It was fine to play with breeding and buying dragons during events. It's like a gotta catch em all dragon edition which is great with the ability to decorate practically the entire area. However the crashing bug on the loading screen definitely kills the vibe of playing. No matter what I do when I open the app it continues to shut down. Could be a better game but it just fell a bit short .

Great game to kill time with. Been playing for 2 years and like all the improvements. If I had any suggestions, it'd be to add a "collect all cash" option. It would collect all dragon cash from your habitats, so you didn't have to scroll to each habitat individually. Edit: they added that feature I mentioned a few years back. So ayyyy. I just wish it didn't require another currency. But it is what it is.

Very good game with beautiful graphics and lots of amazing dragons. I've never had a problem with the game until now. I'm not sure if it's just my phone, but every since I built my 2 islands to be pretty big the game kicks me out! Most of the time it kicks me out of the app on the loading screen (my phone does that with other apps, but not nearly as much as it does with DragonVale) and a lot of the time I'll click something and it'll kick me out. Overall good game, but extremely buggy!!!

I played this way too much as a kid! Just saw it by chance in an ad, it's been atleast 4 years since I've last played. Lots of memories of coming home from school and checking if my upgrades or breeding was done yet. Masterpiece, so much to do and collect 🤌 See lots of complaints about the timers on stuff, for me it made the game kinda perfect. You kinda run out of stuff to do every login after a while. The timers helped me space out my playtime and keep it fresh when I played. I like it.

Update: I do enjoy the game, when it works right. This game is almost unplayable with the constant crashes right now. It's been 4 months since this started, and a farming game you can't get into, is pretty much useless. I tried clearing the cache, force stop and reopen, phone restarts. The only thing that works consistently is clearing all data, and reloading. Problem with this is I now have a new park I will never play and can't get rid of. Please fix this!

I really love this game. I've come back again and again despite losing my account twice. But lately, the game cannot stay connected. It is CONSTANTLY crashing! And today, when it crashed for the second time, it removed about 80 magic points for the event, even though all of the habitats had been collected! So it counted the gold but not the event currency! Quite annoyed. That "a wizard's spell went whonky" message was only funny the first 100 times.

Pretty awesome game! I've been playing it since I got my Facebook at 13! I love it, but, oftentimes the game won't load past the loading screen before it crashes, some days it takes me 10 tries to get into the game, other days like today I can't get in at all and that means you lose out on your event daily rewards, and then have to spend gems to get them the next time you log in. Very frustrating! But still worth it it's a great game

I like this game. I've been playing for a long time, but with my recent upgrade to a newer phone, the game crashes ALL the time. At very inopportune times as well, like right after finishing a race, before I can earn a prize. Keep this in mind before you go ahead and play. Besides that, this game is harmless dragon-collecting fun. In-game purchases are fully optional as are ads, meaning virtually nothing is locked off from you if you are willing to put in the time.

Email back flip all the time to add some features and most of the time the features appear within a few weeks! One of the best developers around! Update: had to drop a few stars. I've been playing this game for about 10 years. I'm starting to notice the pay to play coming into affect. Spinning reel during events is now rigged to almost always land on 5. There are other things too. This is disappointing!!!

I found this game last year through my cousin, and have scarcely missed a login day since. Amazing art style, fun animations, AND completely free. This is the kind of game that encourages you to take your time and do things however you'd like. I do wish there was a better park editing feature, though. Moving things and redecorating can be tedious at best. But overall, I love it. Will definitely be sticking around. :)

I realized that my old rating was based on Backflip studios. I have been playing this game on and off since it's inception. It seems Deca has returned the ability to still be able to breed any dragons and you are not forced to buy. This is what it used to be like playing. Now if we could just get Dragonvale World back, I'd be even happier!

Even after all these years, it's still a solid game. The only gripe I have if I'm being honest, is that it's behind the times when it comes to social games. Your friends can only be from your Facebook account, and you can't just visit any random park like you can in many other social games. If possible, I'd like the ability to visit any park, follow people whose parks I think are cool, and maybe have a guest book we can leave messages in. Anyway, as it is right now I can't rate this game higher.

The history of Dragonvale may be tarnished for life (Hasbro closing down the original developers to keep the Dragonvale IP), that doesn't mean the studio Hasbro hired to run the ship is at any fault. They've been doing great work at improving the game, making it more convenient & user friendly than ever to keep up and have fun with the core mechanics. Thanks to them, the game is still fun to this day, especially when the mobile gaming landscape seems to get worse every year.

Love the core game. Came back after a long break. 1) keeps force closing-no point if it won't load (happens more with kiddos additional accounts, not my primary). 2) minor gameplay changes, i.e., breeding rules back to a+a=a dragon not =b, c, or d. Add to or take off wishlist with 1 click instead of 3 for each. When I am selecting 2 to breed, letting me know how many "new" dragons I may be able to get (like: 2/4 = I have 2 of 4 possible combos w/ those dragons).

Hadn't played this game since 2016 after years of playing. Decided to download again and I just closed out of it and came to make a review after 15 mins of being FORCED to click this, open that, vote for this, place this summoning thing, etc. WITHOUT being able to bypass it. I don't even want to play the game anymore, THAT FAST. If someone is returning, skip the forced bs and let them explore changes on their own. I would've liked to become familiar with my park again, but now I'm not interested

This is a lovely game. It contains a lot of dragons, so I feel like I'm constantly making progress in collecting them. The game has activities to keep you engaged for a while, and while the game encourages spending, it's not required at all to collect all of the dragons. Support is very helpful if you do encounter problems. My only issue is that the game does sometimes crash on launch, and that loading times are a bit long, but it barely hinders the playing experience.

Been playing the game on and off for over a decade in all honesty, and absolutely love it. One thing that would make the game 1,000% better is being able to rotate things within the park. There's many different decorations, but due to the locked position it makes decorating your islands difficult. Rotation added will get it up to five stars for me!
