Expedia would get a 0 star review if it were possible. on hold/ texting person. 2 hours before giving up. They changed a flight from a direct one to 600 miles the other direction. And a 2.5 hour layover. Even though there is a direct flight at the same time as the original one. And don't call them because you will be locked in the never ending quagmire of automated messages. Never ever again will I use Expedia.

This app sucks! Since you changed to One Key I have been totally unable to use the app. It is hot garbage. I try to enter a Itinerary number and it won't fill the number into the box. I deleted the app, turned off phone, restarted several minutes later and then got the app again and it still doesn't work. Not once, not twice but several times over the life of this new app. Terrible!

Sign in was a nightmare when I was trying to book a trip. I use this app all the time with no issue. Kept getting a message I needed to try again later. Since they now automatically send a code to sign in (I prefer my password), it automatically emailed me a new code 8 times while I was trying to get around the glitch. Ended up having to go on the website instead of using the app. Hope they have the sign in problem solved by Sat, as I have 3 bookings next week for a trip to Los Angeles.

Concerning business that costs possibly thousands of dollars, you would want an app that works better than this. Lots of functions don't. Like the compare function. Pretty useful but doesn't work. Lots of important things that provide comfort and security while making big purchase decisions don't exist. Super frustrating... lots of back and forth/re-entering info. And then it gets even worse when you try to use the website. Terrible.

Every time I try to open the app, when I go to the Trips page, it doesn't show my trips and has a button to log in or create an account. When I go to the Account page, it shows me as logged in. On the Trips page I click the log in link and log in, even though I already am. So some pages show me as logged in and others do not. It used to work fine. I have the latest version. It seems to have started happening around the whole One Key feature. The app is pretty much unusable.

I have used Expedia for years. There has only been one situation with an independently owned hotel that was booked and, upon arrival, in complete shambles. Absolutely nothing as the photos or description. After reporting this to Expedia, telling them we had found another hotel and had booked it, we asked if there was anything at all we could be compensated for. They gave a full refund by the end of the business day. I will always book through Expedia. Feels good to know they have my back!

App works fine for a bit and then at the most inconvenient time, it'll ask you to verify that you're not a bot. This would be fine; I'm all for security, but after you jump through the hoops at it declares you verified it just refreshes the page and starts asking you to verify again. It's happened several times. Each time, my only solution is to uninstall/reinstall.

The app is super frustrating. Not sure what happened, but it used to work. The app prompts you to log-in and sends you a 6 digit code over and over again and you can't get it. Then the one time I did get in, it has none of my trip information. So then I have to dig through my emails to find the long itinerary number for it to pull up my trip. Then it doesn't save what I've entered, so I have to do it over again. Kind of crazy it's this bad.

I was using Priceline for about + years. Just started using Expedia. I had to contact customer service on my 2nd booking for a refund of a nonrefundable hotel stay because Motel 6 required a hard copy of my drivers license the second night. Wouldn't accept a photo of the license. My call was handled much faster and far more satisfactory than any of the Priceline calls I've made.

The Expedia website has more features than the app. For example, while you're changing filters the website updated the count of matching properties. The app doesn't do that. The website map seems to be more responsive than the one in the app. I hoped that the app would be better than the website but it's not. Uninstalled the app and went back to the website.

After a significant flight change two months out, of which I was given no reimbursement for, I called to request a flight closer to the original agreed time. I was told by Expedia that I would be charged about $200 a passenger, about $600 total to have it moved closer. A previous call to Delta tells me they cannot help due to using a third party to book the ticket. A complaint was filed to Expedia and there's been no response. Using Expedia has so far only complicated things. Would not use again

Very frustrating when the app requires to put in a specific date to search for flights. When you go online and don't use the app, you can browse different dates. It gives you options. Why can't you do that on the app? And the app won't let you use your browser. It forces you to use the app. Very stupid. Makes me want to delete the app and just use my web browser so I can browse and look for a flight on different dates.

Absolute trash app. Can't even search for trips because it refuses to let me choose the area I want to stay. I type the city and there's no suggestions given and no way to confirm. Combined with the sheer number of ads, stick with the mobile site on phones, everyone. Even if it's slower for anyone, it's still better than this garbage.

Let's be real; booking any kind of trip, online or otherwise, can be a pain. At least with Expedia, I can cover all aspects of a trip in one app. And I can also link my rewards programs from airlines, car rentals, and hotels, so I can at least earn some future discounts and better rates. I still struggle with arranging the best itinerary, but with Expedia, I can book an entire trip from beginning to end.

The app since they changed to OneKey points will not let me sign in. I've tried so many times and it always tells me it's something on their end and to try again. Well I do try again, and same thing with the same result. Edit 03/24: the above was fixed on their app but the app is still not functioning 100%. I just booked a car rental that I cannot change or cancel. The app at some point switched my drop off time while I was searching and booking the rental. Frustrating!!! Please fix your app :(

I have used Expedia for years. I eventually got the App and appreciated its ease and particularly the notifications on trips, fares, and reservations. My absolute best part. For the last month or so it's been 'buggy'. Pretty much since it went to a 2 step verification I cannot log in to the app. Deleted and reloaded. Hopefully, that will do it. Otherwise, that will be a wrap for me. Update: the delete and reinstall worked for me. Don't know what the issue was.

I used this app a couple of times, and it has been okay at doing its job before. However, when actually needed help, cancel this time they sent me on a wild goose chase I paid for travel protection because the cost of a hotel was high. I didn't have a choice because of the holiday weekend, I needed to attend class. These classes got moved, even with travel protection they couldn't refund or even point me in the right direction do fix the issue. All information given was to a dead end. Why offer?

App is great, easy to use but my trip was canceled unbeknownst to me, had the insurance, and not receiving a full refund. I was given an alert but only one to pay off remaining balance a week prior. I forgot and a week after it was due Inoticed my trip was canceled and I called customer service. Even if I rebooked I would not not full credit. Will not be using Expedia again.

I've used them for a long time. Hotels deals are good. Cancellations are not an issue if you do it in time. Flights deals are okay, cancellations are horrible. I would not book a flight through Expedia due to hidden fees they didn't tell you the airlines may charge when cancelling. Even when you pay above the basic economy pricing. There was no option to rebook my last flight on the app either. Buyer beware in flight purchases.

FIXed: One of my main go to apps... for trip planning and reservations... There have been problems on occasion where updates would not work well with VPNs Which is usually needed in Public WiFi travel situations... But, something I have seen for many years occur on occasion is now persistent and I cannot use the app I continually get the message on a blank screen "Too Many Requests Provisioned request rate has been exceeded" and I'm stuck... Please, please get to the root of this and fix it
