When it works it's great. It says it can connect to any data, but that's not exactly true. Both on WiFi? All good. However, you can't listen if the child device is on WiFi but the parent is using data. Meaning, an old phone *won't* work at any distance unless both have active plans. I still get the beep alert, but no sound, which is pretty pointless if you can't tell *what* sound is being made. Will continue to try other apps before purchasing.

baby monitors are expensive, and we live in a small home where we don't really need one. on the occasion we do need a baby monitor, Dormi is a great option! I simply pair my device with my spouse's, leave my phone near the baby, and that gives us a little more freedom (nothing crazy here, just playing in the yard with our toddler, having dinner on the porch, and whatever else you want to do at home. this app is not a babysitter).

Loud feedback when you walk into the room where the other device is being used. Instantly wakes baby up in a panic. Video hardly ever is available as an option, no idea why. It's good as a prototype or general idea, but overall this particular operation isn't what it has potential to be. Needs more work and dedication. Much potential though.

I love this app. It has 2 way communication. I like that you have the option of audio and/or video. There is also a flash light. There is also a night vision option on some phones. My husband can check on our daughter while he is at work. The only downside is that it only has one child mode. If you want more than one child mode you need another parent device to pair it with. It would be awesome if one parent device could be linked with more than one child device at a time.

Super handy! I've had to use a baby monitor at family functions here and there when the little one fell asleep. Recently we have moved and he now has his own room. The monitor we had just wasn't cutting it because it kept dying in the middle of the night. We remembered we could use Dormi with our cell phones especially because we got him a new Samsung tablet for all his games and videos. Why didn't we think of this before! It's perfect for our needs. It even has a video feature when we need it!

The app works well enough when it does work; however it does not work offline as well as advertised. The biggest issue is that this app advertises the ability to work without internet, but you need internet to setup a group before you can monitor. The app also only works over WiFi or LTE, not Bluetooth. If you don't have LTE you'll need to create a hotspot to use it, but not all phones can do that. In summary, I'd like a refund so I can buy an rf monitor that I can depend on to work.

Helps me take a 💩 while watching my baby lol 🤣 Only thing is, you can't use data while using the video function! 😕 You have to be connected to wifi in order to use video. My bathroom is right out of wifi reach 😂 so I have to borrow my husband's phone, keep it within range & watch it that way. Oh also you need 2 phones, obvs. One for watching/being next to baby & the other to keep with you to hear/see the baby remotely. Hopefully they can update it to allow data usage instead of only wifi! 👍

Great app so far! The "background noise-cancelling" is *phenomenal*!! Our expensive high-tech baby monitor [insert your own brand name here] drops out ALL THE TIME every time it thinks it can't reach the internet... but this app has never failed us once. I haven't purchased the full app yet -- but as well as it's been working for us I'm pretty sure I will be!

I love this app. Our kids are too old to use as a monitor, so I set up an old phone in our garage as a noise and motion sensor surveillance camera. We finally caught what has been eating our cat's food! Two raccoons and two other cats. Now that I can rush out there was soon as the camera senses them, I haven't seen any additional animals in three days. I love the talk back feature, and the ability to turn on the flash and night vision.

Garbage app; drops signal a the time. constantly having to restart to get it to work. All these issues using brand new Pixel 3's, Comcast broadband internet, and a $300 dollar router! Use the free version in a pinch maybe, but dont by any means pay these people money! Sent two emails through the app regarding issues, and received no reply a month later! Boo!

the app only stays connected for like 1-2 hours tops before it stops pairing and I have to physically go in and restart it on the child phone and pair it again. i downloaded a few different apps and am disappointed that the best quality one is the only one that doesnt stay connected the whole night. wish i had not wasted my money on buying the full version on this one.

Bought this app premium 3 years ago, and soon after a year one of us moved to ios and we could not make use of this app. While I wished and requested that dormi did make an ios app as well, so glad that we are now back on Android, and the app works the same as I remember! I hope the view button be toggle able so as to switch it between continuous video stream mode on or just video stream till button pressed. Along with the noise detection video.

Not worth paying for! In low light conditions it is difficult to see our child, so just flip on the night vision, which just shows a green screen...awesome 'night vision'! Also the 'smart sensitivity' audio isn't very smart! Update: video no longer works at all. Not that it was any good to begin with.

Stellar since day one. I tried a traditional video monitor when 2nd was born and struggled to like it, let alone get it to work consistently. This app is flexible, video optional, encrypted, travel-friendly, multiple users, allows simultaneous apps, no ads, easy to use. I think there was even an update that tuned out repeated sounds like my lullaby app. We use it every night and won't stop anytime soon. I do have one request: a widget for my home screen would put this app over the top!

Want to like it, good quality app with useful options, but it has terrible controls and I cannot work the video view on my phone! You have to hold and slide the eye tab to view video, but even if I drag it all the way over, it just snaps back to the side! Am I really supposed to hold the button down to view video? I can't leave the camera open to watch it as a monitor?? The app could truly be perfect if viewing were more user friendly. As it is now, the interface is unusable!

quite a good app for what it is supposed to do. mostly using it for travel. the fact that it uses mobile if wifi fails was my main reason to buy the unlimited monitoring. However there is one major issue that makes it less user friendly. 1) no option to select continuous audio/video - have to hold the button down which makes it clunky esp. when changing video options/camera. I connect my phone to charger so drain is not an issue. I would prefer if that option existed.

There are a lot of Baby Monitor apps out there, and I downloaded quite a few before landing on this one. Good video quality, some of the best low light Good audio, sensative auto function, consider having a fan on in the room if you don't want to hear every time they roll over. Good pricing options, just know that changing can be tricky so I'd suggest the one time purchase if you like it. I'd love to see integration with Google Assistant /Home, and support for external (usb/bt) cams/mics.

We went to Bermuda for a quick getaway and didnt think to bring a baby monitor. it just so happened that the hot tub and pool area was right under our room balcony, so we really wanted to use it once the baby had gone to sleep. this app was so perfect for this!!! it is very sensitive and reacted to ever little sound even outside of the room (you can regulate the sensitivity but we wanted to be extra careful). it is really so useful, and you get free credit every month. thank you for this app!

I used to love this app so much I used the paid version. But a recent update destroyed it. I used to be able to turn on my phone's app and instantly connect to my other phone in the baby's room with no problems, no matter where I was. Now it always requires reconnecting, which I can't do when the baby is in there sleeping! I'll be uninstalling and looking for another

I love this app. Its easy to use and the camara works quite well. I haven't had any problems with it so far. The "parent phone" beeps or it's screen turns on (or both, depending how you set it up) when the "child phone" detects noise. I like that they have different pricing options, all of which are cheaper than buying an actual video baby monitor from Target lol
