Having been a fan of EtG since its release and played it on both pc and Nintendo Switch, I have thoroughly enjoyed this port! The touch controls are hard to get the hang of but once you do it comes naturally. It's just like when I first played EtG years ago, a slow progress in skill getting deeper and deeper into the gungeon each time! (For anyone struggling with the touch controls, try rearranging them in the custom options and make the fire and dodge buttons bigger!)

love the game. I've purchased it on console, steam and now Mobile (like I said in my Twitter post that I tagged Devolver in) and love the game to death. Excited for two. there's some issues. When you close the game out and reopen it you can see the hidden rooms (good bug but a big regardless) Just went to reopen the game and it failed to load saved data. Now the breach won't load my saved stuff and the camps gone. I can restart the tutorial so that's what I'm going to do later.

Great game, good port, hope the bugs get fixed fast! I've loved Gungeon for years and was so excited to see it finally natively supported on mobile. Unfortunately, the app often won't actually start (icons appear with Chinese characters and the game won't actually start), but I'm sure that'll be fixed. Just a pain to have paid for something and realize it's pretty broken. Also some glitches with the controller settings and stuff. I've emailed the devs, hopefully won't be long before things work.

Been waiting for this game for a long time, it does not disappoint... Except for one rather annoying issue. Manual aiming with charge-up based weapons causes them to prioritize the movement joystick when released, firing the weapon in the direction the character moves, not the direction in which the weapon was aimed before releasing the shot. Having this fixed would be quite lovely :)

I'm still amazed at how they managed to get THE WHOLE DAM GAME on a mobile port! It was already one of my favourite rogue likes on pc, so I'm happy to say this port more then makes justice to it's awesomeness! It still has a couple quirks to work out and some very occasional minor bugs (also doesn't have the gungeon rap when you finish a run which is a real bummer and I don't understand why :/) but otherwise just perfect. Also I'm almost at 100% completion :D

I love Enter the Gungeon. I played this game so much on Steam and have put over 200+Hrs into this game. Seeing it on mobile was exciting. Online Co-Op is something people have been begging for. To finally have it here is very welcomed. But as it stands, the game needs more work. the network/graphical issues that you can experience while playing online can destroy a run. is it worth the 10$ dollars? For Single Player Yes. BUT if you are looking to play with a friend. I CANNOT recommend

Ive been playing with touch controls for a bit and I recently tried using a controller. since switching back to touch controls, I have an issue I've encountered, most of my buttons on screen won't work. I can move, dodge roll, and shoot. outside of that, it won't let me do anything else. I've tried deleting the game, resetting controls and even resetting my phone. nothing works.UPDATE I found a temp. fix, resetting the video settings fixes it. 10/10 game regardless

An amazing port of the game, would pay for the full thing had I not already gotten the game on Switch. Gun UI was a bit tricky to understand, but I got it pretty quickly. Also to the other reviewers complaining about the paywall (and I guess to the people that will inevitably look at the reviews), you are EXPLICITLY told right at the Main Menu that it's a first floor demo until you pay for the full game. The full game on here is $9 btw, which is $5 cheaper than the console and PC versions.

Enter the Gungeon is the definitive roguelike. I love this game, and have spent hundreds of hours playing it. I rated it #12 in my personal list of the top 20 games. This game is digital crack. This is a challenging game, and when I saw that there was a mobile port I thought it was masochistic. Turns out, the auto-aim helps a lot. On my FIRST run (on mobile. I have 250hrs on PC.) I got all the way to the 5th floor boss. The mobile controls are a bit harder, but not too much. Auto-aim is OP.

I loved playing the game on console, but I doubt I'll purchase the full version on mobile. I tried the free trial and felt like the aiming was against me. I got the Lil Bomber and it would shoot behind me 60% of the time. I may revisit this in a couple months. ETG is already an incredibly difficult game. If the mobile port has anything but the "mechanical perfection" the original versions have, then I'm going to avoid the unnecessary frustrations. Thank you.

Big fan of Enter the Gungeon, super stoked it's now available for mobile! Not sure if it's just my phone or a possible bug with the mobile version of the game itself but when first opening the app, I'll be brought to the main menu and the top right corner icons appear in Chinese while the other options are unresponsive, which ultimately leads me to closing the app and reopening it in an attempt to start again. This happens more often than not, which is the reason for the 4 star review.

Pretty good port of the original, and while I do rate this 5 stars for the port and extra content, I will say a couple of things that should get patched so it's more playable for others. optimizations are key here, and seeing people comment about it really hurts the game. while I'm on a galaxy S 20, which runs this game well, I do notice the slight studder every now and then. some of the features such as weapon swapping (doesn't set a weapon properly) and map teleporting don't work sometimes.

I was excited to have this game come out a week before I had to take a 6 hour flight. Bought the full game, got every component to level 5 for the bullet...get to my flight put my phone in airplane mode and the game tells me I need to purchase the full game to play past the first chamber. Seriously?! The game currently has a lot of other issues with controls if youre using a Bluetooth controller...needs fixing and DRM issues apparently. Boo 👎.

I like this game more as a mobile game than a pc or console game. its perfect for a phone. however I have encountered a few issues. The remote bullets item is pretty useless if you using touch controls the trickster mini game is nearly impossible the menu is difficult to navigate with touch controls. this game needs a little bit more tweaking but it has been a blast and worth the purchase.

I'm a big fan of this game on other consoles. There are still some major bugs that can ruin or impede a run on mobile. Most common I've found is finding the same item/weapon that I already have in a run. Worse issue is my character getting stuck running left or right and not being able to pause the game. I've fallen off edges before being able to close my screen. Once these issues get fixed it would deserve a better rating.

It's fun, but this game needs an optimization patch ASAP! There is absolutely no reason why this game is dropping frames on my S21+. Also, some buttons are offset. like, when you're in the book and you're tapping on weapons, some you have to tap outside of them to actually select them. UI definitely needs an overhaul, as the touch controls feel clunky and unfinished. It's been a couple of months, and there's still no optimization update... If anything, the frame stutter has gotten worse! Shame..

One of my favorite games. I'm glad it's on mobile! A few issues with gameplay however. 1. Manual aim works poorly for weapons with charged or single shots (clicking to fire on the aiming joystick while moving with the other sometimes fires shots in the direction the character is MOVING instead of where they are aiming. 2. Using the red save button by the Oubliette entrance causes a crash sending you back to the breach Update: 1/3 of my issues is fixed. Excited for manual aim to be fixed one day

The game on console or pc is great. This mobile port has a few problems. The controls are kinda clunky, not too bad, but it affects the gameplay because this game requires precise movement. I've also seen many glitches, like not being able to pick up an item, some cursed bullets being almost invisible, the button to use activated items disappearing and never coming back, not being able to fire my gun, etc.

Exactly as awesome as I had hoped. only one big problem. the screen orientation is locked left, but my controller plugs in with the flipped orientation and it can't flip. Makes it unplayable with my controller, but it's still amazing and fun and easy to play (with touch controls). Please just fix that one thing that somehow literally every other app manages to do. If auto orientation is a bad idea, just make a setting to play flipped.

Most recent update has removed the Active Item button from the screen. I can change the position of the button in the control menu but the button itself is gone during gameplay, even when active items are available and can normally be used. This game is already pretty buggy but this is just ridiculous. I'd get a refund for this purchase if I could.
