Good App. Got the app for free because my personal information was hacked at the federal level. Basic membership. App can track all my financial information and provide statuses. I appreciate the credit score updates. Don't like that my accounts get disconnected very often and I have to reconnect them to this app. Also wish I didn't have to pay for a Premium service just to get the other two credit bureau scores. Overall, I'm satisfied with the Experian app.

STAY AWAY! Irregular information, poor customer service. Paid for a deluxe plan - shows three (3) scores. At first I was exceptional. Then Experian lists me as Very Good, while the other two (2) ratings remained exceptional for many months now. Wrong! When writing customer service, response time is slow & seems to be located in another country, either by comprehension or response. No credible information has been given about my score, only offers to purchase more expensive plans. Not worth it!

The app is good for knowing where ones credit score is at, but the false alarms on credit increases hurts the moral. I get an alert almost weekly about an increase only to login and see no change. This is something that needs to be addressed. I would like the option to be able to change what information I see on my dashboard not everything on the main page is important information.

When I first started using this app, it was great! easy way to check and watch my credit score grow and/or get notified of any changes quickly, but for over the last 5 months,it has been giving me inaccurate readings. Constantly telling me my credit score has lowered when it hasn't, I checked with my bank and I'm well into the 700's but Experian keeps telling me scores have decreased (even though I haven't missed payments on anything) and continues to show me a score in the 600's. Super annoying

Fix the app. I keep getting notifications about an increase in my credit score that aren't true. Update: Thanks for the response, but the rating stands. I do not believe that credit scores change within seconds of receiving a notification and checking the app. Like I said, I receive notifications of score changes, yet it remains the same. It should be addressed.

The app is OK for basic information, but it's largely a money grab. For example, once a year you could do a onetime purchase to get your credit reports and scores from all three agencies. Now you have to upgrade to a monthly subscription. And everything is like that. It's constantly prompting you to do things that require a monthly subscription. And Credit Boost is useless. I have a high credit score, but when I try to use Boost, it actually goes down.

It's a good app overall but when looking at your FICO Score timeline, it doesn't show numbers, it's simply a line graph with data points. And it's pretty hard to tell what number the data points are. I don't know why they changed that, but it would be nice to have actual numbers included in your timeline so you know exactly how much your doing better than previous months or years.

One year later... still the same problems. I have been using and paying the premium services of this app for years. It's unfortunate that the "Boost" function never works. I can never get my banks to connect, and stay cinnected. And if I am lucky enough to get one, it consistently disconnects, and i lose any boost i was given and have to wait another 3 months showing activity. Support doesn't believe the problem is on their end so nothing us ever fixed. Can I give zero stars?!!

Great tool for immediate basic credit info and monitoring. Thoroughly enjoy the positive updates to improve credit or when you've increased your score. Easy to dispute items if needed. Some of the extra products (loans, auto) sometimes border on harassing with excessive texts. My main gripe, $99 is expensive. all 3 bureaus should be provided. they used to have this at a cheaper price. now you have to pay way more and switch to a monthly plan. Forget it I can wait for my free annual reports.

In order to obtain really useful information, you have to subscribe to the upgraded membership level. For people struggling to raise their credit scores, the upgraded subscription price is insanely expensive. The Basic (free) level is better than nothing. I just lowered the star level from 3 to 2 because the Experian response completely ignored my comment. Clearly, I know there is a free version. I acknowledged that upfront. My point is that the free version provides almost no information.

It would be amazing if it had decent load times. And if Experian boos the thing they promote like crazy was on the actual app. Instead of trying to send you to their website that doesn't work. I was literally so frustrated I was in tears. I'm connected to WiFi that can run online video games well but your website can't even function. Boost either needs it's own app or to be added to the app. If I can't manage my Experian boost what is the point. I Love the service it just needs to be fixed badly

Update 3/29/24 I was paying for premium while I was working on my credit. I changed my membership to Free later & now my whole account has disappeared. I can't login at all. I can create a new one, but all the reports I paid for will be gone. What a waste of money. I'm an extremly unhappy customer. I tried calling & I can't even speak to anyone at Experian. It's all automated. When you ask for a representative it says it can only transfer in limited instances. I couldn't get through.

The app was great. I intended on keeping it for a few months to try it out. Everything was okay until I can't even sign in anymore due to technically difficulties. I've been hoping it was just a technically difficulty but it's been a month now and I've been charged for an additional month and all I want to do now is cancel the subscription but I can't even do that since I still can't sign in.

The app is useful, but no matter how you adjust the notification settings in the app, every day or two, it will give you an annoying push notification trying to sell you something. I got with tech support 3 times about it and only thing that they could have me do in the end was turn off all notifications from the app in my phone's settings so now I won't get any alerts from it if something goes wrong with my credit file. That's when I could finall get someone in support that could understand me.

It's a year later, and the app only works if there's cellular data signal, even with WiFi on. This app works fine ONLY when your phone has LTE signal. WHY??? My WiFi works fine, and when I have poor/no LTE signal, this app constantly pops up "no network" error boxes and disables half of its features. This is the only phone app I've ever seen do this. Why does it complain about LTE network when WiFi is on? Serious design issues.

The amount of junk notification coming from this app is now just disgusting. Several times a day about credit cards and APRs and other useless mess. There is no way to turn those off without disabling all the important notifications too. I'm sure that it was a conscious decision for the app to bundle all the notification types together so they can keep pushing the scam. I'd have expected more from them...

Yeah I'm not updating my payment method. I need to change my membership. I can't even get past the payment screen. Demanding payment when I'm not seeing an invoice page or date for billing or anything. So are you wanting me to pay you now for the upcoming month which I don't plan to do or previous services rendered. And I agree with an earlier review. Credit scores don't change at the drop of a hat. Bureaus update once maybe twice a month. Stop fluffing peoples skirts and wasting our time.

Logging in used to be very slow. It's not perfect yet but has gotten better. Otherwise, the information a available on the site is generally useful. (Update) I'm really tired of the constant nags. I get "updates" almost daily when absolutely nothing has changed. For example I was notified again today, that makes three times this week, that my FICO score has improved. It has not. It is unchanged. I can't find any way to request fewer alerts. That needs to change.

The credit score chart the has your scores for each month of the past year is completely useless because it doesn't display ANY numbers. Not for the current month, not for past months. I only know the current score from other screens. No way to find out where my old scores were at, especially since the little points on the chart barely move from month to month. The chart might as well not be there.

I'm thoroughly impressed with the Experian app! The user interface is sleek and intuitive, making it easy to monitor my credit score and report. The app is also incredibly informative, providing detailed explanations of credit scores and offers personalized tips for improvement. My only suggestion would be to add ability to add widgets to your phone homescreen. However, the app's overall functionality and features make it a must-have for anyone looking to stay on top of their financial health!
