Difficulty is high, but it has nothing to do with being hard. Its basically a measure of who has the faster ship, longer range, and homing weapons which basically required as even mid level this game moves insanely fast. The AI goes full aimbot and never misses, and can calculate your shots too to enable rediculous dodges. It constantly stays out of reach and pelts you at a range and speed you can't reach. I downloaded a crack to edit my save past the early game and honestly it just gets worse.

This game is pretty phenomenal. It's got a steep learning curve, if (like me) you don't bother much with wikis (in point of fact, I still don't know if there even is one), but the sheer quantity of customization is mind-blowing. Pick a ship you like, deck it out the way you like, configure the controls the way you like (no excuses for whining about them; if you don't like them, change them), and have a blast!

Lots of possibilities, but a very fun little time waster! Update: Unfortunately, with the continously changes the player has gotten weaker and less customizable, now I spent stars on ships I won't be able to use for a long time, I'm very dissapointed in the update that didn't take into account that the player would have spent a lot of money that is now wasted.

The gameplay and newtonian physics are phenomenal. It falls short of 5 stars because the upgrade ui is not explained at all and upgrading your ship is guess work, ships are limited to a set of equipment and nothing about it is apparent and has a srs lack of info about everything. There are no tool tips and the only way to know if you can use something is to try and drag it onto ship. So you end up often buying items you cannot even use.

By and large I love playing this game. The flying and aiming takes time to get used to, but I enjoy it. The game isn't particularly intuitive (upgrading ships, etc) but I've stumbled my way into it and for the most part enjoyed it. However, my big critique is that playing against "hard" AI shouldn't necessarily mean "flawless opponent". I can pull some seriously crazy flying off and still the AI lands hit after hit perfectly. It's a little excessive. But otherwise enjoyable.

On a side note the AI is too perfect and ships are too OP for them. AI is obviously using a physics calc and most of them use twitchy fast ships that make shooting them impossible. I eventually grinded to a missile cruiser but they got faster to the point the missiles could no longer keep up. The AI is also infuriating as the calc combined with the twitchy fast ships and distance control you never even stand a chance unless you have a comparable ship. Even then landing a hit is ridiculous.

Simple top down graphics, works well enough for this game, the controls often lock up and fire without you pressing the button to fire and you have to let go and click again, almost always screwing you over. The game is essentially a grinding sim, enemies difficutly ramps faster than you level up and experience is annoying to get, as is the currency and materials

Love the game and have been playing a long time. There's a lot of grinding, but once you have everything you can still screw around- never loses its fun for me. I'd like to see a new civilization whose trick is that they're really good at modifying ships, so maybe we could get useful hightier things like universal shipyards and the ability to remove permalocked items like the Wormtail and Heavy Vamp ray. One other thing that would be cool would be custom ships where you can design via squares a ship for a high cost based on size.

as a concept, this game is rather amazing. The game is simple at the begining, though once you start gaining a few items and leveling up your ships the game expands in depth and complexity with what can be done. My one major issue has to be how many hours you have to put into the game just to be able to make progress in the game. If the pace of progression could be sped up, that would make me feel better about Event Horizon. Still a fun game regardless.

I really like the game, but I've been consistently dealing with an issue that needs to be fixed! The game consists of 1-1 battles (unless the players chooses to fight all enemies at once). The problem is, if the enemy is too fast then it will repetitively fly circles around the player. This is very annoying as it drags the battle way out and may even make the battle impossible.

Best top down Space RPG I have ever played by far. Plenty of action, freedom, and endless possibilities. It's neverending but never grows old. The only complaint I have is when I am purchasing modules, the info window closes automatically after ten seconds. It would be nice if it stayed open until I decide to close it so I can study the stats without having to constantly reopen it.

I absolutely love the idea and the base concept of the game. However no matter how far you go, the game is very repetitive. Any time you go to a new star system you have to fight the enemies there, then explore. What if there were faction feuds and you could team up with a faction and war against another? Sort of like bounty hunting. Or you could make trading deals with the minerals you get. Maybe set up a base and mine stuff? I get it if you want this to be a nomatic experience, but it's stale.

One of the best Mobile Apps ever, probably due to the fact it's on PC as well. Though however I prefer the mobile version as it's one of the few good games I enjoy playing when I don't have my laptop on me, I think the developer has done an amazing job and hope they continue this work as it is some of the best! P.S The control UI could use with an update, they don't fit the asthetic, it's all grey and everything else is blue.

This is an AMAZING game, and I have played for 5 years. However in that time some good things have changed, specifically the hanger (you used to have a grid that worked similar to designing a ship), the moons used to be actually objects with gravity but now they are just background images, there is also a bug with the jugomunger (a ship probably spelled it wrong) where the tail will randomly teleport around (this shop only shows up rarely) other wise still a great game especially from one guy.

A unique game which is a fresh break from what the play store usually pumps out. Infinite progression, great customizability for your ships, and fun/strategic combat. Even has a proper difficulty curve, which is hard to come by in games. I do, however, think there can be quality-of-life additions, These include: - More "events" (distress beacons, finding a challenge, or whatever. Add new things aside from the event pallete now!) - Less grindiness, more things to do outside of fighting.

SO MUCH TO DO!!! Very fun and easy to play once you get the hang of the controls (I made my joystick and attack buttons larger to make it easier in the beginning) so visit at least 15 systems and 5 planets before writing it off!! It gets progressively harder the farther out you go but you get better loot as well. The closest thing to No man's Sky that I have seen for mobile in regards to exploration and sheer size of the map!!

The game is as good as I can remember. But it needs a facelifting in terms of gameplay mechanics and features. Like for example , when I install a targeting unit on a satelite and fght against a group of enemies, I find it hard to tell who am I targeting, a marker or reticle would be cool. Also need some numbers, it is hard to judge if a target is with in reach of my weapons. That kind of stuff is what the game needs. Also the option to launch a handful of my ships (AI) to support me in battle.

Free to play, and the option to get rid of ads for only $1. The ship combat is awesome and the RPG elements keep you coming back for more with tons of loot. The highlight of the game is the puzzle-like ship customization. If you like Star Control II, check it out! I've been playing for over four years and still enjoy coming back to it. Patches and free expansions have been added several times. Kudos to the dev!

Game has quite a bit of strategy involved at times. I can be very easy but it's not hard to find the crazy difficult stuff as well. It can feel somewhat grindy at times. It takes a very long time to collect every type of ship, weapon, or item, and it always feels like there are more ships and items to pursue and work toward, so it has good replay value.

This was a huge childhood game of mine and I recently downloaded it and, oh boy, do I feel both nostalgia and love from this game. The map and types of encounters feel endless and the fact that I can design my own ships to my liking is wonderful. Despite the praise, there is a few things that I'd like: More music! I love the indie, space feel of the music and I want more. There is also a bug where drones/clones attack the host ship (me). It's annoying and it being fixed would be amazing.
