so realistic because in the real analog photography you never can see what is really going on, I love the negatives when you are changing the film, and the effects are pretty real, maybe I don't love the "printed photos" borders, but ok

I enjoy the 'look' I get with different film stocks, and a lot of them are visually appealing. But what prevents me from rating higher are these forced gimmicks that seem to be useless. Things like forced crops with certain film presets, massive borders. If I pay $3 for a preset, I don't want a border, full stop. Also other things too, like no manual mode, no JPEG quality controls, etc. Hope FIMO improves, because this app has potential.

Very nice app, but would like to be given the option of being able to remove frames as I would prefer to add one at my decision. This is especially so on the Kodachrome film option as the slide frame takes up half the image space. I have to physically crop each shot then enlarge the image if I want to post to my Instagram account. This results in a degradation of image quality. Give users that option and I'll give you five stars.

I've loved using this app since I found it. But in the last update I got sad to see that they changed to a subscription model. Luckily, I've bought all the films that I liked and I can still use them. Since I knew how cheap the films were individually, the yearly subscription price seemed expensive. If you have the budget, I still think the films are great.

Some lovely filters and a cool interface. That said, it can also be very slow and unresponsive - not acceptable for a paid app. I was hoping this was a temporary issue but it's persisted for several months. Won't be renewing my subscription.

1. Can you re-release new year 2020. Why making it 'sold out' it's digital. 2. Can you allow us the ability to save the kdchrome64 without the slide holder. 3. Make it possible to add or remove film strip on final photo. 4. And most importantly. Can you please give us the ability to choose where to focus and measure light? Great app otherwise! Hoping for more film to come soon.

I think this is app is the most polished and clean Flim camera app on the Play Store. Guys I just wanna add a suggestion, can you guys put a time frame on the development of images, for example, I took a photo right now, but I'm not able to see it until a set time period say 24 hours. It makes the experience even better and more realistic. KD Camera does this but the filters are all just fake. Also, add some simple Fuji style films it'll definitely round up the whole app pretty well.

I really enjoy using the film types (filters) and have purchased around 6 or 7. However I was dismayed after the last update to find you now have to pay a yearly subscription to use the filters £26+. As far as I can see I can still use the ones I have purchased which is good. £26 is steep! I will have to think hard before paying £26 per year. But then again I've never developed an app so I don't know how much these things cost, maybe it's fair.

A great app, I've been using it for a while now. However, I'm giving it two stars (and considering leaving) due to the change to subscription mode, which I honestly find ridiculous. Before this we could simply purchase new films as need and want dictated, and that was fine; now the devs went full Adobe on us, and I don't feel like paying the former price of one film every month in order to use the one or two I am interested in. And neither should you. Save that money and you can use real film.

Been using this app for the past three months. Easy to use. Amazing filter. Even the updates are amazing. At the beginning, was confused was not able to switch the films and kept showing error messages. But it works fine now. Hoping to see more amazing films soon. With the latest feature to control exposure value, it makes it even more amazing.

I rarely if ever write reviews for apps I use. But damn! This has to be the best film app I've ever used. The filters are incredible and well designed, the functionality is straightforward and the interface is incredible and intuitive. My only gripe is the timestamp. I don't hate it, I would just appreciate if there was an option to turn it off. Props to the Devs of this amazing app. I hope ads don't take over soon like all other apps do.

Hi. I love your app. But after getting new phone, now I cannot use the filters that I had paid for. It is asking for subscription. Please help! 🙏

Love the app, there are a lot of errors when switching between films and some don't work at all.

It takes a long time to capture a photo, and it doesn't even save the photo. I'm even afraid to purchase since it might be the same result, which would be a waste of money. I really want to use this, but sadly, it doesn't work on my device. 📱Samsung s22 ultra

It's a great app for exploring different types of camera rolls. It gives you six free rolls to start out with, the rest you have to buy. But other than that, the contrasts between the rolls are noticeable. The only thing I suggest is if they could create a camcorder version using the same filters and settings. Other than that, it's the best emulator out in the app store.

STILL BROKEN! I want $ back! This app thqt stopped working shortly after it upsold me on additional items about a half dozen times and I bought all available purchases. I emailed, I left a review I did everything I could to ask the dev to fix the broken app. They didn't even acknowledge my contact or the bugs in the app but had time to start selling new items to poor souls who will take 3 photos then lose the ability to use the product they paid for, just like me. FIX YOUR APP or REFUND?

Best Hipstamatic alternative I've found for Android. Unlike other "camera" apps, you shoot live with the filter (film) instead of applying later. There is an import feature however so you can use any photo in your phone. I like the reproduction of actual film, instead of 1k options to choose from like in other apps. My only wish is that there were a few more films, and the addition of lenses. There is something about finding the right film/lens combo that makes hipstamatic a bit more enjoyable

Finally! A Hipstamatic equivalent for Android! This is a fantastic app, well executed. Many, many thanks. There was nothing like it available for Android for years. I have no complaints, the film packs are reasonably priced. I do have one suggestion - a film pack w/ controls that can do what Hipstamatic TinType for the other platform can do. Maybe a separate app. I'd gladly pay for such an app. Thanks again! I think others have asked for future features such as being able to use all of lenses, magnifications, and frame size on phones such as the the S21.

I am legitimately sad that FIMO wasn't around when I'd made a couple of trips to the West coast back in 2017. I REALLY dig the tactile quality of the UI, there's almost too many film types to choose from, and the explanation of each type is very cool, too. This is an impressive app! O, if you could make it movable to the SD card, that'd be perfect...

I love this app! Great film selection and easy to use. I agree with other folks that we shouldn't be forced to have borders on certain film types. Especially if we paid for them. Nobody is posting/using photos with fake film borders anymore, that's very 2010 instagram. Also I can't find the option to turn off the shutter sound. I've looked ok the app and in my phone (pixel4) settings but I don't see it.
