it glitches way too much... I have full bars, and it still likes to say offline, no internet.... the worst part, it will do that many times as you ate dropping the order off, take a picture, and can't do anything else until it decides to act right and get back online now that they require location to be turned on at all times, it drains your battery even quicker, and when you're not using your phone... it has to stay on in the background fix it!

The new map does NOT work correctly. There are too many issues. Bring back the old one because you broke it. It doesn't track correctly. It flips around randomly. It does not do night mode. It will not keep the sound off and turns it back on after each new dash. If I didn't mostly know where I'm going, this app would get me lost. And the new "don't tilt phone" feature for the camera is stupid too. Sometimes, we NEED to do that. But it won't let us take the photo now.

I enjoy working for door dash. There's a few things they could fix. When you get a job offer, before accepting it they should have it where you can see how far away the delivery has to be taken. There's some jobs that I've taken that without knowing before hand, I had to drive into another county. It was way to far and wasn't worth the pay. Also base pay for most deliveries is $2.00, door dash should have a tip adjusted into the price. Doing a delivery for $2.00 isn't right.

The app is very glitchy. When I upload a photo it won't upload and I will have to reset the whole app for it to work. Many times my order will just disappear and I have to keep refreshing to get it back. I've missed orders because I will click accept and it just loads so I have to reset the app and the order will disappear. I have full bars most of the time and my phone is brand new so it's not me. Please fix this.

The app has been experiencing frequent technical issues. When attempting to upload the app, it either fails to function or freezes. Additionally, when attempting to make a delivery, the app ceases to function, preventing me from taking pictures or indicating my arrival at the designated location. Consequently, I have received a violation of circumstances beyond my control. It is unfair for drivers to experience these issues. Please forgive the driver of the violation we have app issues 🙏

With the newest update the scheduling has been horrible! There have been more grey areas during peak times lately then I have ever seen. Normally you could go to a busy area, main cities with food, during lunch and dinner and can dash now, but not anymore, now you have to schedule and its horrible times really early in morning when no restaurants are open and for only 30 minutes. Doordash also changed the top dasher award and won't let people get top dasher. And refuses to change it back.

I started under the old system and was a top Dasher. I have excellent stats (5.0 rating, 80%+ acceptance & 95% on time), but I only do this part time. Now with the new Platinum, Gold, Silver system, I can barely get on the schedule unless I sign up a week in advance. I signed up a week ago to Dash today. I've been dashing for 1.5 hours and have had 1 order. This is not better!! Doesn't make me want to continue. I used to enjoy this.

Map feature is so glitchy, takes you all over the place. There should be a home base feature so that you can dash in a general area and not drive from one city to another for 1 order. Batches can take you 15-20 miles away for multiple orders and spit you out on an area that doesnt have availability, you're now 30 minutes from your own homebase, no orders back. It's truly not as lucrative as they adverse when you are driving so much and getting tipped so little from people who don't fairly tip.

Terrible app. Slow, laggy, inconsistent. Will randomly delete all my scheduled dashes until I close and re-open the app 5 times. Buttons will randomly not register. This is especially annoying since you usually use the app while driving and have to deal with how crummy it is. Genuinely unsafe. My phone works fine and no other app is this choppy so I know its not just me. Doordash really needs to get it together.

It's like they're trying to sabotage us. They want us to do everything quickly but have an app that does nothing but slow us down. The newest fun problem I'm having is my schedule disappearing. I'll go to login but my schedule won't be there but it tells me I already have a schedule when trying to make a new slot so I have to hope the error fixes itself and my schedule reappears before I miss being able to get in. It took uninstalling and reinstalling it to be able to log in both times.

The app freezes up a LOT, and restarts itself when verifying alcohol orders! Google maps are now opening in a separate app, taking more time for deliveries. PLEASE FIX THAT!!! I've also missed offers that never even came through, because it randomly pauses on its own! Also, I must also point out that our job should NOT depend on customer ratings! (Just look at your own rating.) Lastly, the app sometimes does not even show the miles for a delivery, so I cecline that order! PLEASE MAKE A CHANGE!!!

When you have a flawless internet connection, everything works 9 out of 10 times. The app needs to be able to function with spotty Internet. The app shouldn't have to transmit anything when I hit the "take a picture" button. It's just opening the camera why does it need to wait for a signal? Also the most common problem when delivering is no connection so why isn't that in the list of problems when I have to confirm the delivery 500ft down the road? Sometimes there's no Internet for half mile.

Integrated maps navigation is very glitchy, pulling completely wrong addresses for in app navigation for pick up and drop off. I have been sent to the wrong city. As well as the wrong house and street in the correct city. Double check before departure. If door dash adds comprehensive insurance coverage I'll stop considering switching to Uber eats. Of course more money would be nice too. Gas and vehicle maintenance needs to be covered as well as my bills if they want me to do this as my main job.

Every time I select a photo when dropping off an order it will tell me to retake it cuz the orientation isn't correct. When I added a second time it gives me the same prompt but I'm able to hit done. I don't like to take a picture in the Dasher app because there are times it gets hung up and I'll have to close it so I always take a picture with my camera app and then add the photo.

The app has been horribly glitchy since I recently updated it. Randomly can't take pics, can't map an address, has strange error codes. It's driving me crazy. I've had to sit down and restart the app at least 10 times today while trying to dash. Please fix this so I can concentrate on working instead of messing with these issues. Thank you.

This app, as well as the service itself, is in SERIOUS need of an upgrade. Mainly the map directions. Sometimes, it'll tell you you're in a completely different place than where you're going. Like, telling you to stop on the freeway. Happened once. It also likes to go offline when you're trying to find the customer or waiting for a new dash. Gets (-5) stars from me.

This is app has two halves one that works consistently and perfectly. But the moment you lose any type of internet connection or data, it goes completely braindead and unresponsive, when it decides to become unresponsive, it can completely screw up your entire dash. This means even if you've scheduled a time to dash until, it will completely end the dash early. Now this is fine if you're in an area that maintains the "Busy" or "Very Busy" status, but if not you may as well give up and go home.
