In similar lines to so many other reviewers, I also submit that the new version of the app freezes each and every time I launch it, and also that you DEFINITELY need to bring the widget back. Edit (11/2023): I've changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars. Everything works nice and smoothly with this app now, and the widget is pretty good. No complaints any more.

Good mixture of new, breaking news and travel, well designed layout and easy to read, only request would be for more options in the widget to choose from, rather than "home" and "jist in", could add for example "europe", "brexit" etc., just like the headings in the app.

Was a very good news service, in English and good in spanish. Those journalists really work with ethics. But on last upgrade: annoying start of advertising on every video. In fact 2 adverts at same time. Every time you change to another puts new invasive advertising. Hey guys, I know it's for living but make it easy for the viewers.

The news is sometimes of high quality/relevancy with shocking exceptions (see further about old articles) but is loaded with ads, many of which are click-bait ads, false news etc. Very disappointed. Will be using far less. Many so-called "current" news articles are stale or dated, e.g. on June 16, 2023 an article entitled "Easter travel: UK travellers urged..." EASTER news in the month of JUNE??? Laughable.

Surely one of the best news networks in the World. Actually Euronews tv channel is still not available in my country. So, I'm using it's app to watch it. Unbiased & impartial reporting of this network does inspire me to believe in it. And it's app is so easy to use. Thanks to Euronews for excellent service.

Those of us who use the phone app, I believe, use it to watch or listen to Euronews while we drive, cook, shower etc. The new format Euronews has chosen where they subtitle non- English (or non-other language) interviews instead of the voice-over they used to use, makes the app less user friendly. If I want to read ... I can read the written version of the articles. Also removing the anker-person and the longer form from the morning news has turned me off Euronews.

I have been using this app for a couple of years to stay informed. I especially appreciate the 'view' articles. Am very disappointed to see that, recently, instead of referencing related pieces, the bottom of each article now shows 10-12 clickbait ads, quoting misinformation, sprinkled with 1-2 legitimate links. The economic hit from covid cannot justify the decision to quickly cash-in this way, at the long-term expense of euronews' reputation. I strongly hope the editors will reconsider.

Used to function alright, now for more than a month has weird glitch with the sound and image. Keeps shutting down live stream or just freezing. Way too many ads and there are odd periods where the latest news keep spinning one after another and then hours of some side investigative documentaries that go on without any news reports in between.

I like this app because it covers important news from every part of the world. Besides, it saves materials for offline reading. However, some newsreaders' accent sounds foreign which is not attractive to those who like to improve their pronunciation.

This app only works correct just after installing it. After that when opening it it crashes all the time. When receiving a notification and trying to read it the app crashes. Restarting my phone does not solve this issue. Deinstalling the app and installing it again makes it work once. Played around with settings & auto app management. It seems to be working now. Finally I can use it. It should work out of the box.

No issue with the content itself, but ads covering the last few lines of articles are an all too common issue with this app.

No issues with the quality of contents (articles). However the app crashes after reading a few articles. There are some major issues with the black and white themes (such as white headings on the white background). Screen sometimes randomly flashes and that makes the app completely unusable. Videos occasionally stop playing and the app closes/crashes. All these factors make the user experience unpleasant. Please fix it, Android 10, oneplus 7 (powerful enough to run the Euronews app).

Really love this app. It's stable and informative. However there is difference between contents, e.g. in English and in Russian. It seems that some sensitive news articles are able to appear with certain delay or even it never happens. For example, some recent news on the ongoing elections in Belarus were appeared in English but not in Russian version of the app. It's really strange to me.

Bring on this new app -quickly! I started reading an article until it referred to something being implemented in 2021. Then read at the top that it was written in 2016, -I mean please, what's that about. If that wasn't bizarre enough, there seems to be little "real" news. Lots on comentery or related stories. Little in the way of headline news. So now its the app that needs reviewing. Well, I've had enough. Now deleted for the 2nd time, can't say I didn't try. Way more ads for crems' than news.

The app is amazing! The user experience is seamless, the app doesn't stutter nor glitch. The Live TV option is easily available, and the actual streaming video player is very user-friendly. Best news app I've ever used!

This used to be one of the best news apps out there. Great journalism, clean design and very good functionality. But the latest update added these two huge arrows to the left and right of every article. It's rather annoying and a worrying sign that Euronews might be going down that path of unwarranted and rather annoying design changes. Update Jan 25: the arrows now disappear after 2 seconds. Okay.
