This Game is the bomb!!! However, when I complete offers to earn runes, after completing 3 of them, the game would take forever to load and by that I mean it dosent load in. After uninstalling it and reinstalling it (losing all of my data in the process) I was able to do some things but when I got toothless to level 10, it disconnected me from the game and wouldnt let me in! I tried everything, disconnecting the wifi then reconnecting it, restarting the wifi itself, force stopping the game, etc.

It's simple and enjoyable. There is a variety of features to use, the seasonal stuff keeps the game fresh, and I enjoy being able to come back to it around every 2 hours and have something to do and set up. The only issues I have are 1, the ascension scale things, they don't give enough unless you are giving a premium. And 2, the as limit is too small. Other than that it's great!.

MANY bugs. overall the game is fun and you can play it constantly, but still. on my first day of playing I encountered that sometimes when you watch a ad, it finishes and your screen goes black. you can still hear the noises and when you press menu you can still hear them too. I restarted my phone and went into the game. still black, no noises. later when I opened it again it asked me if I wanted to quit, it worked after that. and randomly the supplies bar disappears. please fix its stuck!!

I have been playing this game on and off for years, I still find it fairly enjoyable. I appreciate that ads are optional and you don't have to grind ridiculously hard for runes (the "higher" currency of the game). However, it bothers me that you can unlock islands and only need 65 vikings but you can't clear the debris till you have 1000+ which I find very frustrating since you're not actually unlocking the island. And the packs popping up on the screen all the time is annoying.

Played this for a year and wish I could give a better review. But since october the ad interface is a mess. Crashes 50% of the time, especially when apps automatically take you to the app store for some stupid reason (like wordscape) and sometimes this requires multiple restarts of the entire app and then another minute long advert just to get basic rewards.

1st this is an amazing fun game. With movie like graphics. My 14 year old got me and her sister in law hooked on it. The only problems we have are, we get kicked out a lot, multiple times per day. when we watch videos to buy down time, more often than not at the end of the video it glitches and kicks us out and we get no credit for watching it. IT IS WORSE SINCE YOU SAID FIXED. At least I can log in, but now every time we watch videos it crashes. Sometimes it takes 6/7 tries to get one to work.

It's like Dragon City but HTTYD!! I sometimes think I'm just playing a mod in Dragon City. It's got tons of dragons in the game. Cool rewards. Sweet music that changes and isn't always the same or constant (at least during events, seasons, or holidays). Dragon fights where you fight other dragons, plot and story. But my most favorite, the game even has little jokes or things that are down right related to the real HTTYD. I truly love this game!

I like this game but I feel that it is rigged. I understand that the developers need to make money somehow but it has taken me over 60 journeys to get an egg from the main dragons (I haven't gotten an egg yet from any other dragon but stormfly). Also, when I play gauntlet, I always seem to get a reward in the same spot every time (two spots away from the rookie pack) and the opponents seem to get random extra moves out of nowhere. I could be wrong, but the rates seem pretty bad.

Mostly a good game I do REALLY want to give this game 5 stars but I can't due to the unreliable nature of just trying to get into the game sometimes. I have MANY other games I play like this one and this game is the most frustrating. I have the most trouble getting into the game after an update and this causes missed daily rewards. I also frequently get kicked out of the game for watching an ad to speed up dragon training. I end up playing other games instead

I've played this game off and on for years. It's a great game to relax to, and the time element forces you to get off and go do other stuff. I do wish there was less pay-to-play. You could spend thousands in this game on dragons, packs, passes, items, and memberships. It's annoying sometimes to see advertisements for these ingame purchases while trying to navigate around.

App is pretty good so far, but it gets repetitive after awhile. It's obviously designed with the primary purpose to have users frequently interact with the app and always seeking/waiting which all is clearly linked to ad or purchase money for the developers. That is understandable, but could be dialed down a bit to make it less obtrusive. User age doesn't always factor into appropriate ads either (8 seeing adult color). There have been various bugs, but major ones are fixed fairly quickly.

I genuinely enjoy this game. I have played it before in the past. I have restarted though. What I do notice that I wish was different is the runes. It is a major form of currency, yet it is fairly hard to get. I just wish that it was a little easier to get runes considering that buying specific dragons is very expensive. Although, besides that the gameplay is very enjoyable. I love participating in the events that are always happening. There is practically every dragon imaginable to collect.

I think that this game is very scummy. For instance, whether you get outnumbered or you outnumber your enemies on the gauntlets, they will still get extra/double turns. It's very rarely this happens to you. So much for being a turn-based game😂 The dodging also works in their favor. I once had a single enemy dragon dodge 4X IN A ROW. The reward wheel also does not work. You can tell the animation resets in the middle of the "spin." Also had wood rewards 10x in a row. I'm not even exaggerating.

This game is a total cash grab. A lot of "deals" go for 100usd, and if you cancle a subscription, even after just paying for another month, you do not get access to the benefits. To make any significant progress quickly requires a lot of runes, which are not easy to get in considerable ammounts without either paying the subscription or buying them. I do not recommend.

I love this game. I have been playing for years. Now, the playable ads are ruining my enjoyment. You have to watch ads to achieve all of the daily and weekly tasks. The playable ads are crashing the game 3 out of 4 times now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and I don't have an old phone. If this doesn't get fixed, the cumulative frustration will probably cause me to quit this game. Fix the payable ads!!!

Overall, it's pretty good. Except that sometimes the gauntlets, Toothless exploration and journeys seem rigged. Makes progressing super slow, and it's not fun when you basically have to grind away to get one single dragon egg or item to finish a collection. It's not a great thing to toil away day after day without a reward for your efforts.

Over the years I have lost hundreds of dollars when doing in game purchases. I have let it slide in the past but today was the last straw. The reason I have let it slide in the past is, they make it very difficult to get a refund. Today I payed for a pass upgrade. I got an on screen message that said the the transaction had been cancled and I was not charged. "A flatout lie!" I was still charged 9.99 by google play and didn't receive my upgrade. Needless to say I am quite upset.

I did have some judgements about this app a while ago, but I've had it a few years now and I'd say it's gotten much better. Not 5 star because to get the really cool dragon packs you gotta drop like $70-$100. But my biggest issue is after everything I've tried, I can't watch ads in this game. It'll crash EVERY time. So I can't get the two game packs or speed up with the ads. Highly irritating 😞

The game itself is very fun, and there is a lot to do. I like how the game keeps you busy with tasks. It feels a bit pay-to-win, especially during events. I understand that you need to make money and limit your ads a lot. But it can be impossible for new players to get anywhere without spending money. The ads are weird, too. I will click on an ad to reduce time in a task,and it will say no ads available, so I will click out of that tab and immediately get a 1 min ad and receive no reward after.

reinstalled this for the first time in 10 years. It's a fun, cute, and simple game for httyd fans, nice to play casually a few times a day. my biggest problem is with the constant crashes when you try to watch a video for claiming free card packs/runes or your daily duties. the ads will crash the game 9 times out of 10 and your reward won't count as being claimed. I have to reload the app and rewatch ads over and over until I get an ad that doesn't crash it! I hope this gets fixed soon.
