UPDATE: I'm well into the 200's and difficulty does not increase. Never used a hint and my 6-year old can almost complete the levels only needing a few hints. Original review: Entertaining game when having a little time to kill, but not incredibly challenging. More of a fidget tool than a game. My 6 year old had become interested, so it will probably prove challenging to him at some point. Still fun, though.

Energy is a game of turning small bits of lines and curves to connect a current/flow of energy by using all the pieces like a puzzle. The levels increase difficulty pretty quickly and are challenging each time. I'm around level 20 and the app hasn't crashed or lagged. The developers did a wonderful job using soothing and calming colors and schemas in the graphics. I enjoy it thoroughly!

I like this game because it calms me down and gives me something to do when I'm stressed. But the ads make no sense to me. Why in the world would you put ads for "news outbreaks" in a game that's specially meant for people with stress? I understand having breaks in a game that's free, that's standard. But I'd like the option to change my ad preferences to something less triggering between levels. If I hear "sON HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS?!" one more time it will spiral me into an anxiety attack.

I absolutely love this. It's just challenging enough, the shapes are beautiful. The colors, the gameplay is simplistic yet challenging. I LOVE how every other level it goes from a really complex looking level to a simpler one to give yourself breaks in between so there isn't too much brain tension. I get stressed playing most puzzle games cuz they forget to add stuff like this, so thank you guys for being smart and making this so enjoyable. Also the ads aren't bad, people just like to whine. ❤️❤

I recommend it. Entertaining logic puzzle with visualization leaning. Starts easy in fashion designed to teach as you go. I just complete #101 and already had a few that stumped me into clicking the hint button, and I generally excel at this puzzle type. I almost stopped using it when the ads presented huge delays. That fades. Since they cut back the ad intrusion, i will buy it.

This is one of those rare games that doesn't frustrate me into deleting it fifteen minutes in. There is no competitive elements, no "level" system, or any of the other things that can make "relaxing" games stressful. There are ads, but they're not overwhelming and invasive. (No mid-level ads unless you want a hint.) No microtransactions, no "energy" cap... I've found this to be a great way to unwind before bed and quiet the constant hamster dance my brain can be. No notes!

First 10 levels were great and was just about to see this as my new go to for unwinding. Then, the ads came. Holy ads... Literally every new puzzle triggers one now and i get forced into watching a video hint (which i do not need) and all that is, is just another ad. Anti stress shouldn't be in the name anymore, as the amount of ads actually just stressed me out more. Really like the music, flow, and effects but the advertisements really destroy everything.

I haven't even made it to level 20 yet, as I just opened the game a few minutes ago; however, hands down, a solid 10/10! This is a fantastic game for relaxing and unwinding. It's minimalist in design as well as beautiful. The controls are very smooth and easy, and it's all around user friendly. I highly recommend just giving it a try! And, for those like me who care, as an added bonus, Energy has unlockable achievements!

I really like this game, it is very challenging but also very relaxing! However, I do not like the number of ads as well as the ad content. But what is very annoying is what has been happening for the past few days: the screen will go black every fourth or fifth round of the game and not turn back on to the game. I have to completely exit the game then go back in. Idk if it's an app issue but if the game itself was not so great, I'd delete the app.

DEFINITELY worth $2.99 to disable ads!! I played about 10 or so levels before I decided to go for it, and I'll never regret it. Being able to seamlessly move on to each level is incredibly helpful for my anxiety - it's just nonstop rotating with nice colors and - oh yeah, the sound effects are great!! They're so simple but immerse me that much more. Probably my favorite game of 2019 tbh, 11/10 👌

I really like this game. I understand that ads are necessary for the developers to function, but after every single puzzle there's a 30 second ad. it's excessive and makes the game nearly intolerable. A lot of the puzzles only take me 15-20 seconds to finish; the ads shouldn't make up the vast majority of time spent using the app. Maybe make the ads play every 3rd puzzle? And if I have all sound effects/music off make the ads not blast sound?

Loving it! Just came from another puzzle game that frustrated me through a shower of ads, and Energy was wonderfully relaxing and actually posed a challenge! Love it. 5 stars and no less. Edit 3/25/20: Well, the ads have invaded. There is now 1-2 ads between each puzzle. I spent most of my time staring at the TV while waiting for the ad to let me skip. Puzzles are still fun but the frustration between each puzzle is no longer worth the fun.

It's a fun, mostly relaxing game but frustration sets in when the hit boxes for the pieces isn't clear and you accidentally rotate a piece you didn't mean to. This also makes some puzzles more diffucult than they need to be as it's not obvious which paths connect to each other, which reduces them to simple trial and error instead of unfolding a pattern. A possible solution would be to faintly highlight the hitbox of the piece when you touch it.

Snooze.. General rule of thumb, if you can spin a piece 4 times, it needs to be spun 3 to be put in place. The game isn't challenging, just repetitive tapping. The dev should have created a feature to hold a piece and spin, so you can spin it quickly. Instead, you just end up tapping over and over to turn a piece, when it just needs to go one turn in reverse. Boring game, mediocre visuals.

Wonderful puzzle game, creates a great ambience with soothing graphics & zen music. Difficulty is reasonable, & I don't remember there being an 'energy' mechanic. Biggest complaint are the ads. The occasional pop-up is okay ig? But here, it's annoyingly frequent. Not to mention, the sound for the game requires you to have your volume all the way up to hear it, so when an ad comes on, you get blasted by the audio & defeats the original purpose of the game. Pls fix sound issue and ad frequency..

I love these types of puzzle games, it's pretty tricky, relaxing and fun! I've donated to the developer to receive no ad experience but I've transferred to my new phone and everytime I opened the app, the ad pops up. The "Disable Ad" button is still greyed out which is weird I guess? It never never done that before. Anyways, I enjoyed it so much!! 💛

Game is good, I like the concept a lot. Very mellow but fun. The multi-level ads though are really obnoxious, hence the one star demotion. It's set up to where after five seconds or so you can technically skip it, but the skip button is hidden very small in the corner and if you don't hit it right away it disappears and you're forced to watch the whole ad. Then it might have one or two more screens for the same ad, ranging from 5-10 more seconds, sucking more of your time. A bit annoyed by that.

Honestly loved this game for over a year (enough to buy ad free). It was very relaxing and well made and a good way to quietly stim in public or when I needed something to focus on. Now the app pushes the subscription pop-up EVERY TIME I open it and the about section talks about it helping OCD people to "get better" and "fight OCD and anxiety issues" (which as a neurodivergent person is ableist as HELL). For now, they get 3 stars as I have enjoyed it and hoping the about was a translation error.

Anti-Stress Loops is a soothing game that helps melt away stress with its calming music and engaging loops. The minimalist design and intuitive gameplay make it easy to unwind anytime, anywhere. Plus, the variety of loops ensures there's something for everyone. Whether you need a quick break or a longer relaxation session, Energy is the perfect companion. Highly recommend for anyone looking to de-stress and recharge!

Nice! Best is one can play if or when off-line. To some it is a terrific challenge to others it is an escape while waiting for the clock. Ads are plentiful as many other games. Sure most of the ads are the same over and over and over. So what? Free is not an absolute. So far, it automatically saves game progression even when off-line. I'm not at all sure about the scoring system. Don't care for it to be honest. I like the game.
