This is my first time using the app and I had accidentally added a second of the same item. App was not allowing me to reduce quantity in EDIT option, so I contacted agent through live chat. I was pleased to receive agent response in a relatively short amount of time. He, after gathering all my info, made the adjustment and told me to refresh the page to see desired results. From there it was a relatively smooth checkout. Hopefully, this is now fixed.

The performance is atrocious. Loading a page, applying a filter, attempting to check out takes seemingly forever. Multiple errors trying to reach the checkout screen. This, coupled with the fact that previous searches with filter preferences aren't cached, make shopping super difficult. Then, when attempting to apply the promo code, rather than having the option to quickly apply it, you have to go back, wait for the page to load, and copy the code over.

Update: 5 months later, the app is still very slow. The PayPal payment option doesn't work well inside the app (tip: click the 3 dots and Open in system browser). I want to like the app, but it's not reliable. It's slow, filtering often doesn't work, database errors, etc. I still use it, but I'm much more likely to just use the website if I'm near a computer.

Very slow and glitchy. Takes forever to get back to previous screen and check to make sure you picked everything correctly. To make changes I had to start over from scratch. It also doesnt keep favorite store for pick up and randomly chooses another store to deliver shoes to. You have to cancel the order and reorder. If the item is no longer on sale you are SOL. You also lose any coupons or discounts , they wont gove them back.

It's a good app, not great. It freezes a lot. And at times you can't add things to favorites by clicking on the heart. I also had trouble adding things to cart. It also did not let me add a coupon that was specific to my account, had to get on the browser and apply it through there. I finished the order through the app and everything else worked fine. It is good to update the app when you do things on the website

I had a hard time with checking out. When I would press pay now it added a second pair of shoes. Then I tried to edit the amount I couldn't change the amount. I had to remove my.order twice then reorder. When I tried to pay the app kept telling me there was a problem with paying. Finally got it to allow me to pay. Wow! what an issue. This was my first time using the app to place an order.

The app is great, when it cooperates. When attempting to checkout, if I remove an item it doesn't recognize the change & will continue to show the previous total; even after I closed out the app & went back in. Had to uninstall the app/reinstall it. I'm most disappointed though, because the save to favorites function has stopped working in the app for me. can no longer just tap the heart to add an item to my favorites, have to add it to my bag & then move to favorites from my bag screen.

A good option for shipping on mobile device. Easy to shop by brand or category. Minor bug in checkout, where my name wasn't saved in the shipping address, which prevented checkout. I was able to figure it out, but the error message didn't give me any clue as to why it wasn't working the first time around. That could use a fix, especially since my name and address are linked to my VIP account.

It's nice to have an app. I love the self-checkout feature. However the app often doesn't recognize sign-in info even when trying to reset pw. When placing an online order, it keeps giving inaccurate messages about product availability. It's also frustrating that by default it requires you to ADD an address, instead of offering a selection from previously used addresses.

Really love this app makes it easy to order and it has a section for favorites. The only problem I have with this is that it doesn't load properly all the time which is annoying. I have to close it and reopen it for correct info or sometimes it doesn't load at all it just spins. I love DSW and have been a member for 9 years now and love the perks and discounts.

I'm glad there is an app, but it can be fine tuned. When I run a search then filter by preferences, if I click an item I want to see, click back when done, it takes me to the home screen and I need to restart my search again. My work around is to click the heart (favorites) on items to review later on the favorites page, unlike website. Also, gray out sizes, colors and widths if they are not available; items currently display, when you try to add the item then you get not available.

I last rated this app back in mid 2018. It is now early 2021, March 2021, to be exact. There have been some application improvements that allow much better navigation and logical moving about without losing your place after having a need to return/back up after having selected a required menu option or searching. It is a bit more intuitive and does not lock up or exit the application or menu selection as it once did on a consistent basis. I rate it 4 of 5 stars.

App works well, at least for my phone it does. Sometimes I have to logout & then log back in for the cart to have the correct total when checking out. Also it still has some issues with items no longer available, but still showing in the app. Not sure how that could be corrected. Maybe it's a cache issue with the website as most shopping apps pull from their websites.

The app is full of bugs. While trying to check out I was trying to update my billing address but no matter how many times I updated it, it would not save. I went to my profile and completely deleted the old address but even after that when I went to checkout it still kept pulling up my old address. Extremely frustrating.

I have been a member of DSW for years, and therefore free shipping is a perk. I was surprised to see that the default for my account was 2 day shipping even though I've never selected it before. I don't mind waiting for my shoes. Also, I had trouble adding shoes to my cart. I'm guessing there are a few bugs that need to be fixed. I also don't like the new "Place Order" feature. To be fair it had been a while since I purchased through the app, but it seems wonky.

This is my favorite shop to buy my shoes. Shoes are reasonable prices, and the perk rewards program is my favorite! It is one of the best rewards programs I enrolled in. Moreover, you can donate our gently use old shoes, so it can be useful for someone in need. Thank you. Finally, the app has some problems when you try to order. Need to fix these issues asap. Otherwise, people will be disappointed with a great shoes shop.

LOVE DSW; not so much the app (although it's better than the website). The problem with the app is that sometimes I can't easily add items to my cart. For example, accessories category: if you are in product details, the add to cart link is missing, so you must return to category results and use the quick add button. Unfortunately, not all available colors are linked to quick add, so you can't always get the color of your choice. (It reverts when you go back to results.)

Love the app. Easy to find what you need. You can locate your orders and get free delivery depending on how much the shoes are. I don't like that if I get something shipped to store they can cancel and I don't even get a notice or email. Just happened 2x with my order. I had to reorder and thankfully it was free shipping this time.

Shopping is easy, and navigating the site is fine. Pictures are plentiful and helpful. However, I experience issues with loading pages and connecting to PayPal petty frequently. If I click on a shoe, sometimes I get an error message, and no matter how many times I go back and try again, it won't load. What happens then is I get frustrated and just close the app... meaning I don't buy the shoes.

The app works fine, but it's really dumb that I can only favorite 30 pairs of shoes at a time. I'm buying new clothes and shoes for myself every chance I get. My daughter needs new shoes every few months, it seems. Asking the shoes i like to my favorites list isn't affecting inventory, so why does there have to be a limit to what I can save?!?!
