A Must-Have for Book Lovers! Fable has completely transformed the way I enjoy books! The app offers a seamless experience for discovering new reads, participating in engaging book discussions, and connecting with fellow readers. I love the curated book clubs and how easy it is to join conversations with people who share my interests. The design is intuitive and user-friendly, making it a pleasure to use daily. Whether you’re a casual reader or a bookworm, Fable is the perfect app.

I can't get into the app. It hangs on the fable logo when I open it. There's no explanation. There are no options to navigate anywhere or log in/out. I uninstalled twice with no change. The app, when I can get into it, loads every new screen by populating each element individally; pages move around for 2-3 seconds before they're finished rendering. I have to select "mark all as read" to stop notifications for things I already clicked on. The app is not great. I wish my bookclub didn't use it etc

Okayy I like this app but I wish it was a little smoother when interacting overall, but specifically with my books(like tbr list) I try to add dates and after everyone i add it shoots be back to the top of the list, sometime i will even refresh and it will be organized different (went from a-z, then refreshed to z-a). It's frustrating as I'm trying to transfer everything over from goodreads and organize it. I also find it takes quite some time to load the pages and I have to go back and tryagain

This app is a breath of fresh air and it can only get better!!! The user interface is amazing, fluid, and very appetizing. The only downside there is- no dark mode yet! The only thing is that it can get a little confusing on choosing books and such. Searching could definitely be cleaned up- and I hope that they will have a scan and add feature in the future. Keep up the good work!

App is user friendly for the most part, gives prompts for book reviews, and space for trigger warnings. The one thing I'm not a fan of is that on the reading streak, you can't go back and add in a day that you missed tracking on the app. Sometimes, people forget, or get so caught up in reading that they aren't thinking about their phones. Their assistance line was great. We lost service during the recent hurricane, and they added my days, but I'm not always going to go through that. Fix plz.

The search function is terrible. I saw people enjoying the app on TikTok and thought I'd give it a second chance. Everytime I search a book, even a popular book, I get "No Results Found." Sometimes if close the search and go back it will magically be there. I've tried resetting the app and downloading but the issue is still there. I think I'll still with my alternative.

can't click on the author's name to see all their books. the transfer from GR was weird. Did it 3 times. Still off. when you try to share your stats, it just shows a small pic of the stats and a phrase "Tap and hold to download." Tap. Hold. Nothing happens. lol, really? you couldn't put it in the ux design that the app led you to other apps? It's clunky and overwhelming, yet so much is missing that's readily available even on the good'ole GoodReads. max of 15 books for monthly summary? why?

Edited: My original concerns were addressed and are no longer an issue. Great app. I visit it daily. Wonderful place for online book clubs, also for basic goal setting, recording your books read, tbr list, and tracking daily reading. There is also an optional tv/movie side as well. Personally, I don't like that in order to have access, I have to have it all mixed together. There is a suggestion aspect but I see other people's books and get add them to my list

Love the social media aspect and the clubs. I also love the ease with which to write reviews. It's also a very clean look. But there are a lot of books not on it yet. And the reading streak isn't user friendly. Spent all day in the car listening to an audiobook, but since it was after midnight before I got on the app, I don't get to log my 4 hours audiobook.

Overall, I love this app. Here are a few issues I have ran into, if they get fixed, I will totally change my rating. 1) I would love for a automated list to be created from finished books for each year. One was created for 2024, but ti didn't have all the books. 2) when I updated the lists by years, and those prior tracking, the finished number of books don't add up to the correct amount. Even though all my other lists were created from the finished list.

I only just heard about Fable two days ago and thought I would try it out in place of Goodreads. From the outside, it looks like a huge improvement in a few areas. But, the actual functionality of the app lets you down. The ability to import lists from Goodreads appears broken. I tried to do it multiple times, but it never worked. The app itself is unresponsive at times, taking multiple taps to accomplish an action. I want to like this app, but I will be skipping it for now.

I'm not sure how I found this app, but I think this is the social media I needed. A professor once said that all literature is part of a big conversation.Being able to see what other people get out of a novel is fantastic. If you read novels (or watch TV as there are clubs for that too), you need this app in your life. I enjoy reading, but with this, I've been able to engage in a way I've been feening for, that I never knew I was missing. It connects and streamlines with a lot of other apps.10*s

Was finally able to contact customer service but I haven't gotten an email reply yet. Will update when they do. The app itself is good and I love the way you can review and connect with other readers. The sync to Goodreads and List is still ehh. I have a book that is duplicated 8 times but when I try to search for it nothing shows up. Hopefully, these things can become better in the future.

I really like some features but annoyed by others. I can't edit previous days , I read everyday (just ask my Kindle streak) but don't always log into apps so I can't mark past days read even though I did. I also don't like that I can't change which version of the book I'm reading, when searching only one pops up.

This app is amazing! Easy to use and so much fun. The social aspect of it is unparalleled. I've made so many friends whom I now connect with daily - on the app and off (for non-book convos). The community on Fable can't be beat. The Fable team is active on the app, quick to answer questions, fix bugs, and always respond to feedback. They are always adding and improving tracking features. Beware, your TBR will quickly get out of control after download.

Looking for an alternative to Goodreads but i find this app annoying and non intuitive. I still can't figure out basic functionality such as how to mark a book as completed so that it counts toward my stats. I've written reviews and marked as finished, both processes more cumbersome than they ought to be and still have encountered no way to mark the date or have it show up in my stats.

I love Fable! I can't say this enough. The new features keeps getting better. I love the family book community here. I will like to see more background colors for reviews, the option to organize the books the way we want, better stricker choices and a way to use our emojis. I love the book shelf option too. love it here!

Though I love the app and I just downloaded it yesterday the problem that I have with this app is it freezes way too much. I have tried several times to get into the app and every time I go to do a review it just freezes. which makes it very hard to do reviews and enjoy the reading experience because when you want to review the book you're reading it freezes it. That is frustrating

I like the app and want to rate 5 stars. It just feels a bit buggy in its current state. It's hard to tell if a book has been put in your finished book library if youve read over like 20 books because those lists aren't loaded in the background. I spent a lot of time going through all my books, then going through those again. I finally found that I have to scroll to the bottom of each list in order for them to show up in their proper category when exploring. I would like to see this change for 5

Edit: bugs have been fixed for most things, however I still don't have the ability to rate books via spice level. Not a huge problem but still would be nice to be able to use this app like everyone else. I do enjoy having a place to keep track of all my books. New update crashed the app and now I can't see my feed, profile, or anything. Logged out to try and see if it was a glitch, can't sign in. Loved the app and tracking my reading goals. However now I can't use it after supposed bug fixes.
