So temperamental! Signs out randomly and I need to access my computer to reconnect. Which sometimes works first time, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes struggles with auto fill, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes syncs when I update a password on another device, sometimes doesn't. And so on. I want to love this app. Please keep improving it!

Login is horrible. Using finger print biometric, screen flashes rapidly on and off continuously until you apply fingerprint. As an exercise I clicked on Use Password - didn't work at all, only biometric. Sure it's BETA, but Dropbox needs/has to better than to release something like this, especially with the money they make!!! WAIT FOR PRODUCTION RELEASE...

C'mon dropbox, you've had poor reviews for over 12 months now and the app is still having the same old problems. App is temperamental, works one minute, fails to load the next minute. Considering cancelling my subscription as a result. Free password managers do a better job.. Other cloud service providers will too. Time to fix all the bugs and crashes in the system!

Free password keepers work better than Dropbox Passwords for which I actually pay via my Dropbox subscription. On Android, websites are not recognized and need to be looked up from your list in order to select the correct password. 'localhost' websites are not recognized at all, so they don't even show the Dropbox password icons there in the username and password inputs. Support does not handle issues. Instead they simply say it will be solved in the next release to get rid of you. Off course with the next release the issue is still there. Dropbox guys ... perhaps open your eyes and look at what others offer vs what you offer.

Well, good idea but many things are missing. And it's very slow... Maybe I'll give it another chance later when most of the common password manager features will be implemented (secure notes, attachments, folders...). In addition, the app/site matching is pretty bad (must be improved by matching part of the url field, or name for example).

Better apps out there. Auto fill does not always work. The app does not go past the logo screen. Requires restart of app several times for it to work. Thought it was my phone but changed phone twice in the last few months and all the phones have the same issue. If I did not use Dropbox daily i would not use this App. The PC version on the other hand works perfectly.

The app crashes in the background preventing auto fill from working and causing the entire device to hang should you try and open it. After a short while hanging on the splash screen, it crashes properly allowing it to be reopened. This behavior has been consistent since I started using Dropbox Password around a year ago and still has not been fixed. Autofill performance is also subpar when compared to the competition. This is on a Snapdragon 888 with 12GB RAM. Not a hardware limitation issue.

Very basic features, no master password, crashes often, syncing (between android and Windows at least) doesn't work, signing in with app authorisation doesn't work (need to dig up my 12 recovery words every time I set up a new device). If this app doesn't get better by next year I'm terminating my DB Plus subscription and switching over to something that actually works and suits my needs.

Useless. Keeps asking to add other devices, but I want to use it only on my phone. Plus, it never auto login to sites I added to the app. Using Dropbox for years, but this is useless. Better focus on adding search options for photos/videos to the main app, because it takes forever to go back to 10+ years (when you have tens of thousands of photos/videos). Uninstalling.

Have used this on Samsung S7 phone and it works well. Now have transferred to Samsung S9 with Android 10. When asked for permission to connect, the notification goes to the other device(PC) and I click the connect and nothing happens. Then say have no device and use the recovery words. "Oops there is an error please try later." Well I've waited 3 days. Thought that should be long enough but no. Uninstalled the app and tried again still no luck. Have been using Dropbox for many years and am very disappointed with this app.

Hopeless. Three different versions of passwords on three different devices, with no possibility to synchronise. The 'Connect a device' option sends an email to ask you to install an app which is already installed, then results in an unkown error. Pretty poor considering what the yearly fees for Dropbox now are. If you send feedback you get an automatic reply saying that the issue was resolved, and asking for your feedback. The world has gone mad.

Not sure about this one. Installed on my Galaxy S8. Everytime I attempt to open, when app open screen opens up and ask for my biometric the screen starts flickering/flashing like crazy. Once I log into the app, it stops it's crazy flickering. As far as I can tell its features work. Login seems to create instability in the app. New app, probably wouldn't recommend until stable and kinks worked out.

Not thrilled with this app. More often than not it won't recognize login pages so you have to open the app manually and copy/paste your info, or copy/paste new info into it. Also every time you open the app you've got to pass a security measure. I know it's for safety but because it doesn't often recognize logins, you have to switch back and forth a lot. There are much better password keepers; the ONLY reason I'm using this one is because it comes included with a Dropbox account.

Rarely prompts to autofil passwords. I can still manually go to the app and double check my password, but I've had other password managers in the past that had no issue recognizing username and password boxes and promoting for autofil. I was able to import my passwords without issue. But, I'm about ready to go give my money to the competition. So perplexed how it is this clunky.

Unless you like to force stop apps constantly... trash this. I have to stop and restart several times to get my $1400 Samsung to open this app and prompt for fingerprint. IF that works sometimes the app opens and sometimes it crashes, repeatedly. Closing it doesn't help much and it sucks up resources from some awful coding memory leak until I force quit or restart. I type this with 10-20 second pauses every few letters because of such a leak. A year of this is enough. They aren't fixing it.

It's ok. It saves passwords and will usually offer to generate new ones. It doesn't automatically auto-fill, I still have to search for the account and manually select it, and then it will auto-fill. This is my first attempt to move off of wholly Google ecosystem, and the compromises are greater than I was expecting. There's no credit card saving support (surely dropbox is pci compliant and can tokenize CIM random hash? If even necessary?) and no idea if sync intervals or option to manual sync

Update 2: The desktop and mobile versions are no longer syncing. Update: I finally tried the auto fill feature on mobile again, and it works much better. Original review: Works well on desktop, but I can't get the app to Auto fill on my phone. I went and changed all my passwords using the randomizer, but now have to toggle back and forth between the app I'm trying to log into and Passwords to copy my password and paste it into the app I'm trying to log in to.

I expected better from Dropbox. This app is more than useless on top of being intrusive. There is no obvious way to import passwords from my current password manager. I would have to manually enter all of them into this app. I had to keep the old one installed but I found that the Dropbox app pushes the other out of the way even though it doesn't have a password for that site. Deleting. Get LastPass (free and works).

Works great on iOS. Buggy and annoying on Android. On Android if you autofill on a website and navigate back to the passwords app later, the app will close when you click on an account. This bug should've never made it to production. Would rate 1 star, but despite it's flaws, it's one of the better password managers. I do like that it has 2FA codes and that it's interface is easy to navigate. I also like that you can back up your encryption key to a physical medium for extra security.

The worst experience ever, I could not login to the Dropbox password app with any of the alternative options after getting a new phone. The not have the phone recovery. The only option was to reset the account, which, of course, erased all of my passwords. I now have to start painfully over. If you have a Samsung phone, I would advise using the Samsung Password app instead. This way, if you ever lose or need to chang the phone, you won't lose all your passwords.
