I have grown to love this application and it's ease of access. It is truly very helpful and customizable as well. It has made reading and responding to messages exceptionally easy. It is awesome!

Update 15/Feb/21: The developer reached out and sent me my coupon. I am extremely pleased with the app overall. Update: I am an existing premium user and decided to give this app another try. Emailed the developer multiple times for the coupon but I did not receive a single reply. I'm hoping I'll get a response here. ### I get the same multiple messages when my messaging app receives notification (chomp sms and viber). Will definitely buy this app once this gets fixed. Edit: Looking forward for support on these apps. Until then, I'll stick with the free version.

This is a fantastic app, which offers better privacy. Without even opening my whatsapp and instagram, this app lets me read all messages without any tension of last seen message, blue ticks, or anything else which let the user know that I have actually read the complete message very clearly. The only pitfall or this app is it doesn't show the attachment of multi media files(photo, video, speech), may be the developer could work more on this further. It's truely a recommended app for privacy.

Gone to subscription model, but the developer did the right thing and offered all users a free life-time subscription. However, since upgrading my phone, the app shows to be pro but operates as if it isn't and the developer is nowhere to be found to help rectify the issue. Otherwise it's a good solid app that works very well but it's long overdue for dark mode support. NOTE: Until the developer resolves my pro access, I am forced to give the app one star only.

Last update not working well Apps crashing again and again even after clear data and reinstalled, still same problem Update (30 July 2024) Problem still persist even after latest update . The app become too worst now Again and again error of service disconnect And even not a single chat head appear Paid users also suffers a alot Please solve the problem

Been working quite well for a long time suddenly now it stop me from accessing any other apps at all. I have to go to settings, and force stop this. Msg keep saying Direct Chat is not optimised for latest version of android. (OneUI5 I guess). Will have to uninstall until fixed. 24hrs later Edit Thanks for your quick reply and possible fix. The problem has ceased and things seem to be back to how they were! Thanks

This is a great app, however, it no longer works properly. It's not the developers fault but it appears that Android 12 is causing the issue. It stops you pressing any other key on your phone until you clear the chathead. I've tested this on different phones and different chathead apps. All with the same issue making the app useless. But hopefully there's a work around and all will be sweet again.

It was working good with me on android 12 till the last update that supposed to fix the problem of freezing touch when the bubbles appear but the opposite happended and it bring the problem back and the touch stopped again when the bubbles appear so please try to fix it as soon as possible 🙏🙏 and it will be fine if u add more features for the App. Thanks in Advance 💕

Great concept just like fb messenger. But still few noticeable bugs are there. But still I loved it. 2022 Edit: Tried to install it back after years of not using it. Disappointed to see that the settings to adjust the customizable is now pro only feature. Well that's fine. But now they included ads for non pro which is a bummer. Lastly, after enabled all the special permission settings, I'm not able to touch or type anything on the screen when the bubble appears. Immediately uninstall the app...

It's good, it just need a few more tweaks. I can't see photos in it yet and I hope I will be able to in the next update. The basic features are good enough for me. Btw, how about you guys consider adding the feature to send pictures and files? I am thankful for the app, it's been hellish to manage multiple accounts. Edit: You guys need to work on syncing too. It doesn't show past messages and it's hard for backtracking and you have to open the main app to do so.

Used to work very well. I was very pleased. But suddenly, a couple of weeks ago, the app lost the ability to open related apps — all of those in the apps list. The app is now less functional than the basic Android notification system. I wanted to report this fault to the developer directly, but can't find any way to do this. I have no choice but to uninstall the app and voice a public complaint via these reviews. EDIT: in anticipation of a fix I am raising my rating back to 5⭐.

Great app! However in the current version, unable to open the app directly from the chat bubble. Pressing the button to open the app's chat window in the bubble does not do anything.

Question please: how much battery usage does it consume in the background, cannot seem to kill the background process? Feature request please: 1. Gesture system on the bobblehead instead of just floating ? Click/ Long click/Up Down/Left Right. 2. Dark Mode in the settings pages! 2. Standard light and dark themes, but still allowing customization?

I have emailed the developers listed contact email address twice now and still haven't gotten a response. I have directchat pro but now since it's no longer a supported app I had to send my order number for the pro version to get a coupon code for premium features on the free app. Otherwise I'd probably give the app 5 stars as I've been using it for almost 3 years and absolutely love it. Please fix this issue.

App does what it says, but only offers a subscription for most features. Can disable ads for $10, but cannot adjust basic things like transparency. For an app that already requires so many permissions it feels oddly predatory to push this hard for subscriptions, and the rate is frankly excessive at like 6 bucks a month. Unfortunate, as the functionality is solid, but hard to trust the Deb given this strategy.

Had this before and it used to be great... now my messages come in normally, (no preview though, regardless of selecting it) but when you click the bubble, it just says "New message", "2 new messages" and so on... it doesnt show you what they ACTUALLY SAID... just that you HAVE a message. Never used to do that. I've gone through all the settings 3 times already.. nothing. Kinda renders it pointless.

Great app. Wish I could launch the different messaging services with a shortcut on the recent chats screen or something when I don’t have any particular notifs active from them for a more streamlined experience. Something similar to the box with arrow shortcut seen in individual chats. App seems to disable the flow/swipe typing feature of Swiftkey, but not for some other keyboards, which can be an annoyance. Edit 9/2019: the longer that this doesn't update, the more bugs that crop up.
