I had a really good time playing through this. I liked that each level was longer than Awakenings, but that they weren't super long. I think Origins was improved in general compared to Awakenings as it seemed more well rounded, complex, and put together. Though there still needs to be hints for puzzles and every puzzle needs an explanation on what the end result should be. For what you get I wouldn't have paid the listed prices, but it's great on Play Pass.

I love this game! It's visualy stunning with just enough detail to work well on the small screen. It takes a bit to get hang of how to navigate & keep track of finished doors, but the fact that it's up to the user to figure things out is what really makes it fun for me. Finished all. Was a real challenge but occasional hint use was just enough not get so frustrated that it ceased to be fun. I give it 5 🌟 and a recommend.

Great game, but the graphics are so good, you want to keep going and I did. Game only has 18 levels total and it definitely needs more. I finished the entire game in less than a week. I only took time to finish because I only had 2 levels left. Please please please add more levels. The color, challenges and ease of this game are incredible. And for the first time, a game with zero ads.

UI is unfortunately short sighted. Having the items at the bottom of the screen and needing to flick up confuses my phone for my app management like most phones, so I don't think I'm the only one frustrated with trying to use a tool and then needed to fight the phones UI as well as games. Also a lot of the time when I hit the back button as a mechanic in the game to exit a part of the puzzle it acts as if I hit the menu. Also one puzzle was completely unresponsive till suddenly it was.

Only played 2 levels so far and am really enjoying the game. The puzzles are not really hard and I hope that they will get more involved as the levels progressed. There is intrigue in each level. The artwork is beautiful and the game runs so very smooth. If you like puzzles that make you think out of the box, and appreciate excellent graphics and smooth running games, you will like this.

Its really neat, the story line compelling & mysterious & the graphics on point. The only complaint I have is when you unlock hints & need one to help solve a puzzle, they only allow you to skip it. I don't know if its even possible but I'd much rather be given a hint on how to solve it rather than just skip it altogether. It makes me feel weak & dumb to give up so easily when all it takes sometimes is a little nudge in the right direction to help you solve the rest & feel like a winner. LOL 😆

Enjoying this game reminds me a few other puzzle games I played. Just actually strained about 20 minutes on twitch. Played the first 4 puzzles, will stream some more of it later. I haven't done any checking to see if they have more games in the series but I really hope they do. So far the puzzles are not too challenging. Obviously I'm only on level four and I do hope they get a little bit more complicated, but if you like puzzles and you like games reminiscent of The Room, play Doors : Origins

The free puzzles were interesting and very visually appealing. Not super challenging, though. Got through the free stuff in about 2 hours or less, including going back to find gems I missed. Unfortunately, that's where I stop. While I don't mind paying for more levels, the price ($4.99) is far too high for the content I'll get out of it. $1.99 may be more likely to hook me, based on other similar games I've played.

An excellent game that is smooth and responsive even on my junker sub-$100 phone. Has a vibe similar to The Room and Machinika Museum, which was exactly what I was looking for. Though interestingly I have one problem that I don't think I've ever seen before, the game screen is too tall, the top and bottom icons and buttons are cut off. I can just about access the home and menu buttons, and drag stuff out of the inventory, but I can't press or read the button on the bottom left.

I love how interactive this game is. You don't just tap to find an object, sometimes you have to manipulate the object to open it. And, so far as I can tell, the forced ads appear in between levels and are generally only 15 seconds long. Not at all annoying in my book, because it's not interrupting my flow. And if I ever find that it does, $2.99 to remove them permanently is more than reasonable. And $6.99 for that & 2 additional episodes is still pretty fair.

I really enjoy these types of games but the Doors games are the best. The graphics are beautiful and the levels are challenging but not impossible. I play in-between meetings or during short breaks because the levels take me anywhere between five to ten minutes to complete. Try these games!! Also, I have Google Pass (completely worth it) so there are no in-app purchases and I can go from level to level with no ads.

Most of the puzzles were too easy. Then there was randomly 2 puzzles that made no sense. The hints don't help, they just blink to show you what puzzle you need to solve next, which is obvious. It doesn't give you a hint for the actual puzzle. You can skip it, but it doesn't show you the solution. I got this free on play pass, and it provided ~1 hour of entertainment. Not worth buying it though.

A wonderful puzzle game reminiscent of The Room. Stunning graphics with simple, but sometimes challenging, puzzles. A stark difference to Tiny Robots: Recharged, Doors: Origins is a 4/5 star experience. Granted, some of the puzzles mean using hints, (which is why I rated 4/5), but other than that it really is a fantastic game. I would absolutely recommend and I can't wait to try Doors: Awakening.

The visuals were spectacular. The audio and vibrations tied in the effects quite nicely. The puzzles were clever. There isn't a lot of time wasted tapping on dead spots. When some objectives are complete they are disabled from further interaction which is nice. It was easy enough to keep progressing, yet hard enough to be engaging. I completed all the levels and puzzles, some I spent more time than I care to admit solving (which can be a good thing). Well done

Mysterious yet relaxing sounds make the game more enjoyable. Puzzles are interest engaging and unique. I love that there's a casual story foundation found within levels, yet it doesn't take away from continuous game play. I think the game is a good length. Too many levels make for poor story lines and less interest in finishing before the sequels. It would be nice if there were more "Easter eggs" to find via repeatable levels and rarer achievements made available. Enjoyable experience, TY. 🤩👍

I don't often review games but i really like puzzles so when I saw an option of unlimited hints, only $3, I thought cool! I don't mind paying & that's relatively cheap comparatively, & no ads too? SWEET! then i got thru the free levels in less than an hour and had to pay for the rest (not too happy) I went ahead & bought it ($5 on top of the 3) and THEN I realized you only get 10 more levels and that's it (and you have to make sure you get all the gems for the 2 final levels) NEEDS MORE LEVELS!

Frigg'n cool graphics. So far I find this game intriguing. You need to find bits and pieces to complete the puzzle to open the door to go to the next level. A no rush game. Take as long as you need to find the objects to move to the correct spot. Once you gather all that is needed, the door will open and you move onto the next level to solve. If you can't, there is always a hint button.

I LOVE this game. In answer to the reviews about the price, this and its sequels are included in PlayPass, so I actually think it is a great value! You can't fault the developers for needing a paycheck. This seems like it took a lot of work! Even without PlayPass, it costs less than a movie ticket, so if you spend at least 2 hours I think you got you money's worth. But that's my opinion. Mechanics are simple on my android, graphics are beautiful and the puzzles are engaging! Excited for more!

This would be five stars because I was enjoying the clever puzzles, but it lost four for being a giant $$$ ripoff. After getting through a few levels, I sprung for the $7 all-in purchase. Imagine my surprise when I only played another 12-ish levels and that was it. Done! $7 for 18 levels and approximately an hour of gameplay is ridiculous. Make a $10 or $12 all-in package that unlocks all the Doors games and that would be a good value. Until then, I can't recommend your games or company.

Impressive!! I have played 2 levels, but so far, so good. Controls are simple. Graphics are colorful and very detailed. Hopefully, the puzzles get a little more challenging. It's definitely not a knock on the game. The puzzles still make you think, which i like. But like I said, I have only played 2 levels. 4 out of 5 ⭐️'s for now. Let me play a few more levels and see if we can't get that 5th ⭐️
