Excellent way to learn how to play the card game. The tutorial is broken up into parts and takes maybe 5 minutes total to complete. Once you complete the tutorial it also allows you to play with 3 half size starter decks so you can try out different playstyles.

It's a good tutorial app for learning the basics, and a really good framework for a potential future full app which I hope Bandai plans to do sometime down the line. That being said, it's very limited and you can only choose between 3 half-decks and a set opponent AI half-deck to play against. I hope that Bandai seriously considers making a full-fledged Digimon TCG app to play online with like most other TCGs have.

I'd give it a 5 if the controls were a bit more intuitive. For some reason it feels like if I don't use the option cards in one exact pixel on my screen they don't get played. Only other complaint is that this is a tutorial of the "DIGIMON" card game I mean it's in the name. Other than that 10/10 No new complaints, it's still a great way to understand the game, but meramom on deletion effect didn't proc. Drastically affects gameplan. Plz fix

It was pretty fun, I like the structure of the app and all, but I wish it had more to it then just this. Yes I know it is a tutorial app, but seeing how playing in person can be difficult for some, an app like this would as a full game would be amazing. P.S an update in ruling would be needed for new players because of the upcoming sets that going to released.

It definitely shows the mechanics of playing the card game, what would be really cool is they updated the app when a different deck comes out that isn't your typical standard but like a Hybrid deck or stuff like rainbow cards also. The cherry on top would be to make it a full game and not just a tutorial, play with other players around the world that also enjoy it.

Does a pretty fair job of teaching how to play the upcoming Digimon TCG. I think it's great the devs went the extra step to have some presentation and animations to make it more fun. That being said, I wish it also featured more options for practice after all the turtorials. Looking forward to seeing if this ever gets developed further into a full-fledged Digimon digital TCG app!

Pretty good way to teach the game. Everything is clear, readable, and intuitive. If they made an actual mobile game for the TCG(and if Bandai hit the breaks on the crazy fast powercreep) it would be huge.

Very sad we only get a tutorial. Considering it's a card game about digital monsters, that can only be played physically when a digital client would make far more sense. With the upcoming Pokemon TCG Pocket I Digimon TCG on mobile would be a no-brainer to snag some of that popularity. Especially since the game itself has better mechanics and pacing than Pokemon. I'll never buy the physical cards because there's nobody in my area that plays, but I'd sink time and cash into an app version.

I get that you updated the game to show off newer cards and mechanics, but did you really need to eliminate the previous 3 battles? (Red, blue and yellow decks). Decks were simpler and more beginner friendly IMO, you could have just added the 2 new ones amd actually have more content with a total of 5 battles

Great little tutorial app as a brief introduction to the new Digimon Card Game. Hoping this can be expanded on, at least for the next three starter decks coming out in a couple months, but would like more for sure. Something like Pokémon TCG Online would be absolutely fantastic, even though this game is still in its infancy. With the physical card game being difficult to find, at least from what I've seen, and I certainly have searched, an online alternative could go a long way.

Great little app to teach the game! Only half-decks, but at least you get to play unscripted matches vs. AI as many times as you want. It's definitely enough to get a good grasp of the game flow. Thanks to Bandai, for bringing this over to English regions. Now we only need a full version in which we can play online and earn/purchase cards & packs! ;)

Very good tutorial, no issues. I've loved Digimon since I was a kid but I was always more of a Pokemon kid, so I collected the cards and played the games. While I loved Digimon there was no real way for me to enjoy it outside of the show, except for the little Digivice that came out in the early 2000's. Until I was at my semi-local card shop that said they didn't really play Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon TCG but they play Digimon TCG every night. I was like huh? That exists? So I downloaded this to learn.

With an intuitive UI, great sound effects, and 3 starter decks to try, it's an excellent tutorial app. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to try out the flow of the upcoming Digimon TCG, or even just to clarify the nitty gritty rules. As a side note, hold on a card to zoom in on the text. It's not mentioned but obviously helpful when playing on a device with less space.

Major digimon fan and love the new version of the card game. Only reason this isn't 5 stars is because it's limited to a handful of tutorial battles. I'd love to see this turned into a fully functional card game app. Maybe like a story mode to play against more ai decks, the ability to make your own deck, and maybe even play against friend. That'd be so cool 😎

Good for learning basics, terrible UI. Can't see card effects when you click on them, no in-battle settings to restart a match (need to force quit and reopen app), can't check anything on the opponents side. I get this is a tutorial but those small things can help new players learn a bit more about the game's mechanics other than just 'play card Unga bunga attack'.

Please make this a full game. It was really fun learning the mechanics of the game and I would love to be able to construct a full deck with my favorite Digimon to play against others. The digital format for TCG and ccg games allow for new players to experience the game without investing money into something that that may end up not being something they like.

Fun game. Please add the other 3 color half decks. Also let us choose the deck we want to use and the one we want to battle against after the tutorial is complete. I originally was looking for an online version of the game. But since there isn't I went out hunting for cards, habe gone back to card shops to play with people, and have had a lot of fun with the overall experience. Even if an online version of the game comes out I'm going to continue buying the physical cards.

It's a cool card game that borrows aspects from hearthstone, magic, yugioh, and pokemon while providing it's own mechanics too. It has a wonderful back and forth with lots of safeguards in place that keep you from being hit with an one turn knockout. So it's super balanced if a bit rudimentary right now. I really want to play the physical version but nowhere nearby sells them and buying them online is hard (structure decks were all bought out by scalpers, the same issue they have with their digital pet toy line). I hope this leads to a fully featured digital version of the card game, it's honestly a super weird business decision to release the game amidst a pandemic and not have a digital version running. Only issues with this app is that there isn't a way for me to inspect and read zoomed or enlarged versions of the cards. Also it needs to be more than just a tutorial, let me buy boosters and decks, let me build my own deck and play against people online!

I've been trying to find Digimon cards locally and have had no luck finding starter decks or booster packs. I saw that there was a tutorial app on the Play Store, and was excited to give the game a try. The app holds your hand pretty well in terms of teaching you how to play the game. It features the 3 original starter decks you can purchase (if you're lucky) in real life, and you can only play against AI. Despite how basic it is, it served its purpose, and I found myself playing many more times after I had completed the tutorial. It would be cool if they add future starter decks, or create an entire web client similar to MTG, Pokemon, or YGO. Overall I love the game, and hope I can play in real life soon!

My only complaint is that this is only a tutorial, not a full game. I really hope they release the full card game digitally, especially since the physical card game is impossible to find in stores right now. If anyone behind the app is reading this, please make a full version, I'll buy digital cards if the ability to play online is included. It wouldn't make any sense not too, this app is great at teaching the game and feels good to use, the framework for a full game is there. Make it happen!
