update: checklist feature has been fixed!!! (original review: bought a lifetime subscription because i liked it, but recently the checklist feature has been changed so you can't drag items items on the list to arrange them. if there's a way to turn this feature back on i can't find it. you have to either retype or cut/paste each item now and it's very annoying and time-consuming.)

I've been using this app for over 3 years, and it's been VERY useful and helpful. Keep in mind, I'm a writer. I've wrote pages worth of notes about my stories, I had to of had over 100 notes filled with these ideas, character arcs, plots, episodes, and more. Then today, January 9th 2023, this morning I opened up the app to continue writing and suddenly everything had disappeared. Everything was gone, ALL my work over 3 years! I am disappointed, heartbroken, & furious with this app. DONT get it!

This app is fantastic. You will not be disappointed. I have one request if possible. When I go into "settings" and go to the "custom" section and choose "Remember last selected background" option it doesn't work. I like using black as my notes background but every time I open a new note to write in, I have to keep changing it back to black. The app doesn't remember my last selected background. Can that feature be fixed?

I loved this app at first. Enough to even pay the $20 to have the premium version permanently. (Which is a lot for an app in my opinion) but lately the app has been super glitchy. It's also inconvenient that if you choose to use the check-box list (for groceries and to do lists), it doesn't allow you to add notes separately from the check boxes. That alone isn't really a big deal, but I'm having to frequently go back and fix text, size, bold, etc, because it'll randomly change things up.

It's an alright app. I'm not sure it was worth $30 for VIP, but as stated, it is not the worst. I would like to see a much more efficient interface with more text options, drawing tool/sketching, where the buttons are laid out as a pallet. I have had many frustrating moments trying to change the text color, text flow when typing, editing, and switching page backgrounds.

The number of ads on this is ridiculous, and the fact that they want a monthly subscription is stupid. I'll give it credit for its customizability, but come on, dude. As soon as I get out of a note, I get ads. This is not worth it. You can get note apps that are just as fine FOR FREE!!! Even a one time payment would be better! A subscription for something like this is such a scam.

Haven't used all the features, but I have pro regardless because I can create detailed perfect (bc of the shapes-creator) wireframes pics quickly and save it so neatly in a sleek, not crowded app with tons of useful planner -like templates to choose from and write on like you would with a planner. I use the the dotted background for my wireframes. Its perfect for those! Adding text afterward is easy within the "edit" settings, or you can just write on the image. So convenient, dev! Thank you!

The bullet points are glitching intensely. I can't use them anymore and it's mostly what I use. I save a note, and when I pull it up later, the bullets are either partially disappeared and some completely misplaced, or (like today) they are messing up spacing or deleting categories. I had my biggest glitch today and couldn't even fix it.

Finally, an easy notebook app that's perfect. You get cute backgrounds and you can insert an image that's not ridiculously big or including a frame. I love that the font and font color is customizable with color able to be modified in different parts of the note, that's pretty and useful. And it's affordable.

Got this to replace Evernote, paid for Premium. However, I'm trying to copy over lists to make them checklists & have an issue. I successfully changed a list to check boxes once, but can't do it again, what's the secret? I'd like to be able to select the list, then hit the checkbox icon to change it. Can't select a checklist to copy or move, only 1 item at a time. Can't add a space after a checklist for more text. Subtracted a star until I get checklists sorted out, sent an email.

Swapped from Evernote. I also bought lifetime access which wasn't too expensive, used play credit to get a discount anyway. So far, i love it. Replaced evernote almost completely, only complaint i have is there not being a desktop version that i can sync with, but i understand why. Also really like the different backgrounds and cute emotes as well as the cool fonts!

Love this app. On the free version & there is still a lot of selection. I just wish it was updated more. There's some themes for school children, tracking homework and a few other items. I wish the children had their school stuff separated. Like a Part 1 or over 19, working class or adults and part 2 school, K-12. When you're working on something and you forget to save that, it will automatically save or throw it into a folder for a couple of days. Other than that, I really like the app.

Easy Notes is user-friendly with useful features but struggles with synchronization on Android. As a VIP member, I've faced sync issues on new devices, confirmed by the Geek Squad. Efforts to contact the developer have been fruitless. Similar complaints exist from other users. Its inability to sync makes it unreliable, especially for corporate use. Despite repeated attempts over three days, there's been NO RESPONSE. I'm considering involving Google but remain open to working with the developers.

I'm waiting for a response from the developer but since I've written (which was only a day ago), I've run into a more serious issue: reminders not firing at all, or at best, rarely. This is a main feature for me and app is rendered useless without reminders. I like everything else about the app - lots of bells and whistles - but unfortunately until this gets fixed i won't be able to use it any longer

The checklist function has been rendered useless, and that's mainly what I use it for! If you've already made a list, you can't add checkboxes to the entire list, just the last thing in the list. You also can't drag the checkboxes around anymore, which was pivotal in arranging my grocery lists. Edit: they fixed it! Back to 5 stars

O.K This app is excellent for making and compartmentalizing notes, but formatting in notes is an excruciating pain in the A##! Numbered and bullet lists easily break, forcing you to re-do them, and they lack sub-lists. Formatting in general barely stays as is, forcing you to re-do your work. In recent date, ADs will appear after I close out of note and I cannot exit out of the AD. I am forced to close and then reopen the app EVERY TIME!

UPDATE: This was my favorite note app, the ads started making writing a "quick" note nearly impossible. But I understand the debs need to make their paper. Then, I had spent 2 HOURS writing a very important note for work that I had almost finish editing/highlighting when I pasted a bulleted text then saved the note. When I returned to the note, all my bold/highlighted texts and the spacing was ALL F'd up! I had to scrap the entire note and redo the entire thing!! 2 hours GONE!! >:-{

Web links / hyperlinks can't be seen on a dark background. They're practically invisible. But every time I change the font color for links, it does't save the changes. Upon reopening the note, you see it has kept the default font color. I see no option that specifically makes changes to the behavior / appearance of hyperlinks. But it's obvious the app is treating hyperlinks differently than regular text, because there's no problem changing the font color of regular text. What am I doing wrong?

Well I tried, but it does not work. Soni paid for this app, although it syncs per device, it does not sync across devices. I have 4 devices but this will not sync for each of these devices . Al so reminders so far does not work. So WHY did I waste my money. The only positive I see is the note creation has rich text formatting and that is it. I tried!!! Buyer beaware.

Easy Notes has taken great strides in improving its features and functions for its users. I love the app and it's warm soft tones, shades and colors. I really love that it syncs to other devices where the app is installed. That feature is simple but awesome and allows me to pickup where I left off regarding my note taking. I love this. Occasionally, I do experience problems with the keyboard and am hoping that someone will look into this issue. Otherwise, I am happy with Easy Notes.
