As a small business owner, this has all of the features I need, including event duplication for repeat customers, visual easy click date picking, etc. But recent changes to location entry/finding makes this app useless to me because it doesn't begin looking for valid addresses in Google Maps during input. Sometimes residential customers give you addresses differently than what they're listed in Maps and therefore may not get to the right location for the job.

UPDATED FROM 4 STARS! The last number of years (I started with the 2014 version) have generated excellent improvements. The user interface is quite friendly, and the paid version allows for near-unlimited customization: well worth the price. If you are a busy student, executive, or just have a lot on your plate this app is a perfect way to keep on track.

Aesthetically pleasing layout and color scheme. Lots of options and features. My only complaint is that I have 4 accounts on my device; 2 personal and 2 for work. I was hoping to use this app specifically as a work calendar, but upon installing the app, it IMMEDIATELY synced the calendars from all my accounts and I was unable to remove them from the calendar's view. Very annoying. I was only able to unsync the unwanted calendars, but this was after the initial sync, which meant the information was still there. I browsed all around the app for a "remove account" feature, but found none. Nor did I find a way to remove the unwanted calendars from the app. I had to uninstall the app and find another app to do what I wanted. Developer - for further explanation, feel free to reach out and I will further explain. But as it stands the app is not usable for me.

I love this calendar app and have been using it for years. It has everything I need and is very customizable. The only criticism I have is that if I have multiple events on the same day in the Text Month view it is difficult to tap on individual items without tapping something else by mistake. I wish it had a full day pop-up, just like the Samsung calendar. Then it would be perfect! I had made the suggestion a long time ago to the developers but nothing yet. Still a great app!!

By far THE best free calendar app out there! It has literally everything I need: multiple options for day view, monthly view, all quickly accessable via touchscreen, color coding of events to easily differentiate them from one another at a glance, a format that makes your events easily readable, features today allow you to set events quickly a and easily, ability to quickly turn off and on syncing with Google Calendar--and no ads in the free version! I cannot rate this app highly enough! It has been an organizing GODSEND!!! If you get only one organizing app, trust me, make it this one!

Absolutely love this app! It keeps me so organized especially with the different colors for different events!! The only thing I don't like about it is whenever I get a new phone, it backs up all my events and transfers it. But it only puts it in one color. I have my calender very organized by color so when I switch to a new phone I hate that it doesn't transfer all of my event colors, I have to go through and redo it. Please change that. Besides that, I love this app!

Adding, and copying and pasting events is a breeze. I am very happy with its good options for recurring events. The widgets are useful and attractive. But I have had to downgrade from 5 to 2 stars because it has started multiplying my calendar entries, so I get repetitions and even triple copies of events. The designer replied with ideas, but I have not been able to solve the problem.

The new gadget to enter times while creating new events within the app are so much worse than the previous ones, it was a huge downgrade to the UI. The analog clock style input was very easy, and the current time entrance tool requires many more presses and steps making entering a new event in the app much harder.

My preferred calendar app - I started with the free version and was very happy with it. As I began to add family calendars to it, I realized buying the Digical Key would be helpful. This app is essential to organizing a busy life, allowing sharing with chosen people (either individual events or certain categories/ calendars). I hope I never have to find another app!

I love the variety of calendars they offer (various cultural holidays, sports, TV channels, finance, and some astronomical ones), the wide variety of colors available for the app's theme, the different views of your calendar available, and the events are so easy to change. I can also choose which calendars to display on the widget & I can give it any color combo I want 😊 A lot of the features are only available with premium, but it is super affordable at less than $4/*year*! Thank you, DigiCal!

I love this app. It's the only calendar I've used for years. And when there is a hiccup you actually get a response, a fix or easy instructions on how to fix it. For real! It is one of 3 apps that actually helps you. I love the different views, color coding & being I'm about as computer/smart phone illiterate as a rock even I think it's easy to use. Thank you for your on-going support, DigiCal. You don't let me miss a thing.😊

2024 Update: Had to purchase twice on the same account. Tried to follow suggestions on faq to make original digi+ premium work and it kept failing each time. Gave up and ended up buying again when a discount was offered. Still my go to calander, I feel like the re-buy was worth it given that I use it daily. Sad my original purchase wasn't accepted to keep working. Original Review: Best calendar. Great customization, easy UI, integration, and adaptability to multiple types of devices. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love the see thru home screen App. I can't forget what's right in front of my face. And diff colors for diff appts is great for quick review. I haven't worked a lot with the reminders. It seems like they are brief and it is too easy to just clear the screen annoyance before I really read what it is telling me tho. I might suggest using a half screen or 1/3 screen for the alarm reminder... ?

I got this as an alternative to Google calendar and have been very happy with it. It includes little features like being able to jump to a specific date and being able to make reminders for any amount of time/days before an event. The weather feature is nice as a quick reference, but I prefer to have a little more detail than can be adequately shown on a calendar since I work outdoors.

Nearly flawless. Everything wrong with Google Calender is better here. It's easier to navigate, prettier, has more options... They offer an actual PURCHASE option for the premium version, but the app is perfectly functional without that purchase. The premium version simply offers a few more customization options. There are subscriptions available, but they're for holidays or extended weather. Those subscriptions are also very cheap. Less than $6 per YEAR as of this review. Excellent app

April 29, 2024 - This app is sewage. March 16, 2024: Still receiving notifications for past events several days after their scheduled dates. Moreover, when editing events, they still display in HTML format. This marks my final attempt to contact the developer, and I tried my best too. This app is no longer functional. The developer is unresponsive & doesn't care.

Absolutely love this app. It's the only way I can look at a month view and "scroll down"to see all of the events. The only issue I'm having is that it doesn't automatically refresh. I find that I have to manually refresh my Google calendar app before it refreshed digical. It's slightly annoying - but not an absolute deal breaker for me to continue using it.

I got this app because my cozi app was having issues. Now my notifications come as scheduled. I no longer miss appointments. I paid for the upgrade, but I don't know if that's a one time fee or a subscription. Would have been nice to know, but time will tell. I like that I can customize it, colors, fonts, etc. I also like the ease of creating reoccurring events, of which I have many.

Needs updates: Auto switch light/dark mode, adaptive widgets, remove header entirely from widget (instead of it moving to the side), more customization over the in-app colors. Cannot hide all day events in widgets. This app is old and desperately needs some work. Used to be awesome but is just so outdated.

DigiCal has been a excellent app! It's easy to type in a lot of information. For example, if I have a appointment, I can enter a company's name to show on the calendar, then I can enter the location and Google Maps steps in for directions if needed. I can set as many reminders I may need. It's easy to not miss birthdays because a birthday can be scheduled a year ahead. Very easy to use.
