It's a really good app if your into history or are really good at problem solving. However when you get to the level where you can't drop stuff and the libary level that's where things start to get a bit tricky. It's quite a nice game but the game play isn't too good. Developers need to make some levels a little easier and maybe even remove others too

Excellent graphics and most puzzles are good (though too easy), but when you're stuck you're stuck. There's no way to skip to the next level. I got stuck with the clue "There must be something strong to move this..." but absolutely no point anywhere on the screen responded to tapping, swiping, tilting or shaking so I presume the problem was unresponsiveness to touch. OK, bye then.

Not playable in German, because text is longer and therefore not readable/visible. Switched to English. But it's still not fun. Ad after ad destroying any atmosphere. Sometimes you don't know what to do, no feedback whatever is wrong or right. It seems frozen, but it isn't. Even with hints it's not solvable.

It was an ok game until I reached the payment choice. I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay for a game that was just "ok", so I tried the option of downloading one other game and do the achievement, but after 4 days that took me to complete, I couldn't continue Alcatraz, no idea why. It just doesn't accept it that I completed the task. Anyway, after reading a lot of reviews to find a solution (I didn't btw), I think that I shouldn't support that app. There are better escape apps for free/watch adds

Tried downloading this game again after attempting and failing to get passed a glitch in 2017(and I paid for the full game. Can't get passed the metal detector because the scissors won't cut the plug. Sooo annoying, I've looked at every cheat/help site I can find and have done everything possible but to no avail. Uninstalled, it's just too tedious. Which is a shame because it could be brilliant

Very interesting and good looking game. However the biggest downfall is, you are on your own. No hints, no info, nothing. You must pay to get help. The function "watch video for free hint" is broken, since the video always is not available. There isn't any instructions at all. Basically you have to guessing everything up, including your objectives.

A game for: How to use your phone device in weird ways. Some gestures are so unintuitive that I needed to look them up online. e.g. two fingers push against the wall or look at the screen from 10 degree angle to see red buttons. The brain-teaser/logic score is 2/5. Gameplay: 3.5/5. Graphics: 2.5/5. Monetization: 1/5. (Awful nickel and diminig -- Pay 50 cents more for some clues!). Overall, wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The Room collection games are much more puzzle than this.

This game was fun, but I'm not sure how long it is or if it's worth buying since you either have to pay $1.50 to continue after completing the first list of "jailbreak" items, or you have to download other games and do a long list or requirements in those games to open the free version of this one. I would love to finish it, but it's just to demanding of time.

Aside from the unnecessarily hard part of carrying supply, the game is very well made and interesting. That is, until you start collecting raincoats. After I collected my first one, the game froze. I booted it up again and it froze again. From other reviews, I also rate 1 star for the very annoying pay wall.

The buggiest game I have ever played. Never have I played such an unstable game. Frequent freezes, crashes, and this annoying thing where the screen starts flashing. Spent more time restarting the game than playing. The game itself is super easy. Not terrible (not including the issues), but definitely not a challenge in any sense of the word. If you're gonna buy it, go with the cheapest option, it's not worth anything more than that.

The balancing level, which is like three minutes into gameplay, is absolutely horrendous. Took me about 50 tries and it's not an issue with my phones sensor. Kept shooting off the right side no matter how much I leaned away from it. Lame. But, overall a fun game. Somethings wrong with that bit for sure though. I only got past it by sheer luck.

It won't let me continue to play unless I either pay or I do some bogus "free" option (where I've gotta download some OTHER app lisyed and then play THAT one). Also the controls are terrible, and it's all set up so you either have to already know a certain thing or you have to guess over and over until you get it right (like knowing that a bar for lifting weights weighs 45 pounds)... overall, total waste of 5 minutes. -_-

My attempt at unlocking the game for free was met with a "wheres waldo"-esque multiple choice game that put me through 40 different puzzles and 40 pages of ads before finally telling me i had only gotten a 98% and would have to try something else to unlock the game. I figured from the start that it wasnt ACTUALLY going to result in my getting to continue the game, but it was disappointing to be proven correct. Its a shame, as this game was actually pretty engaging up until the cash grab kicked in. Oh well.

Don't play this game. Dont believe the good reaviews. I ignored the one star reviews and just wasted 30 Minutes of my life with non intuitive puzzles, broken controls, and horrible gameplay, only to get to a screen where you must either buy the game or download another app and get achievements in those games just to progress to level 5 in this one. This is one of the worst games ive ever played. don't be like me.

The gameplay is decent enough so I'm giving two stars, but up to a point I was going to give five. This developer uses the classic strategy of waiting until you've played a fair amount of the game and then blocking you behind a paywall. Alternatively you can fill out few surveys... or so they claim. I jumped through the hoops but it was just another link taking you to the next survey and then the next seemingly forever. Unless you plan on buying it, don't waste your time.

Not really an "escape room" type game but it's still kinda similar. Instead of exploring an area and piecing together "clues". It kinda sets you on a linear path and makes you do tedious chores. The only real "puzzle" i had so far was read this number on the wall and enter it in a lock. Otherwise it's mostly "minigames" for lack of a better word like balancing stuff or alphabatizing a stack of books. I have about half the checklist done for reference.

Half way into the game, as they force ad after ad down your throat, they also force you to buy or finish an action off the board in order to play the full game. I have completed 2 offers back to back and I still can't play the full game. I have restarted and refreshed and still nothing. Wasted my time and lied about unlocking the full game. Dont waste your time downloading this app. They're a rip off. Will be deleting soon if the problem isn't resolved. Review may change to if prompt and successful at fixing my game.

I was so confused at the start. After many attempts at carrying supplies, I realized that you could tilt your phone to balance things. Alot better than trying to do it on the screen. Until I dig out of my cell... then you either have to pay to get to the rest of the game or you could do some of their offers which will span the s*** out of your email which is ridiculous. Unless you want to do half of a game I do not recommended it!

I liked the free part. It was challenging but fun at the same time. It really made you think and every level got harder, which not every escape game does. There are a couple of perks though. At points it was hard to move things. For example the Library. The books were hard to move. And it didn't remind me of what I have seen Alcatraz like. But overall, this app was exciting and fun, and you should give it a chance.

Creative gameplay and cool art, but the game pretty much holds your hand the entire time. The puzzles are rather boring. Then, just as you're avout to escape, the game prompts you to pay to continue or gives you a "free" option. The free option requires you to "complete an offer" of your choice to continue. But this is NOT FREE. Free means one-way. Free means nothing in return. Giving my information up to a survey site or downloading an app might not cost me money, but neither is really "free."
