Getting worse as time goes on. I'm always having some kind of issue popping up on things like the SD not working properly (on either camera, think they are trying to force us to pay for cloud which is the only time saving video seems to work...). Another issue I've had is the two way voice not working properly, or needing to do the reset a few times (instead of once) if a storm somehow knocks it offline....

This app is okay but it could be a lot better. I sure wish there was a way that they could modify this app and software on the DVR to allow the user to set motion detection sensitivity for individual zones on a camera. For instance, you could have the sensitivity on your back gate be very high but have the area around it a little lower so it doesn't pick up bugs flying around a light or something. The motion detection is also hit or miss. Things will just randomly appear on video like they were blinked there like I Dream of Jeannie.

The app worked well until a couple months ago. I really liked that I could watch video from my home and simply hit the record button and upload it directly to YouTube. Ever since a couple months ago the YouTube feature will no longer work. Also, since the update cameras that are on motion record will only play back until that motion has stopped, it will not skip forward to the next motion recording on its own. As other people have mentioned, it would be nice to have a fast forward and slow motion ability as well.

So much could be improved. The interface is about the most user unfriendly I have ever encountered. All the options, settings and functions are scattered about on seperate screens, the alarm and recording for motion settings are horrific, and it seems to be missing some relatively simple key features. The camera video is good quality, but that only goes so far with such a limited by design program.

Could be way better. No option to view feed at different speeds. No fast forward or rewind. Just one hard to control scroll bar. Also motion detection could be better. I get an alert everytime the shadow of a leaf from my tree moves. I have to turn off notifications of a windy day. Then it doesn't go off when there is movement that it should have detected.

The app and camera themselves are great and I loved the older version. I was able to recognize where events happened and for how long. I hate the new version, I honestly can't even tell when events happened and 99% of the time where there's "events" it's actually nothing and my actual events aren't being displayed. Also the new folders clips long! Like it's hard to find that specific event that happened in a 26 minute clip. BRING BACK THE OLDER VERSION!! PLS! YOU BROKE WHAT DIDN'T NEEDED FIXING!

The new version viewing playback on the timeline is so not convenient, most people use their smart phone to view the camera, in order to view the larger picture you need to rotate your phone to horizontal but the app will not let you drag the timeline to fast forwards. Not good at all. Need improvement , plus the old version give you a one big combine timeline is way better to view instead of separate clips, at least you give us an option to change to that view like the previous version.

I have 4 Ezviz systems and would buy another 4 channel wired system if I could find one that wasn't refurbished. The app was great bit just did an update and now can't view my video history. Did you remove that function? NEVERMIND. Instead of being a always on bar, I have to hit the video history bar and its much easier to control. Awesome. Thanks.

I like the app on my devices yet if I could change one thing, it'd be that when the at home setting is initiated with recording in progress, it would still record when you close out the app to use your device for a moment for something else. It seems to be continuous recording while not in the app only when the leaving home mode is selected, which means many small video files saved due to motion detection.. I would be more descriptive but don't have enough space.

Works more or less well, but I keep getting false positive human trips with nobody present. I've turned the sensitivity down, but still happens. A nice add on to quell this behavior may be to show a box or some kind of graphic in the video for what zone of the image picked up the 'human'. Then the user can either cut that zone out, or desensitized again. Its to the point of it turning into an ignorable nuisance that completely defeats the purpose of having a camera in the first place!

The notifications for my doorbell ringing on the app seem to be completely broken. It was working for the first few weeks, then I stopped getting them for a while. Now, I get notifications but about 10 minutes after the doorbell was pressed. another problem is that if I want to delete the stored video clips (which are far too short at only ~10 seconds) I have to select them individually and then tap 3 dots, followed by delete and then confirm. What a pain in the a**!!!

Like others, this app worked and then just stopped. we cant view any of our cameras on the app and says all are offline. We have the 4k wired in, and viewing them all live to the TV they are hooked up to is fine. Also, the app will let me go back and look at anything not current, so it's not an internet issue. Also, this system goes through a ton of data. We never even came close to going over our 1024g we get though our cable company until we got these cameras. Needs a lot of improvement!

The EZVIZ app is very well designed and seems to run smoothly... When it works at all. I have this app set up with a HikVision NVR using HikVision's Platform Access setting. 117/11 internet connection and it's constantly failing to load the streams. I think it's because I'm in the US and EZVIZ uses UK servers. Very frustrating dealing with the slow speed but I prefer the UI as opposed to the HikVision apps so I guess I'm stuck with EZVIZ.

I like the system, but I really wish I could export video clips by selecting a start and end time, and not have to manually let my device play the video while recording. similar as can be done from the dvr. It would also really help if it were possible to fast forward from the mobile app and pc studio, especially if I could fast forward while recording? ( it takes too long to capture relevent clips when they have to play at real time. Like a full time job)

Use to love this app, now there are 2 hidden channels that can't be restored in the app. Reinstall by qr code does not work, no where on the camera, box or setup instructions is there a qr code to scan. About to replace the system with another brand unfortunately. UPDATE: Took a couple emails back and forth but the problems have been resolved, all up and running again. Thanks!

The app keeps getting better and better with one major exception. I choose to record locally on my own micro SD card(s). However, I continuously find my choice to use the SD storage had been switched (and not by me) to the cloud storage selection, where I find an ad for deals on cloud service that I am not interested in. It completely destroys all of the great new features that are continually being included.

Software just got updated and needs to set up the device again. Every update setting gets wiped out. It's super frustrating because I do not carry the needed qr code with me and now have to look for it. Update: Even with a qr code, the app is still not working. It's requires the stream to be decrypted but would not send a code to do so. What a nightmare of an application. So buggy and the company just doesn't care.

Had for years, worked okay. Recently got ripped off for the subscription. I was being billed for 15.99 a month, so they took 69.99, and are still trying to take from me an additional 15.99. Says in app that my subscription is expired. After taking 69.99 out of my account unauthorized, I don't see how it says it's expired. Tried reaching them, several attempts. No response.

Horrible customer service. Camera suddenly stopped rotating. Only suggestion they had was "did you try turning it off and on again?" Then proceeded to say because it's past 1 year, it is out of their customer service scope and therefore cannot provide any support to past customers and to buy a new camera when it's really their app that's the issue. They refuse to provide help or look into the actual issue.

Was prompted to upgrade the cameras and now they will not load. Have had issues with cards failing, failing to load, poor video, failing to capture, and unable to change settings. Think I may just get rid of these and find something with better support and ease of use . 3-2024 update. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, customer service is non existent. Have 2 accounts attached to my camera but yet I am.unable to access either. So I have garbage for cameras
