Chose "Drum Kit" at beginning because I want to develop my skills there from hand percussion, keyboards (and unquantized drum pad programming/production, live gigging). Attempted change to a more familiar interface of "Drum Machine". But THAT requires "Pro" SUBSCRIPTION. ($39.99/yr, $5.99/mo). It can't swing to save it's missing soul. Other users tried to simulate via triplets, sextuplets, 8ths, 16ths, etc. Zero stars from me. I'm deleting my account after testing and listening to library.

I installed it and it crashed already 3 times in 10 minutes. It could be interesting but it is very limited and demands payment for poor samples and provides too little instruments for free. Not worth it.

So far this app seems to do what I wanted it for. I can come up with drum scores when not at my drum set and then work on them more later without forgetting my original idea. No bugs yet after about an hour playing around on it.

Keeps crashing... I can be in the middle of editing an existing rhythm that I created earlier and then it will just crash on me... Its a shame Because it seems like something I was looking for... Like a Notepad for musicians...

Man this is the app you wanna have when you want to create your drum tabs! Just installed it and it's easy to use. I'm just starting drums and I can't distinguish the parts of drums being played on the song so I wanna write it down instead. This is very helpful

The capacity to transcribe any moderately advanced drum concepts is extremely limited. It's made very clear that to write quintuplets you must subscribe. For beginners and people who want to pay for a very basic transcription app this could be helpful. But that's not made clear in the description, purchases are revealed once you download it. Many will be disappointed.

This is a great app and it has allowed me to visualize and create beats that I use in gigs and practice with my band. I would like to go premium but don't want a subscription. Please add an option for one time purchase for pro. This is only reason for 4 stars.

I paid for the full version and it's exactly what I was looking for. just something to quickly jot down ideas, sound out drum parts or just goof around. Sometimes it crashes but it does save before it crashes so you can resume where you left off

I was looking for a percussion app I'd use to help study advanced nieche stuff such as polyrythms, 5-plets, 7-plets and so on. Drumap seems to have most of what I require albeit under a very expensive renewable premium. This is bad because android apps can't compete with the resourcefulness nor practicity of even decade-old desktop counterparts, which are typically much cheaper (and only payed for once) Far too expensive for an app to be used sporadically as a secondary portable on-the-go aid.

Doesn't save my drum transcription properly, seems to be a bug where every 3rd beat is missing every time which is so annoying ☹️😑 Please devs respond 🙏

Lost half from one of my ritms because the app can't handle the numbers of instruments (9 in total, basically the essential for samba). Now, half of the instruments are there, the other half is missing, and one of them shows only the first 2 tempos. After that, I can only see the gray base line w out the notes.

When i write the note, and I touch the bar button, it can't touch the bar button. Worse app

No real drum notation, only limited granularity of 1/4th notes. No export in free version. Replay sounds very technical. Only 3 self created rhythms to save in free version. In app purchases and ads included.

trying to develop a system for practicing polyrhythms on drums. This app is helping me keep it all together. It can be tedious and it's fairly simplistic in terms of notation but for creating pracrice pattern loops it's perfect for me. Moreover, the developers are clearly putting the monthly subscription money to use and making constant functionality improvements to the app. They are also very open to critiques and suggestions. I don't mind paying because there is nothing like it on mobile.

Get beats out of your head right now. Limitations with length, kit and individual instrument sounds, no midi export, no way to create a song from arrangement of multiple patterns... And rigid array of available time signatures. However for a basic app when you have ideas, this works well. Would love to see more capabilities for being a premium subscriber.

Very well designed app for beginners as well as advanced musicians. Drum sound timbres and kits are comprehensive of many of the world's genres. Minus one star because its pro version is by "subscription" which these days equates to a "generic trash" business model imo because it blatantly robs the consumer, which means its totally okay creating an extremely unsatisfied customer base. The app is charging you a thousand times its value only to rent use of it, when Muscore is open source (free).

This app is great for my high school marching drumline. I love using it because I can make drumline music for the line. I like making long peices of music. But the problem is that if I make it too long, the app slowes down and sometimes crashes within 30 - 40 measures. Sometimes it doesn't even save. It would be great if it was fixed. But other than that, there is no other app out there that has FREE marching drumline instruments that I could use. I hope to hear back from you guys!
