It keeps my kids excited about brushing and earning new stickers! Was very excited about this app at first, but it keeps getting more frustrating. We have had a very difficult time getting the picture portion to work, so they can have new brushing characters and stickers. I wish there were better updates happening for this app to keep it working.

Slow, crashes/freezes, doesn't register photos. Ugh. At first, this app got the kids brushing for a full 2 minutes. But the photo feature frequently doesn't work. You aim it at an official product with a clear image of a character and nothing happens. Or you unlock the character, then the app freezes. Or you unlock a character you already have even with a new photo! Or it shows the same images repeatedly at the end of the timer. The kids lost interest, making this useless.

Helpful in getting my son interested in brushing, but cannot repeat a brush until later on in the day! Come on app developers! If my son wants to brush 5 times in a row he should be able to! Also, there is not instruction while in brush mode, which I feel would be helpful to a toddler just learning. I say this because he seems to not listen to me, but likes to follow the app! Just a simple move to the upper/lower front/back teeth would suffice! Helpful in getting them to cover all the areas! Looking for a new app.

My son had been using this app for almost a year, and we loved it. However, with the latest update the scanner no longer connects to my camera, so he can't scan characters anymore. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but all that accomplished was losing all the stickers he'd earned. Camera/scanner still doesn't work. Very frustrating.

We really loved this app at first, but now there are a lo of glitches. It won't save new characters when I take a photo. The camera takes a long time to come up to even take a picture. And now my 4 year old is getting upset because the app keeps giving him stickers he already has instead of a new one. I've changed the album to a different character to see if that will work. Sometimes he will earn a new sticker and sometimes swapping the character doesn't work and he still gets a duplicate.

Got the electric brush for my child, and she loves using it with this app! It's really great for keeping her in time, and learning to brush each section of teeth along with the animation. Only issue right now is just about every day it doesn't count the second brush of the day, so she doesn't earn the whole star for brushing twice. It repeats a lot of stickers already earned also.

My kid was super excited about being able to scan his toothbrush and have his character. Five characters later and I still haven't been able to scan a single one. I've looked at all different kinds of tutorials to get it to work and I can't get a single toothbrush to scan. He's quite disappointed and no longer wants to use the app. Super frustrating.

We bought the Rapunzel toothbrush and it will not scan for any reason. I thought it was my error but see here its not just us. The the "tutorial" is also essentially useless. The timer itself is also, at best, distracting because of the way it does a picture reveal with the timer. So our daughter loses focus on brushing just to watch the picture come up. Deleting now that I've read the other reviews with the same issues plus some we've yet to deal with.

Great Motivation for my young brusher but some parts of the app are clunky. Adding a character by scanning a toothbrush or toothpaste is very frustrating - sometimes the camera doesn't launch; sometimes it takes a long time to launch and just when you give up and hit back, it was successful and follows the back selection you just made. Overall love that my kiddo gets to add some excitement and fun to brushing to make it less of a chore and I'm happy to jump through some hoops for that.

Would be great if I could get the darn toothbrushes to scan in to unlock new characters. Yes I made sure the brushes had the magic timer symbol on the packaging. I've tried multiple times, multiple ways and it doesn't work. Thru should make some sort of actual barcode or code to enter to unlock instead of trying to scan a picture. My daughter is so disappointed.

At first the app was great, however, it hasn't had any updates and stop scanning different Disney tags and now they want to sell them separately. Also, takes a while to do anything, you have to wait for any action to finish before pressing anything else. Also, no cloud save so only 1 phone can be used at any given moment. Even worse now, while verifying the account settings, when closing the settings, the whole account got deleted.

This app has been great. we have had some issues with scanning but other than, it has worked great. I do have a suggestion. My wife and I both have rhe app on our phones and it would be nice if it could sync with a sign in or something like that. Whoever is with the kids brushes their teeth and it would be nice if the progress could be synced up.

Update 12/2019: Kept using but STILL have same issue as below...scanning to unlock new characters doesn't always work. But now with this last update in November my daughter doesnt even get her characters picture when brushing. All she gets is a blue picture with a timer and "wifi" symbol. Very irritating! 2016 review: Loved until had to get a new phone. I re-downloaded the app but the camera function doesn't work. I can not scan his toothpaste at all.

We like it a lot! He likes to see the new stickers he gets for brushing 2 minutes. And it's cool he can look at the calendar and see how much he has brushed! 8 months later.... Still using this app! Added Ant Man and he really enjoys the new stickers! He is still not tired of this. Been using over a year now. It is a great way to keep him brushing longer!

This app is terrible.. You can't restart the timer if it runs out and the child isn't done or felt like they want to start again. Additionally, they LITERALLY scroll fun facts on the screen while the app is downloading updates. One fun fact.. Brush for 2 minutes twice a day... Well that's funny.. The brush timer ONLY GOES for one minute! What a piece of trash..

Scanning the brush doesn't work (with a Rapunzel electric toothbrush) - either the recognition is no good, or I'm doing it wrong and there isn't sufficient instruction to show you how to do it right. It seems like putting a QR code on the toothbrush or package would have been a lot simpler and more reliable. Timer, stickers, etc are all fine, except we can't access anything except the default BB8 set.

with the last update we now have fireworks that have sound effects. that was a nice surprise. But now after the star goes into the book to account for the brushing, there's no way to exit the program unless you simply go back to your home screen. It didn't used to be that way. In fact, even with the enhanced sound effects for the fireworks, I prefer the previous programming to this one entirely. Sometimes the program doesn't start at all just plays the intro music and before you know it times up.

I like the idea behind the app and it definitely makes brushing teeth easier and more enjoyable for my son. main issue I have is the scanning process. I have several Oral-B / Disney products 3 or 4, and none if them will scan. I really want to be able to scan but no items work and I have tried many many times.

My kid won't brush without this. It has become routine. It used to be great but lately it doesn't work well on my phone. The background images do not load while brushing. Instead I see image of hour glass and wifi symbpl.. Also, the restriction to only brushing once per night is very frustrating as sometimes there is a need to brush again and it causes unecessary annoyance to work around this limitation that there is no reason for.

**EDIT**** Well, it looks like nothing has improved since my last review in 2018. I re-downloaded this app for my 2 year old, and it doesn't go past the first page with the logo on it. *2018 Review* The old versions worked MUCH better. My daughter is incredibly disappointed that the scanner no longer works, so she can't brush her teeth with Ironman. Fix the issues, PLEASE!!!!!!
