Aside from only being able to play part of the game for free, it is a well done, 'Door' game. Graphics are amazing, and had no issues in gameplay. Very relaxing to play. However, you only get 8 doors to open for free, and there is a 30 second ad after each door- hence the reason for the low score. $4 to complete the game. Expect more of a 'demo' in terms of length than a full game.

Another homerun from Snapbreak, Doors: Awakening is a delightful puzzle experience with fantastic music and lovely graphics. The controls are easy to master, as are the puzzles, and it isn't a game that drags on for hours. That said, it could benefit from having a few more levels than it does. D: A is still a great game as is, don't get me wrong, I would've liked to have more levels. 4/5 again, but keep an eye out for more from Snapbreak.

They give you 8 levels for free that are really stupidly easy. Then you have to pay $4 for 8 more easy levels. Save your space. I finished the first 8 levels I. 15 minutes, then realized I had to pay, then deleted the app off of my phone. Of what I DID play, the puzzles were interesting, took a little bit of thinking, bland very intuitive. But each door was super short, with about 4 or 5 puzzles to solve.

I have this free on Play Pass. I enjoyed all the different Doors games/apps. The graphics are good, the challenges are easy to difficult but good enough to get hooked and stimulate your brain. My complaints are that some controls are not that touch sensitive/tactile or have latency/delay, the levels are limited/short, and sometimes you try/do one thing & it doesn't work, but ends up that it should be what you should do after all and it's just that the app doesn't recognize or does something else

Better than expected...trying Play Pass and was going to give up finding a game when I found "Doors". It's great when you want to relax but still use your brain. Could be a little more challenging but I will check other "Doors" games too. It would also be better if the gameplay can be saved. Had to reset phone, when I tapped the game, I had to start all over... I'll give 5 stars then.

Good graphics, simple game play, challenging puzzles... entirely too short. Can play 8 of 16 levels for free, but to continue playing, it's $4?! That's ridiculous. I have no problems paying a fee for a good game, but for $4, it needs to be a substantial game experience, and there needs to be some replayability. This is a "one and done" type game, and is way overpriced. Really too bad, had great potential.

Very beautiful but only semi-challenging. The ads are not bad - they only appear between each level (not during) and they can be skipped. I don't think it's worth paying $4.99 to unlock every level for the difficulty but given how beautiful and intricate the levels are, maybe it is. I got all of the level packs for free with my Google Play Pass trial, which was nice. It really is a beautifully designed puzzle game.

Loved the levels, but.. sometimes the mini games are like, incredibly easy with no challenge, and others are so difficult to figure out what is needed that you're just messing with things and hoping something is right until it works. Or, you just have it skipped for you which sucks because you don't know what solved it. The "hint," is just something blinking at you, nothing more. I would pay full price for all 3 games if there were more levels.

Visually beautiful, soothing BGM, a couple hours of play. It's not very complex; each level is over in a few minutes. The game does a disservice by having puzzles with no explanations. No option but to skip if you don't know what it wants. A short "you need to arrange/do this" would help. Based on this game, and the ridiculously high price, I won't bother with the others.

The graphics are nice and the puzzles are fun if too easy, but the game became unplayable for me at level 7 as it started to stutter a lot. I think having an option to turn the animations off could help. The controls could use tightening up, too, especially when spinning things around to line them up. Also, it's kind of a bummer you have to pay for the other half of the game. Extra levels after the story, sure, but this would be more like a demo being that you have to pay for the other half.

Very much enjoyed the game. Just enough challenge, not to difficult and not too easy. Played through the 8 free levels. I was about to purchase it, but saw complaints that it had very few additional levels included in the purchased version. Not sure I want to spend money on an app that I won't get much play time from. Add more levels and I'll definitely reconsider.

Games not bad, although the small area we're given makes it feel kind of annoying at times. The controls on the telescope thing and a few other objects wasn't good. It kept moving as soon as I let go. I had to skip the puzzle. Graphics aren't bad but the story is weird. Still don't understand what its about and why i was solving door puzzles for it but it was fun, and challenging at times.

While the game was very pretty and the puzzles fun, I don't think this would be worth paying full price for the additional levels. The puzzles weren't very challenging and the levels all went really fast, I'd say it took me about 90 min to do them all, and the levels didn't really seem to increase in difficulty. It was pleasant and fun, just not worth the cost. Plus all the scrolls were just super negative and depressing and didn't feel relevant in any way. Not fun. Epilogue lvls were the best

I love this game, but two things really piss me off 1. It does not save progress in a level if you can't finish it. 2. There are bonus levels that one can access if one finds all the crystals in all the levels. But, if you miss finding both crystaks in a level, you can go back and play the level again but neither crystal is there. So, no chance to for the bonus levels.

So far so good! Not as hard as some of the others I've enjoyed, like The Room, but that series seems to be in a league of its own lol! If you've played the Birdcage puzzles I'd probably compare it to those. So much in fact I'd wager they may have the same developers, or be related one way or another. I'm only on the 2nd level lol So that could be why the difficulty level isn't very challenging. I dig it enough that I'll most likely play the other ones in the series.

I'm not a fan of 5 star ratings, as most of the time they're BS and just hyping the game up and honestly look like bot reviews. However, I can't complain. I downloaded it for free because play pass, got the extra levels because play pass, and feel like I robbed the dev. Lovely game, story telling was great, I skipped a couple puzzles because I am just awful at them personally, but played everything else through to the final levels. The animation was beautiful. I'd say more, but character limit.

Not bad. Short amd relatively simple. Loved the art, style, and mostly smooth mechanics. Only two puzzles seemed to give me any real problems. The first was just a rotating puzzle that nothing happened, no matter what I did. Turns out I wasn't as inquisitive as I should have been. Other was a sliding tile puzzle, but that was also on me. I'm usually very good at them and was just overthinking it. Also, Note 22 has a spelling/grammar error, fyi.

Cannot turn off the tutorial, your hand holding has ruined the first level of game in my eyes. Your game isn't mechanically different enough from the hundreds of different "point-and-click" games to warrant a permanent tutorial. Allow an option to turn it off, & inexperienced people won't be affected. . Finished some levels before attempting "1. First Steps" again, & the tutorial was still there. . Loved the other door game, but that tutorial needs a toggle too.

The graphics are stunning and the gameplay is fine, but the puzzles are very short and easy. I would say they are really no harder than a high beginner level. My 5-year-old daughter has been able to figure some of them out. Plus, there are only about two dozen puzzles all together, which doesn't seem worth it for the price of the full game. I've paid a lot less for much better. Having said that, if you were new to the world of escape puzzles, this would be a great beginner one to try.

This game is my happy place. I might go and explore others, but ultimately I end up back at the Door. Great puzzle challenges, awesome ambient sounds, visuals are on point, and the frustration level is minimal. For ADHD folks who need constant change, a challenge that isn't frustrating AF, and immersion. Get this app. Full disclosure, I have only used the Play Pass full version so YMMV with the free version.
