Starts out fun, but as you progress, you'll fight against Guys with special abilities, and when you unlock them, you'll face more enemies, but those who just flat out ignore the special abilities of your new guys. Then after some time it'll just become hope you got a good spawn. The enemies would always spawn right next to the upgrade and just roll over you. Most of my games after last 15-20 seconds, it's not even a challenge, it's just not fun to play after an hour or two.

I will say it's a fun little game. The variation between evo's and levels is nice. But the latest update broke everything. Daily missions still work, but that's it. Unlocking new island segments doesn't work. Difficulty display is totally useless as it every time still gives you enemies like it did before the patch. Not at all in the range it says it will be. I'm not even sure how they release an update where none of the new features work. And give us a "take all rewards" option.

A good concept, but it's very unbalanced right now. It's impossible to win on some maps because there's no way to hinder your opponents. Either balance the maps, or cut it back to 1v1 bouts. Some units, such as the Turtle, are pretty much impossible to eliminate. Maybe put a decay rate on the shell, if it's in contact with a larger opponent? Progression is also too slow. If you want to hook players, you should be throwing upgrade cards at them for the first few hours.

I like the game a lot. Love the concept and love the execution. Perfect time spender. Great season progression. All around great idea. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the bugs where you lose because the enemy has nonexistent evos that aren't killed by final water wash. I have a screen shot if the devs would like to take a look at it.

Fun game initially. But I've run into a problem where I face the same evo (two "virus" opponents) EVERY match. I've ranked up very high and I don't know what's wrong with the matchmaking structure. The matches are redundant at this point, even when in a tournament. Until them fix this, it's an enjoyable game for a few weeks then it's lacking in any challenge. Also, about 1/10 matches an opponent is alive off the map, so you automatically lose the match when sudden death occurs. Frustrating!

I still like this game but I've taken away 2 stars until the bugs are fixed. I'm tired of loosing due to a bug when I should have won. I free play (no purchases), and I've found it pretty addicting. I can win most games with most types of evos. Yeah, it may take a day or two to get a new evo, and a couple more to upgrade them and of course gameplay will be much faster if you pay. However, if you like that world domination board game, you'll probably love this game.

Haven't been playing for too long (only have 3 evos) but I really like the strategy you need to use to win. It's creative and fun. Though not sure if it's a bit too easy to dominate using the basic evo. I haven't lost but a couple of times with it. If I had a suggestion to make the game more fun I would say add some sort of collect mechanic where you can get bonus coins or gems but there is a much stricter time limit or a set amount of moves to collect said thing. This game is still reallyfun!

The gameplay is fun and it looks fun. Some people complain about it only being vs AI, but I don't particularly mind- I'm not big on PVP. However, the progression through the game is slow- slow enough that it feels like you're getting nowhere. After several days, I haven't gotten enough of the "gems" to purchase even a single box (which all contain randomized upgrades- so even if you do spend $15-20 on unlocking anything but the base 3 types, good luck getting it developed at all).

Its a fantastic game, but with one critical problem. Every. Single. Match, I have a helicopter enemy evo who flies far off the top of the screen and doesnt show up for the rest of the match. It just duplicates itself and never lands. No matter how hard I try, I cant reach it. I always lose due to this one problem. An easy fix to this issue would be to place a death barrier at the top of the screen, so helicopter evos (and normal ones) will die if they go too far off the screen.

I really enjoyed this game! In fact, I was addicted! It's beautiful and fun at times. But that only lasted a day or two. The repeated cons quickly outweigh the pros: frustratingly ridiculous physics(spells which are supposed to help you, shoot your evos off the screen), very unfair map placement, extremely limited/slow growth without paying money, and inexplicable play limitations. Why would you limit the battles with "energy"? Don't you want people to play the game? I don't get it.

Surprisingly deep gameplay for a simple concept. Balancing definitely needs a little work though. As a quick example, the Original gets matched against Turtle pretty frequently, and even at max upgrades, there are maps where if the turtle plays right, it is literally impossible to win because of the default size difference. Monetization strategies could use rethinking as well. The ads/cost to play are a bit much. Unfortunately might end up dropping the game as a result.

I've always wanted a game like this, and this game pulls it amazingly. But the grinding aspect of the game does make it tiring, and the quests reloading every 24 hours is too long. There's also a bug which sometimes, it doesn't load. The 6 hourly chest pauses the time sometimes, and I feel like 6 hours is too much time. Coins are extremely hard to get without buying the season pass. Please fix these issues, as that's what's hindering this game to be almost a perfect game for me. Regards, Gueli

Great strategy game, you can win pretty easily with basic cubes without having to pay if youre strategic enough. Only gripes are that getting new cubes is incredibly difficult without $$$. Also, the game can load and then becomes unresponsive. The background remains animated, but the screen acts as though it cannot sense any touch afterward. Waiting for an update or this game will have become UNPLAYABLE otherwise. ^ Reason for the 2 star.

The latest update provides, apparently, plenty of spaces off screen that your opponents can reach and you cannot. It's kind of difficult to eliminate an opponent who's hiding off screen and repopulating. And the last game I played, my opponent and I both survived the flood (somehow) and the water just moved up off screen, and we just kept battling for about another five minutes. Don't release updates until major bugs have been eliminated, at least. As an avid Zeptolab fan, I'm so disappointed.

The game design is good, until you hit the balancing issues. The point of the game is to either eliminate your opponent, or grow your side to over 300 units. You can unlock different units with different perks, but when you hit the higher levels everyone uses one overpowered class, eliminating any variety while making the game pay-to-win. There are also different stages, which also have overpowered boosts that change the game into a "race to the boost and hope you start in a good spot."

Game is alright, but is highly unchallenging. The computer will annihilate you from time to time to make it seem interesting, but there really isn't much skill involved. Loved how balloon sprites refuse to grow bigger if you are losing. First divide of the match a small piece in the beginning of a game did not grow the entire time. So the game is obviously picking when you will win or lose. Not for me, lots of potential, just bad execution.

It's still a fun game with cute art, but it's losing its luster. Fake multiplayer, some glitches that really should have been fixed by now, and this new evo, Frog, which is incredibly OP, at least what I've seen so far. The slime needs to be an ability they use, or something. As it is, it's automatic and persistent, so they take over the whole field. I'll try other evos to see if there are counters, but since you don't know who's in the match until you play, you can't choose the best evo.

I'll break this down. 1. The game IS fun. There are definitely hours of gameplay. 2. No real PVP. Other games do this, and its not an issue, the reason it is in this game is because theres no attempt at making the AI look similar in rank. I have a level 3, they have a level 8 (max). Everytime. 3. To upgrade the better characters you're pretty much stuck behind a pay wall. Ex: You need 5000 coins, and you get 25 from every match. 4. Energy bar is stupid, it should only go down if you lose.

Ruined by new update :( Despite it's many bugs, it was one of my favorite games for a long time so much so I ranked top 5%. Not only did the new update half max energy, and insert mandatory ads, but it ruined the spirit of the game. Plenty of places sorely needed improvement (like new levels), but the update instead took the game in the wrong direction. There are now 'artifacts' that give you special abilities, but the bots always have more and it promotes luck and chaos, instead of strategy.

I enjoyed this game a lot for many hours of game play. But it has become annoying that hacks let spells before start. And it has become kinda buggy! Also, once you've done maps, you are stuck getting 10 coins at a time and need well over 35,000 to buy the next level up. Will say no ads unless you want to play more than 5 times with slow recharge. If some of these were fixed, I could see keep playing and buying more in the game, but as it is game is good 4 a while, then move on to the next game.
