This app used to be pretty good, but the last time I tried to use it, it was awful. The buttons don't work, the device back button minimizes the app, and once you've clicked on an item's picture, there's no way to go back without exiting the app and starting over. I hope these problems get resolved, because DXL is my primary clothing retailer.

Review is for UX, can't click on most buttons including search. Looks like it is slightly and permanently zoomed in, or maybe the header is off screen. Pixel 5a. Will use web version instead for this purchase, last time used was in December on a different phone so can't compare exactly. Will come back and try again on next purchase and will change rating if resolved. Please feel free to reach out if there's an update!

By far the best shopping app I have come across to date. Easily outpaces apps from Men's Warehouse and big retailers in every way. Selection is great and you can easily spend a few hours just browsing the app and looking at different styles. If I had one complaint it would be that the selection focuses HEAVILY on beach clothes (Nautica/HarborBay/Polo) and work clothes (like an office job.) There are some great forays from this theme like MVP Collection and Retro Brand but I'd love to see more hip/trendy stuff. Edit: The app no longer allows me to order. Unfortunate.

This is a functional app, but doesn't offer the utility availible on the mobile site. You can shop on this app easily enough, however, I haven't found a way to add items to my wishlist, and you can't change your size settings in your profile, it also seems to have less options to filter through merchandise. I will be deleting this app, and I'll just keep using the mobile site.

App is faulty! You're encouraged to make an account, but when doing so, it is giving a message that the password doesn't match when, in fact, the passwords do match. I tried 3 different times with 3 different passwords, with each one showing so I can see they do match, but the app continues with "passwords don't match."

This app is really bad. It locks up constantly I can't shop on this. I get about one minute of browsing and it locks up I have to force close it and start over. I can't get past showing 24 of 620. I'll never know what the other 600 shirts look like unless I use the functional website. And another thing - I can't zoom in on any images. I have to take a screenshot and zoom in on that.??? Update. I just tried using this app again. Shopping for a casual shirt. Tapped on a shirt. Got a blank screen!

this app is terrible. signing always gives me a error, I have to check out as guest since it doesn't work. there goes reward points. I even did "forgot password" thinking I put the wrong one in, but nope even the one sent to me doesn't work. anyways says "invalid credentials" I hate having to hop through everything on the website, so I wanted to use the app.

Seems like a decent enough app and having the loyalty points available for when I purchase in store is great. Gets such a low rating from me because there is no way to disable notifications. If an app can't be bothered to allow me to disable notifications then it is removed from my phone. I shouldn't have to use 3rd party apps or phone features to block something an app should have built-in.

Having just installed this app, I know it's not in need of an update (at least on my end), but it's like I'm using a not even half complete app. I can't adjust quantities, the background color contrasting makes reading the text next to impossible. There are other things, but I'm just going to list the major stuff for now. Please fix this so people can use it.

Great app but I couldn't find items on the app that I could find on the website. Kinks need to be worked out & then I can give five stars. Update: Three years later still having the same issues. Click on an item to see in a different color or the back part of the item & nothing. Who ever designed this app should be fired. Take some notes from the nike app. Update: I uninstalled the app as told and still not working properly. Same existing problems I stated before. Please fix.

The app does work, and it's functional when browsing all the products. But it doesnt have all the features an app for a premiere store should have. A very big function is the wishlist, which exists on the app but there is no feasible way to actually add items to your wishlist through the app. Unless I'm just not doing something right, this should be a function that should be available and functions since version 1.0. I hope that future updates add/fix these features.

Recieved a promo code in mail. Decided I would do my first online order. The promo code would not work in app, everytime I entered it and hit apply, the PayPal button would rotate instead. It never recognized the promotion. I'll just continue shopping in-store. Navigation throughout app was difficult, anytime you hit the back button, it would back you out of the app., and you would have restart.

Update after they fixed the dark mode it is now functioning as a shopping app. The app is kinda hot garbage. The app has everything displayed in the wrong color schemes. I mean black background with black text. Or the opposite white on white. Can you try to make the shopping experience more difficult? Only thing they had correct was the cost and payment area. Oh and pictures. But if you want to actually read any other details good luck.

It works and you can order items, but they need to hire a UX developer. Some of it is minor annoyances. But, the one that gets me is if you click on an item and then press the android navigation bar's back button, it exits the app. Which is counter intuitive to how every other app works. And, they decided to put their back button at the top left of the screen, the farthest point from your thumb. I got tired of it and just use the website now.

With most shopping apps, when you change the color of your selection, you can see the change of the color of the item on the model. Not this app. Also definitely slow. When you scroll through 50 shirts and the choose one to look at, when you're done, you have to scroll through 50 shirts again rather than return to where you left off. Definitely needs some work on the functionality, speed, and navigation but it's a pretty captive audience, so we'll see what happens.......

This app used to be very fast and helpful but now it moves really slow. I can't always go back to the last screen without exiting the app all together. If I click the "Show More" option nothing happens and the same thing happens sometimes when I'm trying to select a different size. I guess I'll stick to shopping in store. This was just so much easier on busy days.

Absolutely useless!! Apparently, this app has no support, and the developer needs to go back to school to figure out how to do their job. The app kind of used to work. Now, the app will not even load past the opening logo screen. I've deleted and reinstalled the app. Cleared out data cache. Rebooted device. The app just doesn't work!!

Can't log in. I changed my password on the website a few days ago because I couldn't log into the app. Website is fine, tried logging into the app, says invalid name or password. Contacted support, they said it may take a few hours to sync. Tried multiple times over the last few days, nothing, even after reinstall. I've had an account for years. Garbage app.

This app has zero usability testing done. The interface is useless as the normal function controls, like the ability to go back without exiting the program do not exist. I don't know who developed this trash but dxl should FIRE THEM. It's also incredibly slow. You better find help somewhere if you decide to add a filter cause you are going to be waiting for quite a while. Performance in the application is non-existent. Good thing they still have stores because they would go broke otherwise.

There's less items to choose from. I was checking items from an email they sent me and I found a bigger selection there. I'm going to delete this app and even though I've had a very hard time trying to place my order. I guess I will have to call them to place it. What a waste of time. They could honestly do alot better. Not just with the website but, their discount offers and prices too.
