I usually love this app, and its funtionality. However, the app has been out of service for the last 3 days. Making online transfers impossible during the holidays. I uninstalled the app and tried using it on other devices...all to no avail. Edit: Here we are years later and 5/3 CONSISTANTLY has their app down for work. We're talking 2 times a day on some occasions. I'm switching banks, I've heard of several other people that have had the same issues.

Can't log in most of the times. The "That didn't go as planned" message is irritating. Before the update the app was perfect. Now, me and my family can't log into our accounts most of the times. Not to mention, deposits and outgoing payments are now the same color which made it hard to visually analyze transactions. Please switch everything back to normal.

12/1: Can't log in. No error, just won't budge off the login screen. New app is 5/3rds worse than before. Nov'22 refresh is a step backward. I most use the 53 app to transfer between accounts. Previous interface had more info on the screen. Fonts are bigger w/wasted space on each line. Taps are delayed such as entering numbers to. Everything takes several more clicks. Moving between screens used to be instant. Update feels like a change only for the sake of change.

The new app is horrible! I went to transfer only an additional principal payment, like I have done for years and the app assumes I am also making an additional monthly payment, when I am not! So, it transfered way more money to my mortgage than I wanted. 👎 The submit payment screen does NOT provide a total of how much is being transferred. 👎 In addition, the view documents feature no longer allows for zooming or downloading. 👎Leaving me NO way to view my statements on my phone.

For years I was able to use the mobile app and deposit checks with ease, but ever since the recent update I have had nothing but issues. So much so that I never even use the app anymore. It glitches and logs you out all the time, especially when in the middle of trying to deposit a check. I have tried talking to customer service 3 times, and they cannot help. If having a working banking app and the ability deposit checks via your phone is important to you, I reccomend banking elsewhere.

This app is terrible now. This recent change has made it so much harder to do online banking. Do the designers not use apps on their phones? Useful things like available balance are now in menus, not in the header when you pick an account. The new transfer option is clunky and hard to use. Selecting money amounts to transfer is also difficult on a touch screen due to the decimal. This app has gone from useful to hot garbage with zero notice. CHANGE IT BACK! PLEASE!!!

This app would be great, if it would ever connect to my account. Even over wi-fi, where every other device I own functions perfectly, including every other app on my device, I routinely see an error where "that didn't go as planned" or something of the like. I have tried calling the help center, and every time I am told the technician either doesn't know what happened, or they are unable to see any issues. Indescribably frustrating. Absolutely Godawful.

Terrible since recent revamp. It was so functional and fast before and now everything takes twice as long to load, if it even does. Biometrics only work about a third of the time. I also really miss the quick transfer option that was actually quicker than going through the transfer menu. The emphasis on borderless displays makes it significantly harder to read and find features. Frustrating to go from a smooth app for years to this, with no additional features or value added, just aesthetics.

Use to love this app, but after most recently update, it's absolutely trash, 1st and foremost is they removed the widget, that was a fast and convenient item (BRING IT BACK). Second, the biometric log in keeps turning itself off, annoying to say the least. Third, the app has become much harder to navigate, and find previous transactions as well, they would be better off just going back to the old app

Really 0 stars!!! I used the app daily to check balances and make transfers to my prepaid 360 card. The new app no longer has the Now Balance feature, so you have to login. But the worst thing is they decided not to include all your accounts, specifically the 360 card. This makes the app completely useless to me. I hope they decide to reverse that decision, it makes no sense!

New app is a step backwards. First, it's kind of ugly. More importantly, it crashes often, and though I enable biometric login, more than half of the time when I try to use it I am told I haven't enabled it and am forced to log in manually and turn it on again. And just now when I attempted to pay a bill the amount was wrong. I thought I'd mistyped something but nope. I pressed three digits and the amount to be paid showed as "$151,360.00" Then the program crashed. Did no one beta test this?

The latest version of this app fixed noticable things! But it won't log in most of the time, just hangs. I'm still hopeful these less important things will also be improved: 1) Spacing between items is too much, too much swiping to find a transaction. It would be great if a setting would let me choose between single or multiline transactions 2) Why does the app only display the last few transactions unless you click on a link. Update: The app now displays images of checks!

The most recent update is terrible. The fingerprint login often malfunctions, forcing me to login in manually. It used to load to a nice, neat screen that gave me a perfect overview of my account. Now I have to click through multiple, hard to read screens (The all-white everything is not user friendly!) in an attempt to gather info for my account. I'm still not sure if the balance displayed includes pending transactions. I may actually switch banks because of this.

Typically an update makes the UI better, not this time. The UI is a very bright annoying white even though my system is set for dark screens. The font size is for a 90 year old blind person, I want more data on the screen not separation boxes and huge print. Put the chat button in a dedicated out of the way space, yes I can move it but it doesn't belong anywhere it can move. The app is now very slow compared to old app. Did you even test this with users? Using phone's browser instead, faster.

Love it. No issues at all with logging in via fingerprint. No issues with anything. Works like it is supposed to even the new look and functions are great Update 5/30/24 0 stars. Ever since new app came, I can't log in despite multiple times of uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I just see an "oops something went wrong". Yeah that is helpful...Not.

It's gotten better over the years. There are some things you still have to do online. Assigning credit card points is a particularly frustrating cycle that just keeps sending you back to the login screen over and over. Suggestion: on the Savings Goals tab, there should be buttons for "Add all money not currently assigned to a savings goal" and "Add the amount that would exactly total the savings goal". I keep having to do math which is annoying

Thanks for the Dark Theme...that I can't see because it won't allow me to log in! Been using this app for over a decade. I'm not sure who took over the job of redesigning the layout is confusing. When looking at the transactions it's not as easy to understand a debit or deposit...everything says "processed". There's no running balance. Also it would be nice to have an option of a dark theme. The app layout before was fine. Why change a good thing??

Update: Newer version of app is better. Original: Do not like the update. App was a lot easier to navigate prior to update. Also, when I view my documents I can't enlarge to actually see what I'd says. Even with a larger font and display setting on my phone, and my cheaters on. Can't rotate it in an attempt to enlarge it. This update is useless, harder navigate and was unnecessary. Bring back old app

I actually loathe this app now. while it does look very streamlined, the functionality is ridiculous. If I'm looking through the list of posted transactions and I need to click on one to see more information and I tap to go back to the list view, it takes me to the very beginning of the list and I have to scroll down and find out where I was again. 😔 Please fix this!!

I like the bank but I do not like how the bank refuses to put the new balance under each transaction on the app and even on the website. I've never had a bank not do this so you can see your actual new balance after each transaction and so you can be assured that your new balance is accurate. This bothers me to the point that I am looking at other Banks. It's a very easy functionality to implement , brings transparency and it assures the customer of accurate balances. Need to implement this.
