Had bad review up, but just saw the game is not even at version 1.0. The game is fun and I really like it, but I would prefer to mention the issues here, atleast some of them. Collision has a lot of issues. Locked aim sometimes locks your character in 1 direction for a bit. Inventory is too small, about double would be good. Can't drop items. Item's spawn on the end hole and drop down before you can get them. If you stand in a chest when it opens, items might fly off the map. 500 text limit 😐.

Played for a few times & so far I'm enjoying it. PROS: Mix of roguelike & dungeon crawler gameplay, multiple equipments to choose from, & different item drops & stage buffs. CONS: old school polygon aesthetic that feels dated, very large GUI that makes things look crowded, finally the somewhat janky & forceful controller scheme (would be good if I can hide those). I can still see a lot room for improvement, at least for gameplay. As for design, the low polygon model doesn't seem to fit right.

The game isn't half bad at all, the premise of a destructible environment in a hack and slash is rather refreshing and on mobile no less. However the destructible environment is also a downfall as you trip on it constantly. The combat is the weak point, its a learning curve and not because its hard, but rather because it feels unusual to predict the exact range you need to be to hit a target. The game is fun, and with changes to make combat feel much more fluid, it could be great!

People cry over clunky controls but the fun is in there. It is the softcore version of a PC hac&slash game in which your character ragdolls everything. I mean your sword gets stuck in the door so you cant attack. During tutorial I tried to attack a wall and realise I can damage it. After a couple of attacks it broke and I run and fell off the map. Then realised that I skipped my way to the 1 level completely bypassed tutorial by mistake x)

Love it ! It is fun and interactive, constantly leaves you wanting to play more and more , I like that you can play without having to pay! The armour and weapon durability could use an Over haul tbh I'd love to see it not in the game hate when i lose a weapon I love because the durability goes really fast, would also be nice to position stuff on the screen ourselves so it's optimal for individual play style, keep on adding and updating! So Far So Dang GOOD! LOVE IT ....!

I really like this game a lot but I think that it would be really cool if there were secret passeges so that if you break serten walls they would lead to more powerful weapons and armor and rings or something like that that would give special abilities to yourself or your weapons and hidden bosses to fight and that there where weapons, armor as well as shields that have unlimited durability so they would not break especially during a boss fight or at least not as quickly

Its pretty well thought out so far. I like how you have multiple options on how to progress. I have an idea, improve the games already great replay value. You could provide an option before the run, that gives the player one ability for the run that scales with rank but doesn't change. Like a healing spell, or stun, or the ability to repair an item for energy cost. Ect. Also I can't trade at merchants and keys don't seem to work. Am I doing it wrong?

Just started playing this game & really enjoying it so far. I like that the levels aren't long but enough action & items on each. I also like that you get a perk before each level that stays with you. Don't know if it will change as you level up, but the backpack is too small. The option to drop an item/remove from the backpack would be very useful. I don't find the ads intrusive. I feel the game is as described

Overall delivers mostly what it promised. While most environment pieces are destructible, not all are. They do warn you off the start that the game itself is difficult and you will die. So unless you're kind of a masochist or a dark souls fan you may not like that. Control is fairly straightforward. Graphics aren't the best, aren't the worst. No camera control from what I've seen yet. Solid 4* with room for improvement.

Uniquely amazing, and amazingly unique! Like many others though, I strongly suggest something manual the player can adjust on each rank up.. otherwise, there isn't as much to strive for, and have as short term goals, as I would love to have because I want so bad to want to keep playing for long periods of time, but it starts feeling like there aren't enough rewards I can allocate. But yeah, especially for each rank, or level, up.

All the rewards you can claim starts a ad that takes control of the phones volume control and blast the ad at max volume. There is no way to get around this or setting to disable to stop it from happening. Even the audio mute button located in the ad itself does nothing to stop the blasting audio coming out of the ad itself. The volume does respond correctly in game outside the ad but I cannot support or rate more then a single star for the fact they designed this game to take control

There are some mechanics hang ups on controls and hit boxes. But i enjoy both the game and the grind. Crazy random events and good mix of levels/enemies. Frustrating when you fall and die b/c you have to fall to get to next level so sometimes unsure when breaking through walls if falling is going to kill you or advance you. Love the sneak attacks ! Adds to the choice of strategy. I am hanging on to this one for a while longer.

This game is AWESOME. It definitely has some rough edges though. Weapons that auto-break walls causing you to fall off the map is particularly frustrating. Or even the fact you can run through walls and explode everything with the light sword... a bit ridiculous. Bosses are often too easy. Improving boss mechanics or item balancing would help. I'm sure you'll iron all this out over time! The art and ambience of the game are incredible. Looking forward to seeing this game grow!

Coming back to this game a couple years later, I love it now that it's more fleshed out. Totally controller supported, which ya love to see in an action hack and slash like this. There's a lot more balance to enemies now. One tip; make sure you utilize the weapons you have. They don't have a ton of durability, but there are repair kits and you will find a variety of equipment. totally enjoying it this time around, though! If you like action roguelike RPGs, don't sleep on Dread Rune!

Only 4 stars because of beta. If it were ironed out a d fine tuned as a complete game in the direction its headed I'm sure it would/could be a 5 star game. Some of the physics/Interactions between my character and the environment tend to be strange with my teleporting to the top of objects and "falling" off of them or being launched from them like a cork under pressure. The buttons are a little less sensitive or maybe not placed 100% accurately on the UI. Small things that can be fixed. GJ!

Fun idea, but can't recommend in it's current state. Combat is extremely clunky, controls aren't too responsive, and it seems you need to watch ads at every corner to get better or as the developer said himself "master the games systems". There is also a hunger system which, in certain games works, but not these ones. Developer is actively working on the game, so stay tuned for changes.

I'll start by saying that there is no good reason to not give this game a try. It's a good roguelike dungeon run, with enough depth of play to allow for hack and slash or stealth. With an active and involved developer, I trust that the existing minor issues will be addressed. If you haven't tried it, just play it. That being said - the physics are sometimes a bit off? Chests may open at such a speed that accidentally standing on one as it opens may springboard you over walls to your death....

Similar to other reviews, the problem lies in the controls. Also being hit by attacks that are nowhere near you is frustrating. When choosing an ad for a reward, they're the most obnoxious kind, with multiple stages to the ad and they just go on forever. The game has to be great to pay to remove ads, and this just doesn't cut it as it stands now. Perhaps use a different ad service? Right now your game IS the ads.

The physics are a bit wonky at times, and the combat can be a bit iffy with the aim and hitboxes, but all in all this is a pretty solid game. I play a lot of roguelikes, and my very first run ended with killing the Final Boss, so it definitely has an approachable and agreeable initial difficulty. A bit of polish on the physics, and maybe some better tooltips for food items, such as how much they heal and recover hunger, and this game could easily be 5 stars.

Really fun game, love the rougelike gameplay and the item system and all that, controls are a bit wonky sometimes but I'm sure it'll keep getting better with more updates and whatnot, keep up the great work dev! :) I think it might make collecting stuff more rewarding if you could save up the red gems (or whatever the red crystals you get during runs are called) between runs since getting enough runes to upgrade stuff or buy new characters takes a while, and getting to save those up would be 👌.
