June 2024. The app won't connect to Eurostar. Populated with old address and details. Cannot book trains at all. Booked in browser. App doesn't show booking. Previous review: Easy to use to book and manage bookings and to use for storing your ticket digitally. I wish it saved my membership number and populated it when I logged in.

It works quite well. The app is still funny with telephone numbers it saves and gets confused but otherwise, fine.

The app is plain weird: it decided based on I don't know what that I wanted to pay in £ instead of $ and I could not find the setting. I tried filling in my address, it crashed before saving. I tried searching for a trip, and the webpage is not available. The last update seems to have broken more things on my side than it has fixed.

Potentially controversial review, but this app works pretty fine for me. I can purchase tickets, it stores the booking and ticket on the app and it is easy to use. My only qualms are that it logs me out every once in a while (which can be irritating), and I have issues where eurostar club reward points are not always automatically collected. These are comparatively small issues though; it's a pretty decent app!

"Annoying" is the first word that comes to mind. The app essentially works but sometimes it can be almost comically frustrating to use. Lots of small irritations with the janky UI that really add up. The website is also pretty annoying to use (and was pretty poor long before the merger with Thalys), so it's not just the app. I suspect the code base behind all this must be a horrifying mess.

I'm glad Eurostar exists. The service is great. But this app is mediocre at best. I've been using it for 2 years ish. Logs me out regularly and without warning. No way to show live delay info for a given booking. You have to repeatedly enter your passenger details, it does not save them. For 3 days I couldn't download my tickets or refresh bookings, just says "please try again, we're having problems". Had to reset all app data for it to work again.

Literally doesn't work. I can't choose dates, so I can't book at all, i have to go to the website in the browser, didn't work before the update, doesn't work after the update i just did on the same date of this review. On Android on a Samsung galaxy S22+

0 stars if it were possible. Why is it that everytime i want to book a ticket, i have to re-enter my information which is ALREADY in my profile.... Also, even though I am in tbe Netherlands, prices are always shown in British pounds.

Halfway there... This app is much better than other train apps, but not at good as an airline app. It lacks basic functionality like reflecting a train delay, or alertng you when a delay is expected and you would have made alternate arrangements.

Ruthless algorithm aimed at milking as much money as possible from clients. I put a ticket in my basket but did not buy it, and did another search right away and the same ticket was now £15 more! I didn't buy, and the next day the ticket was back to the initial price. This is unbelievable

No delay information. The train is delayed by more than 1 hour and is still showing as on time. There are much better ways of spending time than waiting in the security control queue and the app is supposed to show the delay information

Less of an app and more of a web interface. It doesn't start without Internet connection. So no chance to have access to your tickets. Also, every now and then your bookings disappear.

App is Anglocentric and doesn't allow booking of trains from Germany to point further south in France than Paris. It's much worse and much more expensive than it was before. I know this is as much about Eurostar trains as about the app, but the whole package is just unbelievably disappointing.

Nothing worked properly. Whilst sitting on a delayed train still in Brussels the app said we'd set off. Most of the the the app didn't work at all. Couldn't get live updates. The final joke was at our original arrival time the app stated we'd arrived in London, when we'd not even reached the tunnel. Won't bother trying to use it again

This app has very little going for it. Booking works just ok, but nothing else works well or reliably, especially information on delays. You would think the small number of features would be manageable, but, sadly, no! Edit [June 2024]: neither the app nor the website show a delay for a train that is around 15 minutes behind schedule. How can something so simple be done (or not done, I guess) so poorly? July 2024: New month, same awful app.

Save passenger details checkbox doesnt work (it errors with an unable to save message) so you cant save passenger info to phone. It means you have to go through the tedium of re-entering all passport details for each passenger for each booking. The only way to successfully submit passenger info is to clear the check box. This should be a simple fix Eurostar.

It updated and now I can't view my booking. There is no live chat feature with a real person. It's really hard to get a response for any issues. I thought I could really on the app too cute my booking so I deleted my confirmation email, but now I know it's not a reliable source and an having trickle retrieving my reservation.

Confusing choices between which of the Eurostar and rail planner apps to use. It seems difficult to make a seat reservation as well. Changing a seat reservation had to be done on a browser. I think if Eurostar set expectations lower people would be happier with the app but as it is expectations are high and the results are difficult.

Terrible. A big step down from the Thalys app, which already wasn't great. It has bugs. It cannot remember that I am a senior and even when I change it from adult to senior, the app still says adult. The worst change compared to the Thalys app is that you cannot select seats anymore, not even in first class. The trains are fully booked much of the time and overpriced due to their monopoly. There aren't enough trains relative to the demand and it becomes harder and harder to find a seat.
