fun game. lots of pressure to spend money and watch ads. but everyone has to keep the lights on. less glitchy advertising than a lot of other games I have played. still expect 3 to 4 taps before the pop-up goes away and X in the corner to be so small that it is impossible to get without accidentally opening the store on the first try.

Would be a lot better if the ads were mainly for rewards. I can't even play for 3 minutes without an ad popping up and ruining my experience. It is annoying to have to wait for an ad to end before I can finish collecting gold or playing an arena. Please find a way to fix this issue so I can actually enjoy the experience again. It all started after the 2nd week of playing

I got it for nostalgia purposes, but it's changed a lot. The constant deals that pop up are annoying, but my real only complaint is the excessive content. I feel like I'm being drowned in different special events, different islands you have to unlock, and even a weird clash Royale-esque battle style that just feels unnecessary. At it's core though it's a good game, with the coliseum battling and trying to unlock different dragons. Devs, please simplify it, I only need one battle mode, not 100

The game is cute, has different types of combat and many different dragons, altho the game takes liberty with the definition of "dragon". Biggest complaint is the ads. Not sure if it got worse cuz I levelled up or if that's just coincidence. I don't mind choosing to watch an ad to get a prize or speed up hatching eggs, but the game limits how many you can choose to watch, then interrupts game play to force additional ads on you! Got so bad I can't play more than 1min w/o ads. Had to uninstall.

The app has gotten difficult to play with crazy amounts of hanging up. Once it gets past the initial loading screen it takes forever for the dragons and buildings to load. The announcements freeze partially loaded. It seems frozen, and toggling between my phone's open apps screen and Dragon City seems to help it progress in incrementally. Sometimes making sure no other app are running helps, but not much. I don't know what changed but it's been happening for quite a while.

It is super fun, but there is one problem. It's that when u get a dragon egg, it takes like 18 hours ( literally) to hatch. But it also can be challenging or confusing at some times, but in any other way, I recommend it. No adds either!! The dragons are cool, but they cost a lot with the money in the game. U can buy things with real money, but the only thing that u really need to buy are diamonds. Get it. It's amazing. It can be hard to buy different worlds, but can happen.

Game takes many opportunities to try and get you to spend money. As soon as you open the game, you're annoyingly hit with at least seven different popups trying to get you to spend on something. And the ancient portal doesn't even work. Hasn't for a long time. Can't find any fix to it online and I submitted a report nearly a year or so ago. Every time I go to clear something on the ancient world, the game forces me to restart. And opponents can sometimes attack twice in a row in combat, now?

BIGGEST pay to win ever. There's always multiple 'deals' to get you to pay for this dragon or more food. Can't go 10 minutes without the pop up coming back up again. The fighting is really annoying. The other team constantly gets to go twice in a row, and you only get to go twice every 2 or 3 games. I'm constantly losing because the other team gets to go again and again. It's really annoying. The art is pretty and the game is actually fun...but how tf are you supposed to play with all this..

I'm just getting back into the game and I'm enjoying it very much. If I had to add a feature, I would like to be able to purchase more than one dragon at once (like, buy 50 Terra dragons at one time), and I wish, once dragons get done breeding, you can put the egg in storage so that you can breed again while waiting for a place in the hatchery. It would help expedite some of the waiting and free up your dragons in case you need them for battles or exploration. Other than that, great game!

Good game. I'm still gonna play. But the COST. It's genuinely not funny how much EVERYTHING cost in this game. To get anything decent you have to spend over 10$ and things that cost diamonds are like 300 when you get maybe 10 w/out buying. I was Doing one of the races you spend special coins on, and you get the coins by collecting almost anything in the game. It had 1 hour before it ended and I needed a few more to get a dragon. No matter how much I collected, I had to buy the needed coins.

DO NOT INSTALL!!! I've played this game for 13 years and even spent money on the game. The missions pair you with unbeatable opponents too often, too little missions to do, too many dragons to unlock without many options to unlock them, most things are too expensive, and no rewards for loyal players. Not worth playing AT ALL, 0 stars if it were possible. Edit: The game has gotten worse since my last review. More expensive in-app purchases for less items.

Why does it take so long to incubate eggs? 16hrs for one and 2d for another- it's ridiculous. Training also takes a forever to complete and the amount of food it takes to lvl up your dragons after lvl 20 is crazy. Overall, however, the mechanics and play-through of the game is really nice. It's got its perks like: # of different Dragons, fighting (arenas, quests), etc. No hate, I just think some things are stingy and could use some reworking.

I have been addicted to this game since I discovered it. It is similar to DragonVale with some differences. I am rating 4 stars however because of the pop-ups that appear as well as the forced ads. I willingly watch the ads for rewards but now I'm getting forced, mostly unskippable ads that pop up after leaving whatever menu I was in. I used to not have them but I've now been playing a couple months.

Overall, it's a great game. I've been playing for almost 3 years now, and I have since come back to play the game more often. The issue I have is the bug that happens while fighting. Sometimes, players go twice in a row. That's not fair because you could lose from that. Besides that, I recommend this game to others, it's fun, tons of dragons, eventful, and I'm eager to see future improvements.

The game is great so far! But I will say that the building is kinda off, when you're building paths it's a pain since it resets your camera and you can only buy one at a time. It'd be nice if you could buy as much as you'd like in the store, go to inventory, and place them down that way. Also, just for someone of lower class, I wish gems or items/dragons were cheaper or quicker to obtain. I unfortunately don't have the money to indulge, but I love the game, just wish I could do more longer 😅

Pretty good game but there are some flaws such as the ads, I honestly think that the 0.99 cent pack is a game-changer and is honestly one of the only things worth paying for. My second complaint about the ads Is that the x on some of them don't work also, a lot of people say it's a "pay to win" game but this just isn't true you have to work at this game to get good. Another is the leages some are way too hard. So in conclusion, Cute Dragons, love the music, great for socializing and having fun!

If you didn't place inescapable ads In the gameplay (recent update) and didn't take away the ability to watch ads in order to feed dragons for free I would feel compelled to give a better review. But you keep changing the way things work in the game and I don't like it. I also don't like how you keep increasing the amount that things cost in the game.

I really wish you were able to access and move your habitats and dragons while they are upgrading, along with other buildings. I understand not being able to collect, but not being able to move them while they upgrade kinda sucks. I also would love to be able to rotate things along with just a map design type thing where you can remove all option for easy map revamp. Overall, it's a great game, and you don't have to spend money if you don't want to. I find the game to be very addictive.

TOO MANY ADS! I came back to this game because of a loyalty app that I recently downloaded. And at first it was nice the music is good the dragons look nice, But then I noticed that they seem to have put in a lot more ads since I last played it years ago. Now I get random ads just whenever not when I'm trying to earn an extra reward. I've only been playing for like 30 minutes to maybe an hour and I'm already getting sick of how many ADS there are in the game. Very disappointing.

In the past, I've had a problem with the game being almost impossible to level up and get new dragons, like it wasnt going anywhere. I had deleted the game but recently got the game again and was pleasantly surprised with the things they changed to make the game so much easier to play! The only problem/complaint is I downloaded it through a youtubers promotion bc I thought I'd give it another try, but never received all the things promised, it kinda pissed me off.
