awesome game its similar to moonshades but I think this one is better so far there is still limited space available but it's not that expensive to make it bigger and you can get the gems free by playing it to do so plus I like the way it feels theres plenty of gear and upgrades to get so stop reading this and play it

My rating: 2.5 ...and I'd happily give this 5 stars if the mobile gaming monetization wasn't in place. There's no place for it in a fairly balanced, Old Skool RPG. I purchased the ad free option... which lasts for 7days! that's sad. Uninstalled- and I better not get charged again for the "ad-free" version in a week...

I came to Duskfall from Moonshades, which is by far my favorite game ever. DF is an engaging game and I'm looking forward to playing more kevels. Peaks: I love having 4 party members, requires a lot of admin time for folks who like well thought out gear and attributes. Downfalls: I prefer Moonshades combat to the turn based, there is a larger learning curve here making things like character management more time consuming, the arcane box is not as user friendly as the cauldron from Moonshades.

Overall, this is a great game. I have found the Discord server very helpful, and in a couple of situations essential to move forward in the game. This is a plus and minus. Probably the greatest plus is if you're willing to watch the 20 ads each day, you will be rewarded with a decent amount of useful resources (including gear). So, technically, this is a free game (I haven't spent any money yet). I'm excited for the new content.

The game is held back with stuff told to you way later then you needed to hear it. Like you can salvage items into upgrade parts instead of selling them for like 2-20 gold or just not at all like if every character has magic find talent does it stack? The second character gets turn points from dex but he is a mage. So magic archer??? Even if you invest wrong the game is pretty generous monster wise. You only struggle on bosses. Still a great game. I appreciate the effort

amazing fun old-school rpg. definitely not p2p, but buying $2-6 helps get started and gives the developer some well-earned reward. In response: it can be hard to gain loot if you accidentally get too far ahead in level, which can happen if it takes some time figuring out quest puzzles. Also in fight mechanics, I was surprised that my melee attacks could reach opponents' back row when there was still a front row in place.

so far its very different to what im used to but i like the game and the fighting. its not regular walking but its not bad like you wont see your character and its like moving one block at a time in a set area but alot of things are interactive and you get to explore more than i thought. all around different but i like it

Absolutely delivers on its intent via the old-school 1st-person dungeon-style RPG! I'm impressed! Its simplicity, second-to-none loot system/classification, skills, gaming engine, GUI, and progression system are exccellent as well. A strong recommend for all who want a return to nostalgia.

Insanely good so far but chill with bag space and insane amount of items. I get it, you want people to spend. I am glad there's not much paid but does every material need to take up space? I get it's a free game but in moonshades it was annoying but at least manageable. Sucks to give it a low rating but be prepared to make a few purchases the first 5 minutes of the game. I will say this is a extreme step up from moonshades in a good way. Nicely done.

I like the style, old school kind of crawler. Im in early game but its promising. There are a few quirks I'm less than excited about, but easy for me to ignore (example swipe to move/turn defaults to inverted & some items provided for learning are hard to manage if you figured out what it teaches before you use the item.)

it's alright to play, not enough encounters to gain levels, liked it last year but nothing new has been added, the gold and other collectables from stones don't do anything, it's good to play once a week, but not worth spending money on. hopefully creator will add something new, just replaying same thing over again is boring.

I think this should be one of the few games that should be used to set the standard on mobile gaming quality. It's a breath of fresh air and allows players (like me) who never played this sort of old school RPG style before a try, I think the mechanics, combat, puzzles, and skill/crafting system are all 10/10. The game has been made with a lot of care, and I think it more people should try it.

Not sure how I can compliment the main storyline without spoilers but the blue crystal to bowl was amazing! Reminds me of wizardry 8 at times which is probably the highest compliment I can offer. The difficulty of the quest is a bullseye, factoring in that it's a phone app + RPG of this format; It offers the perfect degree of true adventure RPG questing and within a reasonable time/difficulty. Thank you for all of your work and dedication! Play Genghis Khan (NES) not RPG but unique ideas, js

Well done. So far, one of the closest to being what the old PC games were like back in the good old days of serious RPGs. I don't know why some of these game designers believe it is normal to have wings and weapons 10 times the size of the person weilding it. We need more games like this one. I don't need or want to play with multi players who buy everything they have and stab you in the back literally. Great job, guys!

After Moonshades (itself a really fantastic game) this is in some ways better, some not (yet, its early dev still). I do like the turn based battle system better, and like the group dynamic but wish it was optional to accept new party members (and hopefully more member choices later, or at least randomize them). Would like option to turn off tutorial. As always, the optional video ads are the prefered way to support the Dev, thank you! Really looking forward to seeing this amazing game finished!

This game is Amazing. Creative story lines, graphics that enhance the mood of each setting , challenging enough to be interesting but not so much that it's frustrating and long enough that you can set your own goals and achieve them. There is mystery, a development of characters, heroic feats to be accomplished and fun chances to create weapons. What more could you ask for? Keep adding to it. Wonderful

Ambush needs some work. While facing the correct direction with an enemy that is turning around a corner, it triggers an ambush against me instead of me ambushing the enemy. Otherwise, a solid but extremely short game. EDIT: Took a decent amount of time to beat the elite levels. I enjoyed the challenge. Looking forward to more content!

I got stuck in moonshades when an update stopped me from being able to get the key to continue. but I had started that game when it first came out. this one is very similar. but it's new. so I figured I would try this. moonshades always felt so stuffy. I'm happy to see this has some outdoor locations. and as always. Great job keeping the old school rpg feel. love it. Please release more levels soon! :)

2 problems that I have 1)By this stage of the game (finding the mayor's bro.) I've only seen I think 5 recipes for the arcane box & I'm pretty sure there's alot more out there. I've looked online but nothing gives the answer to the actual question. Also why don't the vendors sale recipes. (Kinda stupid to pick a bunch of different 🌼s & different colored rocks with no clue on how to use them.) 2) When U ambush an enemy they shouldn't get the ability to attack twice in next round.

Being able to easily & accidentally spend your premium currency in the store with one-click-buy buttons, with no further confirmation screen, is insanely scummy. This UI design choice stems from either incompetence or malice by the single developer that works on this game, and I'm hoping it's the former and will be corrected soon.
