This is a great game. The only two things I would nitpick: I wish the green and reddish colors of the plus symbols on the hero gear upgrades did not look so similar. I know this is from being color blind (3 million new cases a year), but it is frustrating and would probably be an easy fix to change the hue/s slightly. The next one's very minor; it would be nice if the auto fight button would stay persistent until changed. That's it, give this game a whirl!

To me, this was one of the best games. Lately, they have been increasing difficulty steadily, but in uneven large jumps. I had a solid team that would sweep the tower. Now, even though I have the same team but much stronger, I struggle with it. Sometimes I wipe halfway and sometimes I come up one short. The constant drive to purchasing with money is jarring because this used to be one of the most generous games. I threw money at it several times a month because of it. Now I refuse to. Shame.

If you're not a whale don't bother. If you want to participate in the events, challenges xcetera you need to level up every single character but you don't get anywhere near the resources to be able to keep up your main characters let alone every single character. The UI layout is very poor. If you have summoned troops it makes it almost impossible to manually Target the back middle character for heals, Shields excetera. Can play for month and feel like there's no progress or improvement.

Character models feel cheep and 20 years old but the game play is fantastic. This is definitely not a play to win like SWGoH (played that at launch too) and offers more content then most games at launch. There are a few bugs (events disappearing before you are able to complete them when there is not time limit) but all things considered it is very well done.

Great game, with tons of characters to start. With hopefully some time and players committing to the game, we will see more events added and new play modes. My biggest concern for this game would be the amount of content at the moment. I hope they plan on making more play modes, as it will get boring. The chapters need some reworking too, the amount of power that increases in some of the stories is staggering

I like turn based games and this one is fun but gold is too hard to come by and the chests are way too stingy to even make it worth it. Up the gold gained in campaigns because it is insanely expensive to level up a roster after level 40-45, and loosen the purse strings on chests if you want people to stay. People will not spend money if the return isnt even close to worth it. We get it, developers need money to maintain, but no one wants to spend if its over priced and gets you nowhere.

I've got a few gripes with the game... 1) I've not had ANY audio since I've downloaded the game and played it past the intro sequence. 2) I understand the grind for new items and all but couldn't you not use a ticket system for auto-battles it is very annoying and an unnecessary mechanic. 3) There needs to be a better balance over XP earned and being able to have enough XP totems to upgrade characters to make campaigns and missions able to even pass let alone 3-Star. 4) The game freezes A LOT..

Game was fun at the beginning, then energy started being a problem. (Can't play without energy) Now, they took out autoplay, unless you pay real $$. Now all fights you have to repeat A LOT, you have to crawl through. No autoplay battles that are new, super I like, but, come on, I don't want to keep repeating a single battle 20x's for a component to make a piece of armor... 1 piece of many..ugh.. thanks for this new update, I had planned to play this game much longer and rated better, until now

Fun game so far. Had a freezing issue earlier but it is working again. Game has a ton of things to do. It appears at this early stage (I am only level 16) that if is quite possible to play to the end as a f2p. Patience is required to do so but the play process is quite fluid and most enjoyable. The only complaint I have is that the game has alot of load times but the fun far outweighs that imo. Definitely give it a try.

Drop rates are as bad as swgoh. One (of the many) reason(s) switched games was for better drop rates, unfortunately it's still bad. There is an animated story before EVERY single battle. If there wasn't a skip button I wouldn't have even played for the two weeks I have. Please get rid of that, it's ridiculous. All that said, it IS a nice change of pace from swgoh. And the best part is it's not ea/cg. That itself makes it better. No paywall. If you do like to spend, everything is much cheaper.

Hard to recommend this game anymore. Latest update brought heavy monetization, excessive pop ups trying to sell more stuff, and made (unnecessary) changes to the tournament system that have made it nearly impossible to compete anymore. Used to be a fun part of the game but now I'm lucky to win more than a few matches every three days. Has soured the experience enough that other areas start to feel worse. Find a different game because the direction this one is going isnt great.

very nice fantasy character collection game, graphics are good, a good amount of content and devs still actively working on it. Pop ups and monetarisation got to the point, where just about every click opens a popup "last chance, buy this". A once promising game is at the point, where it is unplayable due to this. Gues its time to move on. My wallet did when they started pushing more and more with pop up adds.

I love how free-to-play friendly this game is, and not only that, but how most of other communities are starting to fill this game more and more further diversifies the players involved. I'd say the only issue at the moment is how you can't really sim that many battles unless it is because I am still a low-level player, but regardless, its fun. Graphics-wise, I think they can be a bit better when a character takes or does damage to another as that's what it lacks truly. Overall, its wondrous.

The top reviews make this sound like a hero collector worth your time. It's pretty stale. My response to the developer is that there are not enough meaningful choices available to the player before the grind sets in and each scenario is fairly predictable. Since we can only field 5 possible units with fairly meaningless upgrade paths there are not many moving parts. I was not a big enough fan of the art style or menu system to push through to what I assume was a more creative end game experienc

2nd review after playing the game for a few weeks. I still think it's an absolutely fantastic game, I love how cheap it is to play. If I were to suggest any changes or improvements about the game it would be to add ability scrolls to more areas of the shop and/or allowed the scrolls to be purchased with dracoins. Add the option to skip the hero "flyovers" each time a level is started. Also perhaps add permanent pack offers instead of just tournament ones, Keep herostones packs at $2, dont raise.

There are a lot of games that follow this basic pattern. This one does it well and has a better story and enjoyable writing for character dialogue. I've heard it gets better/smoother, but right now, most battles in tournaments, arenas, events, and even campaign progression are ploddingly slow (3-8 minutes each, 5 minute limit via timer in the arena). Feels like everything is a war of attrition.

A very good game in my opinion. Very easy in all honesty and since all their add are their own, is so much more tolerable and easy to skip past them. Micro transactions aren't really needed so far. I'm lvl 27 and it's nice. If you can stand the consistent pop ups and the pace of the game, definitely a recommended for people who want a game that doesn't pressure you to "be the best" but be involved enough and that's good to me.

Fun so far. It's still fun 3 months later. I've been subscribed to the monthly and just did the battle pass. The battlepass quests seem a bit exhausting though(Update: they were not as hard as previously thought.) Update: Still a great game 5 months later from starting it up. I've done the second battle pass and it was a bit easier than the original which was a little more relaxing. They have made the game better, there are more rewards, and I'm still paying monthly because this game is great.

So far it's pretty good. The writing is humorous, and the graphics are clean and colorful. I feel like enemies are slightly overturned for the early game or heroes are slightly undertuned. I don't expect to always get 3 stars, but to have so much trouble in the first act, is odd. My biggest criticism is the awful "plop" sound when you interact with the menus. If that isn't going to get changed, an option to mute it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for a good experience so far.

Another "Gotcha" game with pop ups, micro transactions, Limited time offers, etc. but, it seems like this one was geared towards younger inexperienced RPG gamers but has something for RPG veterans to enjoy as well. there's a broadly wide diversified cast of characters too. Some amusing designs. it turns into a pay-to-win game. hard to progress without spending money. a bit oppressive in gameplay . the bundles get very expensive. too greedy. some asking for over $100 for items.
