Most of the games aren't fun. Beginner levels are too easy and difficulty level increase is painfully slow, so gameplay is insipid. Some games are improperly categorized, as they aren't challenging their associated areas; eg. reading speed game challenges working memory instead, vocabulary rocket game challenges processing speed under pressure rather than vocabulary comprehension. Some timed games pressure into accidental selections purely due to anxiety. Visual vocab game is redundant.

This game legit works your brain out. I can "feel" my brain working after each exercise. I highly recommend this game for young and old people. It is wonderful for new learners trying to improve their of Math, English, Writing, and so much more. It is superb for older peoole to help maintain their cognitive function as the brain ages and declines. Also great for people with learning disabilities. To wit, I myself have Developmental Dyslexia and this has helped me greatly!

I've been enjoying the app quite a bit. I'm on a two week streak. Yes, I haven't shot up to the genuis level in my everyday life. However, the games are genuinely fun, and the animation keeps me engaged. Seeing my statistics keeps me going. I'm always trying to beat my own scores with enthusiasm. I think I would recommend this app. The wide range of subjects really feel well rounded. I'm currently extremely happy to find this app.

I like the app a lot, but I wish the recall game let you use a keyboard to type the answers. I will often know the word but have a hard time finding the pre-selected letters quickly. Maybe they could be there for a reference or as a hint, but then let you type it out normally. My eyes have a hard time finding the correct letters when they're jumbled up.

this is a great website, keeps me on my toes and I can adjust the settings to go faster or slow. I love doing this, it's a real challenge and I wish it were for free or something reasonable like $30 for the year. Don't forget, this content is mainly here to help us seniors stay sharp but we don't always have that kind of money. My free trial ends tomorrow and even though I was busy for a couple of days which caused me to miss out, I surely am going to miss this. I think it deserves ten stars.

This app is garbage, it makes you feel dumb to get your money. It asks if a phrase is being used properly, but when it's used properly, it isn't needed to the sentence. The games are counter-intuitive to each other. It's a seven day free trail, and it offers an extension when you want to cancel. I played the games for an hour and a half, and my levels had basically skyrocketed since the starting test isn't enough to understand your comprehension, your intelligence, or weak points. Don't get it.

I enjoy that they regularly add new content (January 2024 edit:I like the crosswords and it's not repetitive from 2018 any more) to train your brain and the stories' fun facts educate a little while you memorize faster. Loads quickly too. The lifetime membership is worth it in the long run as you can come back years later to find improvements as I have.

I have been using Elevate for over 3 years now, and the daily quiz is still challenging. I like the goals available, and how it rotates different skills constantly to keep the mind fresh. Surprisingly, the skills I thought I had mastered were not my strongest. The initial/yearly price is worth skipping ads and "extras", and the customer support folks will actually answer and review questions. Elevate has helped me continue to learn and correct my previous mistakes. I look forward to more!

Excellent app- but expensive. I have ADHD, Autism PTSD, and brain fog from a few different conditions. I feel like I'm already losing my sharpness at 31. But this app has targeted games that are engaging, pretty, and feel like they would be ready helpful. Unfortunately at $10 per month or $40 for year, it's not an affordable app for me. If you can afford it I do recommend, but I wish it was more accessible.

It has been years since I have reinstalled this app. I have also aged and just started the workouts. I recommend this app to anyone who finds their mind is not as sharp as it was and wants to help regain what they need. The cost to open up additional workouts could not be at a better cost. I am waiting til I understand what is free. I am rating it a 4 as it is difficult to understand the directions. If you could do a few practice runs it would help. Highly recommend!

While it's a really solid concept and has helped me improve on a few skills, the scoring system is slightly flawed. You are scored based on how fast you are (and correctness), and some workouts require reading so you should be given somewhat of a grace period to read scripts. And also time shouldn't be counted for fancy transitions, either make them snappy, or pause the timer because those seconds do count. Otherwise great app, i hope this feedback helps improve the app so i may enjoy it more.

I love the app and have been using it daily for almost 170 days. I was excited about the daily addition of new vocabulary. As a Reading Interventionist, I enjoy building my own knowledge and vocab, as well as sharing with others. However, I have removed one star because the option to hear the pronunciation of words is no longer available, which I really liked. I would love to see this feature return!

I love the 40+ exercises that keep you engaged and focused. They become increasingly challenging based on your EPQ or elevate proficiency quotient score. That, in turn, is calculated based on your speed and accuracy. I do wish they had additional criteria to measure your understanding or exercises and overall improvement. Exercises are categorized into several topics in three subjects: reading, writing, and math. I also wish they could tackle scientific subject matters. Overall, a fine app!

It's a really good app, but 90% of it, you need to buy a subscription to get. I downloaded the screen to help with my Grammer, memory and overall everything they teach. But I could even use the app for 10 minutes before seeing that there's only like 4 things you can do for free. "40+ games" they said more like 40+ games that require subscriptions -_- I hate the fact that there's no good apps that give education, but are actually free. Don't waste your time😐

Great app for keeping your brain sharp!! You get a small daily crossword & 5 daily mini-tests, all of which can be completed in under 10 minutes a day. Also access to unlimited practice sessions & more mini-tests in all subject areas! Progress trends are continually updated. Reason for 4 stars is that I had to buy a year's membership (@ either $40 or $50, I've conveniently forgotten 🙄) bc what you get for free is truly minimal. If you don't mind spending the money, this is Definitely worth it!!

Although the premise is great, I've noticed that failing a game doesn't negatively impact your overall "score" or "EPQ". It simply gives you an option to try again and when you do the next game is super easy. No matter what you always gain EPQ which means the system only records your good games and not your bad ones. The main thing this game is training your brain in are your pleasure senses from gaining rewards to make you feel more comfortable / good about keeping the subscription.

The games are mostly engaging and satisfying. I really do feel like my math skills could improve. I take issue with some of the games, though. In writing, the best way to express a thought is often a matter of opinion. I feel as though the games Clarity and Brevity seek to remove any unique "voice" a speaker may have and frequently dumb down a sentence. I find them unhelpful. Another, Association, may present a word that could be argued two ways. I like the word of the day. May subscribe later.

Is there a way to see what is the correct answer when you get something wrong? It will tell you during game but not when you get stuck & run out of time. Ex. The Commas game. If you get something wrong while time on clock, tells you wrong and why. But there was one I couldn't figure out where the 3rd comma should go & time ran out. The answer wasn't shown. Would have loved to know what I missed and why.

As an English teacher, I can see how these games would help my students improve immensely in a short amount of time. It makes practicing writing and reading fun. The games are accomplished in short increments of time and addictive. It's also designed to be specific to what form of English you speak (American, Australian, British, Canadian). I'm so happy a group of people designed this so beautifully.

I really have liked adding this to my morning routine. I have definitely noticed that doing math in my head is easier, and just using my brain has helped with other parts of my life, such as concentration and generally just using my poor brain! I agree that some of the exercises like brevity just turns the sentence into a more boring one. Yes, it is more concise, but sometimes giving a more dramatic effect is important.
