The translation needs a lot of work. It varies between adequate and simply bad depending on what kind of story you're reading. Never unreadable, but very amateur is. Outside of that I love the characters, story, and gameplay a lot! If the translation sees some polish I'll gladly add another star to my rating, but until then I can't give a wholehearted recommendation.

Ensemble Stars Music has ruined me. I got into it on a recommendation from a good friend and now I am completely, utterly, hopelessly addicted. The music is fantastic, the lore shatters me to my very core, every character is unique and loveable in their own way. I've played it every single day since I downloaded it and I genuinely cannot stop. My friends and family are deeply unsettled and frightened by my lack of sleep. The only thing that stops my rampage is running out of BP. Fantastic game.

I love the gameplay!! The translations are kind of off at times, but they're still readable. The characters, all the lore, I love it all. It shocks me how I managed to get into the game and get attached to all of these characters in the game when on day 1 I only picked favorites depending on how pretty the cards were, and for once, I actually felt like reading the story. I love so many units and so many of the idols. Looking forward to future events and more story to read! Overall, Amazingu~

I, personally, think this game is great visually and musically. The UI is fine but it can be complicated for newbies. I do get lag at the beginning of songs but I can get passed it. Download speed for songs and dances are quick for me, but I would really prefer downloading everything as you do the main storyline, just so you don't have to manually do it. I think in these types of games it's best to explore what you can do or follow missions, dailies, and MS. MaM, Madara Mikejima is my bias.(≧▽≦)

Lots of stuff to do, very fun and thoughtfully designed. Love the autoplay feature when I'm busy, and the Office portion is a great break between songs. Translation could be better, and story is definitely geared for people who know of the original Ensemble Stars rather than newbies. Adding more to the idol profiles might help. The rhythm portions are easy to get into and satisfyingly difficult in Hard and Expert, but I keep running into a bug where Live notes randomly Miss, regardless of input.

A great rhythm game! Love the characters and the story if you like them, can be easy to get into. The only issue is that if your phone is more on the weaker side, you will most likely experience lag playing the lives. It doesn't ruin gameplay since you can just turn off the 3d mode. Regardless it's very fun! Being able to play game from launch is amazing! :D

This game is so cool!!! I love how there's so many different genres of music to play a beat map to and how it's not a linear note tap but a circular which is better in my opinion. All the characters are a blast to learn more and more about!! I will say that while playing the stories, whether it be event or main story line, the auto play really sucks and it's a lot better to just press when you're done listening or reading the line.

Very good game and new at that, everything runs pretty smoothly. There is a lot of dialogue at the beginning, I haven't gotten that far into the story to say about later in the game amount of dialogue. Sometimes when I try and click the circles it won't run through and it says I missed them which confuses me. It is a new game so it will probably have bug fixes later in the future, hopefully, anyways I recommend it!

The main issue I'm having- which it seems like others are having too, is note timing. I've been clicking the notes at the right time and yet, my notes will read as missed or bad, when I know my timing was at the absolute worst a "good". I thought it was just my phone at first, but others are having the same issue. I like enstars as a whole, it's a fun game, but if the base of the game is about rhythm and timing, the game NEEDS to display that accurately.

I had a lot of fun with this game, and I like the leveling up system. The harder difficulties are actually challenging and the easier difficulties are easy too, so it's for both casual/new and serious rhythm game players. Though I think the society censorship chat bot is malfunctioning or something because you can't say anything coherent other than a quick "hi." Makes running things kinda difficult, though if you don't care about societies or chatting, then it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

The rhythm gameplay is wonderful and the whole game looks great visually! There's also a visual novel-like story that's okay, a cute little office decoration minigame, and a subtle social element that I like. I love that there aren't any ads too! Of course, it's a gacha game so don't expect to get very far in events and stuff as a free player, even if you're dedicated (100 rolls and counting without a 5*...). Also, the game has some stuttering and crashing issues.

this game is very pretty, both in its 2d cards and its 3d live animations. the songs are all original and relate to each unit giving a very unique experience. as someone who plays a lot of rhythm games, it's a bit on the easy side, though the more recent songs have been more challenging. i deffo recommend to anyone who likes rhythm or otome games!

Valkyrie has completely taken over my mind atp... Anyway this is a really great rhythm game!! Beautiful mvs and outfits as well as fun beatmaps I see a lot of people saying that they're having problems with the notes not being on beat and whatnot but I recommend changing your note speed settings! I haven't had any problems since I adjusted them 😁 The story translations are a little wonky but they're readable, and the storyline is great! I've been playing for 2 yrs now and hope to continue!

I WILL admit... Project Sekai had me spoiled so I was a LITTLE bitter at first about how the card system in this game makes me feel like I have to switch to whatever's best. BUT, after more playing, I LOVE this game. I like that there's still incentive to lvl up lower lvl cards like outfits and support characters. I love that every song has an animation. I love that the music SLAPS!!! I have had so much fun and I've only been playing for a few days. There's so much to do in this game

I'm obsessed! The stories are so good and engaging. I'm always looking forward to the next event and new song. There are over 100 free songs to play and new cards being released. I love the concept of crafting costumes for your idols and fixing your office. I recommend this to all my friends and rhythm game fans. The songs are really fun and graphics are amazing!

The art, music, and beatmaps are enjoyable with various options to change the difficulty. Power saving mode causes lag in songs tho. Importantly, the stories often have mistranslations especially for 1 character (Arashi Narukami) which remove references to Arashi and/or any pronouns at all for her. The references r obvious in the Japanese audio, so the removal is intentional & misleading (English ver). This + no response to the community discourages me from continuing to interact w the game.

My favorite rhythm game. Character and story are fun. 2Dlive and 3d MVs are good, charts are always mapped well, practicing songs can be done without using stamina, and it's easy to do dailies even if you don't have much free time during the day. My only complaint is that when sending gifts to friends, the most recent is at the bottom so it takes a long time to reach it if you've been sending gifts consistently for 1+ year. Would be nice if the most recent loaded first

I love this game to bits but every time I try to log in it keeps telling me I failed to login. I've been trying to access my account for 2 hours now and I re downloaded it, restarted my phone, and changed my browser yet nothing works. I tried to connect Google, Facebook, and my email but it keeps saying the same thing "failed". I don't have a screen shot of my account or anything so I can't report it customer service and I'm at a loss. I'm on Android if that makes a difference but idk what to do

This game is great. I enjoy the characters, the art, and music. However, one flaw with this version of the game is the TRANSLATION. I dislike how often there are grammar errors and misspellings of names. + A BIG flaw in the translation involves a certain characters gender. Arashi. She is CANONICALLY a trans woman. Her art, voice and personality show it well. It feels as if they are trying to erase it. They leave out her pronouns, and overall erase any mentions. They need to look into this.

The english translation is completely inaccurate to the original text. For example, Arashi is a female character, but the game refuses to refer to her that way, resulting in clunky and incorrect text. The translation also has misspelled several words in multiple stories, which can make it hard to tell what's going on in a story. You'd get a more accurate translation from fans, and there's more content on the Japanese version, so there's no point in playing the official english version.
