I've used them 4 times but today, they refused to help correct an error made by yesterday's helper, so I made it clear that they'd be losing my business going forward. Including tips yesterday, I spent $326 for 2 deliveries. My prior deliveries of a futon, then later 2 recliners, were probably 100-150 each and Iforget what I tipped, but I generally do 10-20 depending on what needs to be lifted. Off to the competitors, I go!

This app is actually a scam. I had a successful move of a few items, but when I booked a move of a whole apartment, 2 weeks ahead of time, The mover canceled on me less then 15 hours before the scheduled move. The only offer I got from Dolly was to wait and hope that someone else would book and to try and book a more expensive move. Their customer service is horrendous and I would never use this for anything more than a small pickup at a store.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! NOTHING BUT A SCAM! We booked, and arrived at the pick up location 30 minutes early, the guy never showed, and we waited almost an hour after the scheduled time. Contacted customer service, the option was to rebook! But why? with a service that didn't care that our time was wasted. No apologies, they just kept our payment. The FTC, Consumer Fraud, and BBB have all been contacted.

Terrible experience. I needed movers on demands between 2-4pm and revolved our entire moving schedule around it. At 2:15pm when nobody showed, I messaged and was told they weren't coming til 3:30. The uhaul truck, full of our belongings, was due back at 5pm. I never received notice or confirmation from the app either way. When they did arrive, they were not big, strong, fast or sharp. I had to micro manage them the entire 2 hours. The whole experience was very frustrating and I feel ripped off!!

First try, I tried same day and got no one to take the job. I booked a week later and recieved a confirmation with the "helpers names" and precise time. Scheduled my day around it, but they were no shows. They didnt notify me (not even in the app). Customer service promised to get someone within a couple hours, but didnt hear back. I called again, waited on hold for 30 mins and they said again that theyd get back to me. Asked for a supervisor, have been on hold another 15 mins... 1-star

Nonexistent customer service. Paid for 2 helpers, only 1 arrived. We made it work, but I've been trying to get a refund for the extra helper for 2 week and none of my calls or emails have been answered. I'm doing a chargeback on my credit card and calling it a day; I won't use the app again since I can't trust them to solve problems. At least Uber doesn't charge me if my driver doesn't show.

Useless app. Scheduled 4 days in advance, and they couldn't find a single person to move a pinball machine. They waited until moving day to tell me, leaving me high and dry. Edit: In response they issued me $20 credit for a service that doesn't show up. Not sure how this helps, so I stand by my opionion to avoid them.

I ordered my delivery over the phone with Bjorn. Shortly after the call I received a text from Mical verifying my dolly. There was an problem and it was taken care of immediately. I then received a text from Ronald P. verifying my delivery. All of the associates we're very friendly, professional, quick and efficient. I would recommend dolly to anyone needing muscle and a truck at a reasonable price. I will definitely use the service again.

Worst service ever! I booked my move in advance, and they failed to link me with a mover. Its okay if they are busy, but they should at least have better support service. They would rarely respond to text messages or phone calls. I would recommend some other service, asking a friend, or renting a car. Dolly is too cumbersome and unreliable.

Absolutely pathetic service. I couldn't get the website to work so I got the app. It works better but I had to cancel and reschedule just to add a picture of my receipt after the fact. I am now 40 minutes past my 6-7pm scheduled pickup time I selected and it still says don't worry we've got you covered we will contact you 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. No response from support through the app or their number. Worse is they use my helpers image to ask for a review like it's him asking.

App needs work. It needs more items in the description box. I couldn't properly describe my item being picked up. Could use an approximate weight box. So the system can help gauge how many assistants are needed. The service is terrible in my experience. Guys shows up to pick up my item and deemed to heavy and was damged. Helpers did nothing and left. I was charged 50% for nothing. Had to move the item myself. Finally got my money back after 3hrs on the phone. A BIG waste of time and money!

It was really easy to book and payment wasn't made until the service was finished. A couple of bugs. The app stopped tracking the movers after they made the pick up so I was left in the dark until they arrived. After making the booking, I tried to set up the app and it almost impossible. I had to try several different things before I could create the account on the app. The movers were exceptional, professional, careful and friendly.

The whole transaction was a breeze from beginning to end. I loved that I got a set price when I booked the mover so I didn't have to wonder if they were trying to take extra time to run up the fare like most other services. My mover was punctual and communicated super well with me through the app's chat function. 100% will use this service again when I need it!

Do not useful. They have options and drop downs with selections that meet the needs of what I'm looking to move, yet my order gets cancelled because they "do not specialize in that type of move." It's small paper rolls thats are on a plastic very small pallet, where's the specialty needed. We put it in a truck and move it 10 minutes down the road. Total waste and disappointment.

Scheduled a "Dolly". Had it confirmed and about 15 minutes before they were supposed to show up I received a notice that they weren't coming. The app claimed they were looking for new "helpers" but nothing ever happened. I sent messages, called and left a voice mail but no responses. Ended up moving the items myself. This app / service is not useful if it is not consistent and dependable. I won't use it again.

The absolute worst! Don't waste your time. I booked a move, received a confirmation email, then immediately received a cancellation email. This happened twice. I contacted their customer support via email (no phone number provided of course) which was no help at all. My fault - I should have read the reviews before attempting to use their service.

A friend recommended dolly, and it was a find! Super quick to get a request, prices are reasonable, didn't get 8000 calls from different companies. You can select any day and you know exactly how much you're going to be paying; very customizable too, you tell them what exactly you want to move, and they offer several options at different price points. Very happy with their service and efficiency.

Loved ❤️💙💚💜 our movers! They were the best. The support behind Dolly is non existent though and the app is a joke. I went in to edit, as I needed to add the apartment number, and it charged me even more saying I'd changed my location! You can't reach support at all. I got to wonder if they're starting to go under because I've had a job or two not get picked up when at the beginning you barely waited 2 minutes to get a helper.

Lots of missing features. They are fulfilling an important middle man job picking up items being sold across Facebook, craigslist, offer up etc. However they create a lot of confusion because they aren't in touch with both the seller and buyer (so if they get stuck in traffic which is understandable, the buyer has to reach the seller), they don't take payment for the item (so buyer has to pay seller before they pick it up, what if the seller just doesn't open the door) and don't check item.

I recently used the Dolly service for a small local move. The service was very good. 2 young men arrived with a pickup on time. They hustled and were very attentive to my direction. I used the app to set up the appointment. The app will seek detailed info regarding description of what and where items need to be moved. How many sofas, televisions, beds, boxes, addresses, start, deliver etc. and will then give a total $$ quote for the service. Plan for a good tip! Pricing was excellent.
