You'll work hard as cute, hapless explorer Noob in this silly and satisfying roguelike survival adventure, a fresh addition to the smash hit "Dumb Ways to Die" series. After taking a wrong turn, you're lost in the wild with nothing but your wits (or lack thereof) to rely on.
Gather resources as you explore interactive environments full of dangerous and delicious wildlife, crafting or cooking everything you need to survive, and navigate home to Beanland. If you find a dumb way to die, pick yourself up and start your adventure again!
CREATE YOUR OWN (SILLY) TOOLKIT
Use the plants you harvest and resources you collect to craft helpful survival items and weapons, from fishing nets to frying pans. Be warned: Things will get goofy! You never know when a guitar or a giant candy cane will come in handy to defend against all feisty fauna around you.
FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE
Hunt or battle all kinds of critters, including birds, bears and maybe even extraterrestrials. With real-time action, stay nimble and observe animals' attack patterns to learn when to strike or retreat. And if you die, roguelike gameplay means the adventure continues: You'll respawn at your campsite with a little more wisdom for the next encounter.
DEVELOP YOUR CAMPING POWERS
Construct and upgrade buildings like the Forge and Juice Bar to craft new items and maximize your chances of survival with help from your bean friends. As you progress through the game, log accomplishments in your Handbook and earn Scout Badges that offer special benefits.
BRAVE THE ELEMENTS
Brace yourself for unpredictable weather patterns, each with their own gameplay effect. As the sun rises and sets, will you sleep safely through the night or venture out into the darkness and discover something… mysterious?

Funny RPG. Unfortunately, the story is quite thin. More important, I was in the 2nd chapter and the phone battery died; my character found himself in the base camp, with inventory intact, but with all the NPCs amnesic - they would remember just one recipe for food or equipment, and useless ones for that matter. Uninstalled.

Cute graphics and a promising game, only that it keeps on lagging and crashing. One time when it loaded back, it was missing some of my progress so i did missions again. But the lost progress can't be redone so I can't proceed to the next level/location. :(( I hope this will get fixed cause i genuinely enjoyed the game.

After I got to the cave to get the wheels, the game won't load anymore. It opens and after a while closes abruptly and a notification says 'this game has a bug' and to clear the cache. But nothing changed. I un-installed and re-installed but still not opening anymore. Other than this, it was fun while it lasted 🤷♀️

Really enjoyable game but it's so glitchy and laggy, saving is a nightmare, it just times out 90% of the time, and my character is now stuck because the movement controls have stopped working. Each time a day passes the new day banner gets stuck on the screen... Could be such a brilliant game if these issues got fixed!

Ever since I first heard the song on 2012, I can honestly say it's one of my favourite songs ever! I was browsing on Netflix and saw there's a game Dumb Ways to Survive, I immediately downloaded it and within playing (NOT continously without stop of course), I finished in three days.. It is a good fun game! Well done everyone who's made this into reality and hopefully there's a Dumb Ways to Survive 2 🥰

Update: after updating this game... Still it's unplayable :( After doing some progress and exploring the map, the game is unplayable right now, very laggy and fps drops to almost freezing. Hoping for an immediate fix and update for this game soon. It's a good and fun game but unplayable even on early stages after getting those beams for fixing those bridges.

The game experience is great but the game still has some bugs here and there such as one of your campsite buildings losing all cratable items and and only having the starting beginner item this happened to my campsite builidngs with craftables and the only thing I could craft was the starting item despite having had almost everything unlocked just the last time I played this bug basically made me had to restart my game as I would have to pick up or collect all resources once again to unlock it.

Update: After uninstalling and re-installing the app, it still crashes. Tried the app even on my hubby's phone, worse, the app closes instantly. So sad. ******* Love playing this game however, the app keeps crashing and it's very laggy. You have to re-do the mission after it crashes. My phone is updated, running in the latest android OS version. Security patch is updated also.

Everything was going fine until I close the app, and after a while, when it opens, my character is beneath all layers and stuck. I can't get it out from wherever it is in and it dies. I lose my count on the days I was surviving and I think that's why the game is called like that. I'm giving up after the train station Fase. It was going fine.

I really liked the game, but it's a bummer that it's riddled with bugs. Unfortunately, I've had the same experience with many Netflix games (moonlighter, townsmen...). They are quite fun and interesting, but they have so many bugs that I end up giving uninstalling them before finishing them. I hope the devs reviewed these games. But I think they kinda forget about them after Netflix purchases the rights...

I love this game so much but the bug is the worst. And no one could help me. I was behind the game interface and unable to move where I wanna go. I gave up. I tried to contact agents on Netflix customer service support but none of them could help me. I tried to uninstall and install back the game but still the same. I tried rebooting my phone and same not fixed. Pls fix this game as soon as possible. It is such a waste when a good game like this have so many bugs.

The game itself is great but it has bugs. I'm stuck under the map right now. Several others online have commented on this particular bug. Update: let hunger kill me, and now time doesn't pass in-game. I'm stuck in perpetual morning. Did they rush a release before proper testing? It's a real shame because the premise is amazing, and the animation, and gameplay. You can see the game devs worked really hard.

Had to edit my previous review. At first, I experienced a lag and glitch in the first location. After having difficulty loading the game, just had to update it. It was smooth afterwards. The game is very interactive. Kind of hard esp the last location. Also had difficulty locating the ways to a certain point. But still suprised that the game is finished after the fourth location. Now I just had to just enjoy the game 'around the world' location.

Update: thanks for fixing the game, no more lags, glitch or freezing. I finally finished the game. but went to finish the handbook challenges. On May 2, when I open the game again. noob the character suddenly turned dark, and i was able to walk on off limit places like the platform above the maze, i can even walk on lava. then i tried to save the game, when i return back. i can't get down from there. pls fix it. Thank You

Fun and funny, I was enjoying it until this bug with compounding hunger effects stopped me on the winter level. I tried playing through again, and this time I ran into a bug with the extra storage patch. Update: The third attempt to play it through, I made it to the end, though the final level did crash on my device a few times. Apart from the bugs, it is cute and entertaining.

Love it except for this big bug that I know others have encountered, I was in the ice area for a little bit then I somehow fell through the map and became invisible, once I died I respawned in normal but then my food started going down to the point where I die within a minute and can't get anything done, I would love to keep playing but because of this im stuck and can't do anything else, otherwise it would be 5 stars

NEWEST EDIT: Numerous bugs and glitches (such as a thirst glitch that makes you die almost instantly) Have made the game unplayable. 1/5 EDIT 5/12/34: Midas touch badge doesn't work and doesn't seem like there are any fixes. Not a huge issue but annoying since on the level I'm on gold is hard to come by. Amazing game; the art is simple and true to the original dumb ways to die-the gameplay is chill and satisfying, with plenty of content for a game that just released.

I like it. My biggest gripe about it would be that I think the game would feel better to play with controller support. Also, friendly advice for other players, you'll probably want to crank up the joystick sensitivity. I was having trouble getting him to run, and increasing that seemed to fix it. For the most part, I think it's a really good game. Definitely on the must play list for fans of games like Don't Starve and The Survivalists and stuff like that!

I changed to a five star because the dev seems to take feedback well. I like it, just wish the camp building and crafting was more like don't starve. I don't like it being so linear as it is. but I enjoy seeing more survival games with cooky worlds. it doe kinda go against itself, like you obviously aren't scared of beans and wolfs but it's fun still. again crafting could be better implemented, maybe less collectathon and more factorio or mindustry. idk good luck

Fun game, but soooo many bugs. When I go to save my game it'll show the load screen forever and eventually I have to just shut down the app. Sometimes when I open the app, it'll send me back HOURS worth of progress. Finally gave up on this app because the joystick function stopped working. I can't move anywhere. I tried saving, force closing, even dying, but nope, nothing.
