The visuals are the best I've seen of any mobile game. From character design to animations they are stunning. The turn-based battle system has a good twist or two and is quite enjoyable as well. That's about where the good qualities end though. The rates for pulling characters, item drops, etc are terrible, the system of leveling/powering-up your characters is ridiculous, and the prices for premiums are way too high. It may not be the worst offender in those regards, but it's close to it. It is a great game to play casually, but if you want to get into it deep it'll disappoint you with it's demands and little reward for lots of effort

Super fun game, great graphics, beautiful character designs, appealing storyline and fun events. The only problem some players may find is the grinding, it will take a long time to acquire materials for upgrades. However if that doesn't bother you then this game is the one for you, I could personally do with a more rewarding grind. None the less the game is lovely and if you haven't tried it yet then give it a go you might become addicted.

I love this game. I caught wind of it on a whim, and pre-registered for it. This game does not disappoint one bit. The simple controls make the game easy enough for casual play while still keeping me on my seat's edge with the tantalizing story and vivid graphics! Every character stands out in their own way, and so far, no team build feels the same as the other. There have been some graphical overlay errors, but they have been subtle and easily fixed with a quick app restart. Other than that, this game has so far impressed me. Thanks for sharing your game with us!

The game is beautiful, fun characters, nice mechanics....however, the lack of ability to farm specific character....iuno, soul pieces or fragments or at least some way to work towards characters you want, is quite irritating and definitely takes something away from the overall experience. Almost a lack of a specific goal to work towards outside of the storyline. Just my opinion, still a beautiful game.

This is the longest I've played a mobile game and I've enjoyed it for the long run, but recently I've been having major trouble trying to find reasons to stay in the game. The artwork and animations are fantastic, the gameplay's alright and the game is quite rewarding...to an extent. The summoning system is absolutely AGONIZING in every sense of the word. Many players come with great ideas to improve the game but the developers just DO NOT LISTEN! Maybe listening will get this game's rating back

Bumped up to 4 stars. There have been many improvements over the months to the summoning system, along with some good content added. It's a great game now. Animations, sprites, character designs, game systems, and amount of content are all great. The progression is very grindy but doable. I'm not a big fan of healing characters and *changing equipment* costing common currency, but it generally doesn't get in the way too much.

Such an amazing game in terms of art style, story, and musical scores. The main drawback is the slow grinding process and the pop-up "sales" about every hour(most of which are just resources to speed up or skip some of your grinding VERY temporarily, like most mobile games nowadays). If you don't mind starting a game 3 years after launch and are okay with taking your time and simply playing at your own pace, then this game certainly has a lot to offer and enjoy. You won't regret trying it out!

I really like the game, it's alot of grinding but I'm ok with that. Although I'm not ok with the Hunt changes. It was already hard trying to get good gear shifting through low level wyvern drops and just bad stats. But now we get even more garbage clogging the drops like skyshards, energy, dust, and two different kinds of summon tokens on top of trying to filter out that gear. This completely gates you from end game content, and also discourages pulling because you never have gear for new units.

For starters, I don't ever write reviews. That should say something. The second thing I want to point out is the people behind Epic Seven did something that most mobile games fail to do. And that's creating an excellent and engaging game FIRST, where as most mobile games build around a pay structure. Initially the game can feel somewhat overwhelming with everything it throws at you, but that also means there's plenty to do. From campaign missions, arena, increasing friendship points with characters, rune farming, crafted gear farming, and on, and on, and on. In short, this is a great game. And great games deserve credit where credit is due.

Great visuals, story, and good gameplay. The gameplay and visuals are great (minus the fan service). Unfortunately after 1 year of experience I cannot recommend anyone invest time and money in it right now. It's sad, considering the beautiful design and fun gameplay. However, it is too greedy at this point with problematic systems around gold and stamina.

Let's list the pros: I love the animations of the game. I love the uniqueness of each unit. Strategizing around boss passives and skills was fun. I enjoyed the story and the personality each character brought to the table. Cons: Banner pulls are gross. (My breaking point was doing 103 pulls for swimsuit Bellona and I think I got a single 4 star artifact in all of those.) Farming becomes monotonous fast: there's no auto-replay function to allow your characters to just repeat the stage.

I enjoy this game - the story, simple gameplay and artwork, etc. Lately, though, the game has just been unbearably unstable. Numerous crashes while downloading latches, having to redownload patches, the game just outright not working, it's killing the game for me. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it is either hit or miss.

my rating keeps on being taken down!!!! the app keeps crashing and I cant open it after the update! fix it and I'll change my review! edit: After 1 day of not being able to play I wasnt compensated for the delay nor the rewards I lost on. Now the game is gorgeous and the gameplay is great but after getting the free characters there really isn't much to do as it's still a tad new. They definitely need to add a chat functionality.

I can't exactly give my full opinion YET, but from what I've seen, it looks really awesome! The problem I'm having though, is that every time I try to play it, the patch update thingy in the beggining takes too long, and right in the middle of it, it asks me to restart the update due to an error. It doesn't have to do with my wifi, cuz every other app on my phone that includes wifi works just fine. Other than that, I think I'll give it 3 star's anyways! 😁

It's an alright game, as mobile titles go. The graphics are interesting, and the animated cutscenes for special attacks are certainly nice...though repetitive after awhile. Could benefit from an option in settings to turn them off. Overall decent, with my only gripes being essentially the same as everyone elses. Long loading times, and rates. I mean... We're all accustomed to gachas I'm sure, but damn lol. At the least, the hero/artifact imbalance could use some work, cause even if RNGesus smiles on you, chances are you'll pull a 5* artifact not a character (edit: if you get the clock error, just go into phone settings and change your time to automatic.)

Really liked the graphics, animation is on point. The music and sfx were pretty good as well. My only gripe is the use-gold-to-unequip system. There really isn't much benefit outside of disincentivizing experimentation, which imo is a bad trait for such a game. EDIT: quit a few weeks back due to a lack of meaningful changes, got tired of running everything in auto for three weeks straight

If there is one thing that makes me drop a mobile game it's requiring you to have certain characters to progress. There are missions that require you to have and have built up certain characters in order to get past story missions. If you don't have those characters prepare to get bodied over and over again and be stuck at one story point until you do. Absolutely hate that aspect of this game.
