I used to love epocrates to look up drug interactions and descriptions while running calls on the ambulance. Unfortunately, when the app opens to the main screen now, I can't do anything. I am unable to scroll or tap on anything, including the search bar. This has been occurring for at least a month now. I'm getting a new phone in a few days, so I'll try it again then and will update if anything changes.

I've used this app for years. Started paying for it once I could afford it. In my opinion it's not the app it used to be. It never seems to stay updated, so whenever I try to use it, I have to work at manually updating, which is usually unsuccessful. I just tried to look at black box warning for ciprofloxacin and it couldn't pull up without updating, which it couldn't do in several minutes. Free Google search was faster and more effective than this subscription app. Why do I subscribe?

Since the new upgrade I am no longer able to search for a topic & get any results. It keeps saying that it is updating or syncing but it has been doing this for days. I paid for this app & many of the features are no longer working. I can't search diagnosis to look up treatments. This app is useless to me, how can we fix this. I have even tried restarting my phone & that didn't work. Decided to uninstall the app & reinstalled it, but now it really is not working won't even finish download!

Do not upgrade, as if you have a choice. Will constantly ask for password and then not load. What once was very good has become a joke. Sad to see it go, but it has become worthless. Decided to try again. It worked! And also has been organized as to my profession's needs. Will see how stable the app is. But for the nonce, looking good.

I love this app usually, but lately, I have been unable to use what I have paid for. I will be canceling if this issue is not fixed. It continuously says that it is syncing. When working, this is very beneficial to me. I used it daily at work until these updates. It is very frustrating. 12/8/23 This app stays unstable anymore. I pay an annual subscription and can't even use my mobile app half the time. It's not opening at all on mobile now.

I can no longer use the app at all since the update. I use to really love how easy it was to use. Now it freezes up everytime I open it. 3/14/24- Latest update. It worked okay for a while. It would freeze for the first 5 to 10 seconds but then the app would work. Since the most recent update, it doesn't work at all. I try to open the app, and it freezes. Time to look for another app that's more user friendly.

Obligatory Job Description: Paramedic. Finding apps to use in the field that give me instant results for med interactions is literally vital. Epocrates was my favorite! However, for almost 2 months, the app opens, freezes on the home page, and then I have to force close it. What was once my favorite work app is now a blob on my homescreen. Fix the issue and it's 5 stars from me!

For about 2 weeks now, my Epocrates App on my phone locks up after a couple of uses. Then I have to uninstall and the reinstall. Works a couple of times and the same thing happens. I notice on GooglePlay that there are 2 identical Apps that both download when you install. Is this part of the problem? Very frustrating to be in the middle of a patient visit and not get the info. you need. Please fix this!

I have the s24 ultra, running the latest Android operating system with all the necessary updates. My app is also up-to-date. Unfortunately the app keeps freezing, and force closing. This app unfortunately has been almost unusable over the past few months. I'm unsure as to what is going on but it's a shame because this app is no longer a reliable resource because of the fact that it's not able to function properly on my phone. It appears that other people are having the same issue.

Now, I can't use the drug interactions function because it says it needs to download a content update. You press the button, and nothing happens. It won't complete the content update. I checked, and I have the most recent version from Google Play store. I have relied on this app for many years. Now, I am at a loss. The drug interaction check is a very important, critical function.

I've been using Epocrates for many years now. I am for the Epocrates Plus, in the last month I open the program on my phone which is compatible. It is frozen , and does not work. Removed the app several times and re-downloaded it. I then went to the Play store to see that there's several other people that are complaining about this issue. If this is not taking care of then I will definitely ask for a refund and I will let all my colleagues know. Very frustrating!!!! Please fix

As an NP, I havr used this app for nearly 4 years. 5 stars on content! I have appreciated how up to date the info has been. HOWEVER, following my most recent renewal there are DAILY updates and syncing that take anywhere between 30 min to, currently, an hour and still waiting. Very frustrating. I have been delayed in caring for my patients every single day. If this does not change, I will cancel and find something else.

I've used Epocrates for over 20 years. It was a fantastic, clinically useful app but has become useless over time. There was the debacle after the last update, when it would lock up and become utterly useless. It was "fixed" and with reinstallation was better, and now it is constantly malfunctioning again. Slow to launch (bogs down with ads), then slow to the point of uselessness, if it works at all, and now is locking up and I have to close app. PLEASE FIX!!!

Great app prior to November or so; my first line reference for medications when working as a paramedic or teaching in the classroom, and I used to recommend it to everyone. However, for the last couple of months, it's frozen on the home screen and has had to be force closed; I haven't actually been able to look anything up since then, and will be deleting the app if the issue isn't resolved shortly. Can't currently recommend. Update: same problems as of 9/16/24. Find a different app.

I have used this app since 2001 and prior to this year I never had any significant issues. For the past year it has ranged from slow to unusable. The interaction check, one of the most important and useful aspects of the app, has not worked in months. Instead, it says a content update is necessary and then it goes into an endless cycle punctuated by periodic messages saying the app is not responding. I have updated as well as uninstalled and reinstalled. Update 10/22/24: Issue appears fixed

A bug has been introduced in recent months that says I need a "content update" prior to using the medication interaction checker, but then the content update doesn't even work, so I'm effectively locked out of the interaction checker. Sometimes the checker will work, sometimes the big happens. I can't believe they haven't fixed this yet! The interaction checker is critically important, and I need the tool *immediately* when I'm in the room with a patient! Updated review, bug appears to be fixed

Most recent update (3-24-25) bricked the app for me which is unfortunate as I use it for work. Opening the app loads a screen that is not interactable anywhere within the app. The OS buttons still worked allowing me to close the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled but the issue persisted. This is on a Samsung S22. Please rollback the update until this can be addressed.
