This app was very good and nice when I was using it but unfortunately I lost the app on my phone and downloaded again but couldn't sign in My account because I forgot the security question and now I am not able to log in my account, I tried to contact one of there clients but but they said I have to visit there office before they will open it for me which makes it very bad to me cuz the account owner will not be able to come there due to som reason, so please do a that means the Account is notw

Fix your app that hops on one leg....the number of failed transactions are more than the successful ones, getting really annoying. Almost 2 years down the line, still the same issue. Very unreliable internet service

I'm unable to launch the Ecobank mobile App on my phone now for years and even until recently. I really need to know what is wrong. First of all, it requested for “Country” which I input Nigeria, then it requested for the exact mobile number that is linked with my account, which I did, however, the next response was “failed connection or network error ”. How can this issue be resolved?

The App works great until you reset or change your device. The stress I'm going through right now trying to login to my account after I reset my phone is insane. I have spoken to 3 tech support specialists and they directed me to send them a handwritten note and id through a secure mail . all done but still unable to login into my own account. I have accounts with ABSA and Commercial Bank and was able to relogin to those with few security steps. Ecobank tech support is worst......

Please when ever I try to create profile and i tap on create profile, a pop up message appears saying that "We cannot process your request at the moment due to internal system error. Please try again" inwhich i tried several times, although a code is sent to me to complete the registration inwhich I can't.

been using this for over a year. I credited money to my account today and there was no change in my balance. I would avoid downloading this app if I were anyone reading this. I've contacted customer support, nothing yet. I'll return to review again after a while. problem solved, good app🤝🏼🙂

This issue of your app inability to access Internet is getting loud for over 3 months. Regardless of the network used, 3G, 4G, 5G even high-speed WIFI connection, the app will always say 'please check internet connection or try again later.' I've updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, yet no way. Solve this issue ASAP, before you lose tons of customers.

Frustrating 😡. I changed devices in February 2024 and have been unable to log into my account on my new phone since then. Every time I try, I get the message: 'We cannot process your request at the moment due to internal system error. Please try again'. The app used to work great for the past 5 years that I've used it until now. Kindly assist me solve this inconvenience. Thank you 🙏

At first I got stuck but when I got myself through, wow! Very simplistic! Kindly help let's get a passcode before accessing the app as done in some other financial related apps. Also provide trial sessions and a notice of failure to access to the registered phone number of account holder in case of vulnerable attempt to access the app by fraudsters.

Don't waste your time with the Xpress account nonsense in the app. I created an account, uploaded all the data required, and even deposited funds into it all with no problem. But when I try to use my own funds, the problems start. what's the essence of a digital account? If I can not use it? I have to go to the banking hall with an ID for verification. In this era. the developers should talk to binance about verification. But even at the banking hall, the lady had no idea what to do. Imagine!

I lost my phone, got a new one, download Eco bank app, getting started has been war. I was told at the bank that I don't have to be there to activate the app just like Some banks. I keeps on telling me that I don't have internet connection. This is frustrating. To perform any transaction, I have to use POS and pay extra charges. Kindly check the app and fix this please. Thank you

Been trying to make transfer for same days now but the app has set a limit for me and not giving me OTP option. I have called and chatted but till now nothing has changed. I've had this account since 2006 but sometimes I'm tempted to want to close the account. You can't make transactiona on weekends, it just doesn't work. The other party won't receive the money despite the fact that you have been debited

Great app. Easy transaction. But a bit porous. It doesn't totally protect the user . Anyone can just click on the app and get all your transaction history with no stress. My point: 1. The app should only be accessed at the beginning with a passcode 2. Transaction history should have it's own section requiring a password first to see it. Thank you

I've had an extremely poor experience with this app. Despite using a 5G network, the app constantly displays the error message "Check internet connection or try again later". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, but the issue persists. This is frustrating and disappointing. I expect a more reliable experience from a mobile app.

I can't do anything on the app, following someone's response on the review section, I uninstalled the app and re-downloaded it. Still the same response "cannot respond to your response due to system error" same thing even on the previous app, it's frustrating. I contacted assist@ecobank and the AI says wait to connect you to a superior but nothing. This is annoying.

It refused to open. DOES NOT WORK Please fix it I had to reinstall the app, and it wont let me access my account. It keeps saying I should try later, there is no internet access. Which is not true. When it works it is great. But a few people I have met have equally had trouble installing this new version.

This app is surely still developing.. However some urgent upgrades must be made. The app should be upgraded to handle multiple accounts. One should also be able to edit the list of accounts stored for transfers. I have a very long list now, some of the accounts I will like to delete, but this feature is not available.

This app started out like it was brand shiny and new. Updated with all the modern services etc. Until I tried to use it and the headache was instant. Nothing works. My balance was zero which it clearly wasnt before the app updated to this "new" version. I'm so angry at Ecobank because the old app wasnt that great but at least it worked. This does nothing. Even my saved beneficiaries were no longer on the app. I am so fed up. I would rather use the old app than this shiny new nonsense. #madashell

This is frustrating, I cannot access my account anymore. I kept getting the advertisement slide anytime I click on the app to check my account, I have done everything it asked me to do, but it kept go over and over. Installed and installed, still nothing is changing. I have pending transactions to complete.

This app is very frustrating and forget about trying to get help setting it up online. You really are not delivering what you promised with this app especially for those outside Africa. The app should work on any phone and any phone number around the world as long as the person as an active account with Ecobank. Please have a professional fix it. It is really worth it if you want to keep some customers.
