Really annoying how every time I go to use it, it says session expired and I have to sign in again, why? No other charging app does this. Why are Electrify Canada and America apps not interchangeable? It wouldn't be as big an issue if the American app actually accepted Canadian credit cards which it doesn't.

We have been using it for the last week on a road trip. The app works well, but it doesn't show on Android Auto as per the description. While charging, the app updates about every 60 seconds.

Downloaded app and tried to put in location where I was...standing in front of the charging station. Location does not exist! I connected car and followed instructions and credit card declined. Went to BC hydro station and now charging. So now I deleted the useless app

Trying to log in over internet connection that I just used to download the app. The app says, "Ooops. Sorry. Please check your internet connection." The one that's working perfectly. Unlike the app. Very glad I tried it before I actually needed it. Volkswagen needs to do a lot better.

Functionally it works just fine, but app runs in the background and constantly crashes. "Electrify Canada has unexpectedly stopped" pops up once or twice a day. Even when I haven't opened it that day.

The station allows me to pay via google pay or Samsung pay as I don't use a credit card, which works. I can only set up a credit card as a payment option in the app! Makes the app practically useless!

" please check your internet connection" error. Internet and data on phone is fine. Cannot log into app. Have removed it, deleted all data, and tried again. No luck. Not looking like I'll have a reliable experience here when the chargers open up...

I had to download this app to use their charging station as it was the only one in the area along a trip. There are none of their stations near the city I live in. The app forces you to auto top up balance if it falls below $5. it adds $10 minimum per top up. I now have about $12.50 tied up in this app that I might not ever be able to use. Out of the hands of Electrify Canada, my vehicle has charging problems and would only accept 8kW from the 150kW DCFC station. Charging cost me $40 total.

The App crashes almost every time I use it. Brand new Samsung phone. I just got a new firmware update. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I need this App,as I have free charging for 2 years. Time to spend a few hours at the station and on the phone with support to see if I can get it fixed

The app requires $10 and credit card to sign up. There are practically no locations on this network. The station locations on electrify Canada official site is different to actual stations. Also watch out the app tries to get you to sign up for premium plan where you pay $4 a month regardless whether you charge with their station or not. At the rate listed it costs $17/hr+ to charge. All EC stations also require this app to initiate charging so they are useless if you don't have signal.

Price is too high at $0.70 kwh, speed is not as indicated never reaching anywhere close to 350 and can't turn of auto reload to empty account. From Barrie Ontario site.

New version of the App deleted my credit card payment info but let me start a charge anyway. The session ended 2 minutes later and the app wouldn't let me restart another session. It produced a very general error message with no mention of payment or credit card issues. Thankfully another driver mentioned that it had happened to him too. After re-entering the credit card info things worked again.

Input all required information accurately 6 times but it told me there was a credit card input error (which there wasn't) so I couldn't sign up. I called and was told someone would call me back with a solution but noone has yet. I only hope I can use the charging station in Barrie without the app. After the recent update everything now seems to be fine.

App has worked well so far. Would be nice to have a graph of the charging session. Biggest issue is that you have to have a credit card tied to it and every time you go below $5 it automatically charges you another $10 meaning you'll always have money tied to your account even if you'll never use it. You have the option to use a credit card on the station itself but you won't get charging updates other thana receipt at the end. It would be much better to have direct billing to card in the app

The MLM of charging stations! Auto refill wallets, idle fees, throttled charging, pay by the kilowatt hour. Stations like this are the reason electric cars have a bad name.

Used for months with no issues. I am a premium member. Just got a new phone and logged in. The app made me sign up again. My account balance did not transfer to my new phone, and now I'm being billed twice a month for my membership.

Won't let me finish setting up. Always says at the end that EC is having problems on their end. I called customer support and they said that their technical support people will be in contact. No responses.

Up until December this app worked great, and I like that EC stations deliver KW fairly close to what is advertised. Unfortunately it hasnt been working well since January, with the charge getting dropped multiple times in a session. Ive called in a few times now, once I was talked through using the app properly, the 2nd got started remotely. THANKYOU LOIS who actually took the time to troubleshoot before starting the charge remotely. I feel so much more confident the issue will be resolved!

App is buggy, and frequently freezes. Also, there is no way to zero your account. Once you sign up, they hold on to a minimum of $5 that you have no way to use or get back. Maybe if you started charging and then removed your credit card information? It forces an auto reload at $5. Edit: Spoke with customer support about a station rated 350 kW only outputting 35-70 kW. I was told that's too bad and to deal with it. I also confirmed how to zero the account - delete it, and get refunded.
