I've written a review before, but it seems to have disappeared. It is not super easy to purchase items within the game unless you pay to play. The game itself is fine. What I have an issue with is that the gems I have earned keep disappearing. Ive lost several within the last couple of days. I will have a number of gems, go to play a level, and when I finish the level I may only have one gem when I didn't even make a purchase. Its super irritating and disappointing. About to delete the game.

What's the deal with it crashing ALL the time??!!! I've had to uninstall it and reinstall numerous times and still have problems!! I obviously like it and play it everyday or I wouldn't waste so much time on the dumb thing!! PLEASE FIX IT!!! I don't buy stuff with real cash because I can't afford to waste money on a game. But I still enjoy it and have gotten a pretty good ways in it without spending money so I'm glad for that!

Fun but.. they give you the ability to win stars to upgrade the diners looks but in order to win a star you almost always have to use an item. Otherwise you're forced to play a stage multiple times to get enough stars to upgrade one thing. Very tedious and repetitive and the gameplay doesn't change or get dynamic enough to help my interest in the game long enough to play that much just for an item upgrade. Fun but tedious, play if you just want something repetitive to distract yourself.

I like the game but... It's a nice game to pass the time if you have a few minutes to spare. But, they reward you for completing tasks, as most games like this do. However, those rewards randomly disappear. I have had at one time 20+ gems saved up to buy upgrades, only to log in the next time and only have 5 left, when I know I didn't use them. And this happens quite frequently. If they fixed it, it would be much better.

while the game is fun and addicting the problem lies with the MANY MANY microtransactions in this game. you need groceries to play a level, coins to upgrade equipment, diamonds to upgrade equipment, keys to buy better decor, and even more coins to level up the patrons. I have never seen so many different types of in game currency in one game. it's very very money hungry and ridiculous. in game currency is a must obviously but you cant proceed past a certain point without spending. uninstalled.

This game has FIVE forms of currency, so it really pushes the micro-transactions. The coins and stars are the only ones that make sense since they are needed for upgrades and progression. But there are also groceries which limit how often you can play. Gems which are needed IN ADDITION to coins to upgrade things. And keys used for cosmetic items. If I could pay like $10 one time and get the full game, I'd probably do it. Micro-transactions are BS.

Tons of ongoing issues in this game, like how it will sometimes freeze or crash when you select the "watch an ad and get more time" option (and lose everything you accomplished on that level), or how they keep changing the way things work (whether boosts are automatic, or task order). And some of the gestures are impossible to master. But the worst thing is the way the queue arranges orders is inconsistent from venue to venue (some will stack, others won't, screwing your timer).

Came back to this game after several months away. Now I remember why I stopped. It constantly crashes. I can have perfect WiFi signal and it keeps restarting itself. Switch to data and have good signal. Still happens. Try a different game and have no issues. Restart the app over and over and it doesn't help. Basically, the game is un-playable on Android.

It's your typical click this go here restaurant game, however it relies so heavily on microtransactions that it makes the game unbeatable. Like it takes 14s seconds to "cook" an item, and when you are on a timer that is only one minute it adds up quick. You can upgrade your items, but when it is hard or takes a while to acquire gems it turns into a waiting game, and in turn make me forget about the game.

I really, really wanted to love this. It WAS great,at first. Then, sadly, became damn near impossible on level 3. Driven by a Paywall- boosts, gems, etc. The concept is awesome, the graphics nice, the storyline (which I usually don't care about) interesting, has nifty customer development. However, became like all mobile games are now-unbeatable levels fairly early on. While the P2W deals are reasonable, I just don't want to get involved in yet another game I've got to spend money on-especially on L3.

Freezes. All the time. If you play a level it freezes afterwards. You can do a bunch of things before doing the level though. Contacted CS they told me to disconnect wifi and do a couple things. Still doesn't work. I told them, never got a reply back. They have a dedicated page on FAQ for this issue for apple phones (however I am on android). If this is such a frequent problem, then fix it! I am an avid diner dash fan for PC not sure it continues on phone.

I enjoy playing the game, but I've already spent well over $20 for gems and what not to be able to advance to the next levels. Stuck on ch 3 level 1 because the "goons" are messing with the connection? Because of this, it forces me to RESTART the level, thus depleting my boosts I've earned and paid for! After restarting the game 4 times, I've had enough. Very shady. Uninstalling now.

This game is lots of fun, but i hve two complaints: 1) in a lot of places, it seems like a pay-to-play game when resources strt running out and levels are near impossible to beat without them. 2) the game is SUPER laggy, and it's slowed my whole phone down. I really enjoy the game, but if it keeps messing up my phone like a virus, I won't be playing anymore.

3/26/23 not worth it if you have to continuously be connected to the internet for anything to work, play, or download. The power ups are used automatically whether you want them to be or not. When the ads are optional for necessary game play rewards you shouldn't force them as well. 12/7/21: Freezes up a lot. Crashes when it tries to load anything. Can't play a level without it crashing and losing all my progress. Don't download.

I've had this game on my phone for 4 years now, and while I enjoy playing, it's not as fun as it used to be. The main storyline hasn't been worked on in well over a year. All we've gotten is the monthly events, which are remarkably tedious and redundant. Not to mention each event forces you to go through a tutorial on how it works with no option to skip it. And obtaining currency to progress in general is a pain. I'm uninstalling for now in hopes that things will improve in the future.

I just wanted to play Diner Dash. I enjoyed playing it as a kid on my dad's desktop computer. But this game is ridiculous. Tons of additional offers and events constantly popping up. And on timed levels, even if you win, you don't always get to finish out the level by clearing the diner. I don't hate the part where you earn stars to fix up the town, but I really just wanted to play the diner game. They made it too complicated.

It's a nice little game but I decided to uninstall it. Boosters are automatically chosen and if not noticed, to be able to uncheck the box, they are used uneccesarily. I lost 2 in a row, tried to exit game once I noticed but it was too late. It's very uncommon for boosters to be checked for you so I forgot, again, lost another one. So, cute game but that ended it for me (infuriated me tbh). Less stress is always best! It IS a cute game though!

Came back to play this game after a while. Reinstalled it after a solid year or so. Aaand some of the experiences seem off. Eg. Bricks and Bites Store had S'mores Ice Cream Pie but no image - this has never happened before. The storyline the game followed and the sequence it had does not seem to be the same. Feels like I'm jumping between different restaurants: good way to explore them but not sure how it ties to the story or the characters anymore.

I loved the classic diner dash game that came out for PC back in the early 2000s. I wanted this to be like that. In some ways it is. However the downside to this game for me is all the other stuff. Too many other places to play, you don't always get a ton of play time since it cost "energy" essentially to play a round. To upgrade anything for the most part you need gems and it isnt the easiest thing to get without paying real money for. I'd be down to pay if it was 1 time and to just play.

I've been playing since the beginning. Unfortunately things changed when EA Games came in. No large story mode, you have to pay for extras in the monthly special restaurant/hotel (I don't pay and still enjoy it), costumes are really expensive, they started repurposing things....BUT, I am happy the game still exists because there isn't one out there close to this. With the story modes it still has, details, different monthly celebrations, things to collect and do it truly is a great little game.
