Update: They fixed some of the crashing and also helped alleviate you losing energy, which I appreciate. They also added more contents 9/6/22 The game is fun and doesn't pressure you too much on purchases. Game mechanics are simple and you can play this game casually. The only issue I had with this game is that I've encountered many crashes in the game and when it crashes, it doesn't return the energy during the match it crashes on. If you do spend money, avoid the energy purchase at all cost.

It has potential but at the moment, the stamina accrues too slow and spends too fast. You get about 10 minutes of repetitive gameplay before you're done. Rewards are painfully low so you frequently get stuck which doesn't feel good. Unlocking characters is 100% RNG based. You're all but required to spend $25 unlocking the ones that are actually worth playing. I put some money in but I won't do so again, it's like buying scratch off tickets at the gas station. They've got a lot of tuning to do.

Game is fun, but poorly optimized. If your device doesn't run the game well, then you're outta luck. There's no graphic settings what so ever. You can't change the camera angle, use colorblind filter, or even disable special attack animation. The gameplay has issues as well. No way to change joystick location, dashes are not reliable, math for boosts and curses isn't available , and the ai doesn't even play characters correctly. For all of the issues, I really hope they fix it because it is fun.

Decent enough game when you actually get to play it but after the first day, all I can do is a slow and steady grind. There is no ability to focus on characters you want as everything is randomized. Every time you enter the main menu, you have to close multiple in-game ads and I mean every. Single. Time. Story is meh but gameplay is solid, save only for the dodge which can become iffy due to how the joystick works in game. It's a solid okay game.

Story seems fun. Gameplay seems fun. So far I've encountered nothing but bugs. I'm running one of the newest phones you can buy. Dodge works 10% of the time. Menu interface is horrible. I'll start a game/level and I'll have something like the editing profile menu on my screen while the enemies are killing and I literally can't do anything. Screen went full white one time. I'll change my review if bugs get fixed. Also this WILL be just another pay to win game. Especially since it's Disney...

It has great gameplay and AMAZING character designs, but there are issues. First, the game overheats your phone pretty easily if you play it for more than 15 mins, causing lag. Second, after a day or two, it gets hard to farm up your people, with character shards and lv ups, slowing down your progress rapidly unless you pay. Third, when there are a lot of enemies on screen at once, it can't switch targets well unless you charge attack, leaving you vulnerable to knockback and a ton of damage.

Monetization is nuts. I'm constantly having to click away multiple windows trying to get me to spend money. I initially did put in around $20 but wish now that I had not. While the character design is great, the gameplay is pretty bland. It gets very boring after a couple/few play sessions and you hit a wall where you can't progress pretty early on. I recommend passing on this.

Edit: Just a flashy cash-grab. The "Buy Me, Buy Me" advertising is so in the way, I can't play the game anymore. I love the visuals, redesigns and the enemy choices. I like the story and can deal with the fat ha mechanics. I do not like the constant flow of "buy this deal, limited time, sale" ads popping up. I know the game wants the money but I would be more giving if the game stopped pressuring so much.

Character design and story are great, but could be made better with voice over. Microtransactions are constantly in your face and for the most part feel incredibly overpriced. Gameplay is fairly fun, but unless you are willing to pay for additional items needed for level up and character pulls, your progress in the game will slow to a crawl. Microtransactions should be supplemental to a gameplay loop that might take time, but still feels doable. Right now, they are almost necessary to have fun.

Lots of potential, but worthless. When I first downloaded the game I thought the story and design was sharp. I definitely got hooked into power leveling my characters and refreshing when I could to advance the chapters. But as of 6/24 the game just keeps freezing and crashing on me during combat or load scenes. I have to wait until the program is unresponsive long enough that it will let me force close it. And then when I logged back in, my energy or items were spent and I had lost the fight.

Gameplay has been okay so far, haven't really seen a need to spend money yet, but that's just due to all of the beginning missions/quests that give orbs. Performance has been quite bad so far, stuttering is frequent, and within the last 10 minutes of playing today, Ive managed to crash 4 or 5 times in a row. Occasionally the UI glitches out, such as the top mission/quest on the right hand side of the screen staying despite it not actually showing. Adding in some graphic options would be nice.

Much better than I expected it to be, but with two issues: First, the dodge mechanic is frustratingly inconsistent. I'd say a swipe successfully leads to a dodge about 40% of the time. It should just be its own button, or a double-tap. Swiping just doesn't work. Secondly, their monetization is ridiculously aggressive, even for a mobile game. Endless pop-ups. You'd think if I closed the pop-up for a $2.99 purchase, they'd assume I wouldn't want the $9.99 pop-up after that. Or the $14.99 pop-up.

It's pretty good when it works. A little frustrating trying to get new characters, but the gameplay is good, art is awesome. The revisionist versions of the characters is pretty cool. Overall it's not bad but they could make opportunities for new characters better. They tell you you get something free, it almost never shows. It crashes pretty consistently. Overall it's not terrible, just not worth getting into as eventually it will disappoint.

Game is great, playstyle is good, but controls need improved. You need to swipe to dodge, but with the movement joystick being open to where your finger is, there needs to be an option to lock the movement pad in place to allow for easier swiping to dodge. If you can do that, 5* all the way. Until then, it'll stay at 4 for being such a good game. Everything is great aside from the ability to dodge!

It's fine but not outstanding. If you like playing this type of mobile game there are tons better out there. The interface is annoying and even after you get used to it it feels like a hassle to navigate. The character designs range from "fun take on a classic character" to "outright terrible". The story, even for a mobile game, is on another level of nothing. But if someone likes the combat system a lot they might enjoy this. Constant Ads popping up for bundles you can buy made me uninstall.

It sucks you always have to be connected and freezes even in good connection are common. The gameplay just isn't diverse enough, even with all the heroes. The events are grindy snoozefests and lack strategy. Immediately becomes repetitive. It's not a bad game, but not one I want to play for so long, especially in a Gacha Setting. Designs and animations are neat and the choices of playable characters are delightful. I expect better of Disney.

Game was great at first but there hasn't been any new guardians in a while. I've pretty much stopped playing because I have nothing to really play for. Not to mention how repetitive it is with the 1-2 star drops on guardians. It really becomes a cash grab after a while and I'm not one to give in to that mess. 2 stars in my opinion is pretty generous!

It's a good game but the new event normal A-2 kept on spawning enemies for three minutes after defeating the boss and the two enemies listed under possible enemies. I figured this was a glitch because why would it continue spawning a total of twelve enemies at least before I gave up. I tried it again and it finally cleared the level after like a total wave of six of the times two enemies listed under possible enemies. Not sure if it's intended that way but seems like that's more than it shouldbe

This game hasn't had any new characters for a while. All it does is give out very low-level rewards. The rest has become very repetitive and boring. Each event is almost the same as the last with the only thing changing being the required characters for the mission. I feel like the programmers have gotten as bored designing this game as I have playing it. New wrinkle, it currently won't even open.

This is a really cool game, but ever since I upgraded to the S24 Ultra, it constantly crashes and tells me it has bugs in it and to wait for the next update. I can uninstall and reinstall and it works for a few days, but then I have to repeat the process. Also, drop rates for guardians have dropped. Hard to level up characters without having to spend money.
