Initially really liked the app but the video calling doesn't seem to work properly. I can see myself which is not the idea. Can't see how to change the camera around, no obvious controls or settings. Chat itself works well.

I prefer using this over other messaging apps because it is safer for my child. He has used this app to communicate with his friends and even for planning play dates. If you have a child that wants to talk with their friends, and even for yourself as a parent to talk with them, I would reccomend this app.

Waste of time. Thought this app was going to be much better and actually useful. Went to all the hassle of creating profiles for all of us and now I can't even sign my kids in! Tried the "forgot your password?" which is suppose to generate an email to the parent - and doesn't. I tried that twice. App now deleted.

Finally an app that allows full control over text messaging. I love the fact that parents control who is being invited and they can't be invited until you as the parent approve. No more late night texts, no more inappropriate pictures being sent. This app is exactly what I've spent years looking for.

The app refuses to work until I grant it media permissions... I may want to do this later, but a messenger app should work without the permissions - at least while the user is trialling it. Especially if the app is trying to win trust

It started out good and we've been using it for a couple months now. It now randomly asks for an access code for her to use it. I use the same access code and have to reset it. This is very frustrating when she's staying with grandparents and can't get in.

Completely useless. Under the new version you cannot bind a child's tablet to this. You can only bind it to a fennec branded watch. The original version I downloaded I was able to install on my phone and connect to my daughter's tablet. This no longer works. EDIT: I figured out how to use it but WITHOUT their help because there is no support link or support site. STILL NOT IMPRESSED

Useless. You create an account where a typ9 was made. This cannot be corrected. The date of birth has a fixed American format. Adding other people does not work. You scan the qr code and nothing happens. We ended up walking away from this app before first actual use. On top am app that does work.

Good app for messaging for child specially during Covid time for chatting. Only problem is that it doesn't include filesharing and also box for chat and images should be bigger. Currently even for small messages, you are scrolling screen and images are not visible in thumbnail.

The controls are good, but that's where it ends. Voice calls distort to the point where it's hard to understand what's being said. The latest messages don't always show when you click on a chat. It's fairly basic stuff, which should be better.

I really like this app - my 6 year old uses it when he goes to his dad's or grandmother's and has all his family on it. It works great. My only complaint is that the video chat feature has really LOUD audio feedback, even when we are in two separate households. Will change my review to 5 stars when if I find a solution. The voice to text works great but my son likes to video chat us alot and it's hard to hear anything with the feedback so loud. Plz help

Updating the below review to add an extra star. Latest update has added timestamps ------- In general this is a good app. The parental controls to allow safe messaging are good, kids can't add or accept new contacts/friends without prior approval of the parent. One thing that bugs me thou, and I'd rate the app more than 3 stars otherwise, is the lack of timestamps in the conversation window. It's impossible to know at what time a message was sent. Maybe this is configurable and can be turned on?

Great mess nger app I like how you can see the time messages are sent. I'd like to be able to take photos to send in the app. I'd also like to be able to delete a message. If I could do these things I'd give 5 stars

Like the app, like the control, but I don't receive the notifications most of the time. I've tried playing with the settings in app, and for my phone, but I rarely get them as the messages are sent. My kids don't always get them when I send them. Unreliable, which is a shame. Otherwise a great app.

The app has good parental features but is lacking as a messaging app. The app supports text, single images, and group chats. It lacks Message Deletion, Video Sharing, Attachment Downloading, Text Copying, Image Insertion, and Link Clicking. All of which are important for both a clean messaging app and for teaching kids how to use a mature messaging platform. Overall, the app is good for a starter despite its lack of features. Especially at the price of Free.
