I have closed any and every single thing on my phone and have optimal wifi yet the game continues to freeze and glitch which is causing me to lose lives. As I am aware you can pay to remove ads, I am almost certain this is a developer tactic to get you to purchase from the game. It is either that or the game itself is in extreme need of bug fixes. My phone has not and does not lag EVER. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. This HAD been one of my favorite games a while back before updates. Fix it!

Loved this game at first. Now all it does is freeze up and lag and makes my phone freeze up as well. To the point where I can't even shut it off or restart it for at least 2 mins. The deeper you go the worse it gets. Bugs need to be fixed. 1/9/19 Did the update. I used to be able to play for hours yes hours. Now I'm stuck waiting for lives to refill if I return home right after I complete the task. WTH..I should have never updated. 2/2/19 Now I'm stuck waiting for new quests that are coming soon

It's a good game, and the basic gameplay is fun. A few of the extra add-ins are unnecessary, but it's not too bad. My only big complaint is some of the boss mechanics. I'm on the 2nd vampire boss with the really annoying ghosts who take your blood and heal the boss, and they completely take the fun out of the game. I play this for chill gaming and to pass time, not to stress myself out and get frustrated over an enemy constantly chasing me. But aside from that, it's pretty good!

Once a great game. Then they updated the graphics and jacked up the cost of power-ups by 3000% (not exaggerating). Now it appears there are more obstacles than dirt squares making it next to impossible to play without a steady stream of real $$. I liked it better when dev team was content with $2-5 per month. Now it appears they want $10-25 which is too expensive for me.

Game was okay. Cut scenes were annoying but bearable. Unless ads are overwhelming I understand developers need to make money. But a few weeks ago the app started loading slow and occasionally crashing. I downloaded the "update" and ever since it loads 3/4 and then crashes. Every time. All the developer feedback says the update was supposed to fix this but it's done the opposite and they don't seem to acknowledge that so I guess they're not working on it, so I guess it's time to delete. 🤷🏼

Extremely slow start even after a microtransaction or two. The game lies about "any purchase will remove ads" the controls are not very optimized for touch screen use as you will sometimes move back and forth a bit when trying to move. This will kill you often. I had to pay for lives twice on the very first mission, because of that issue. Instant death is way too harsh, when everything moves as fast as your character. Good idea, poor execution and money scheme. Uninstalled.

A fairly good game with fun progression and tactics. At higher levels the game is more about watching ads than gameplay. Despite having lots of useful optional ads, the game also peppers you with extremely invasive, full-screen timed ads after you die sometimes, which ruins the experience a lot. I would probably keep the game on my phone for a while if not for that, but after just 5 hours of play its gotten in the way so many times I keep considering uninstalling.

The update made this a horrible game. It was addicting and had a great user experience. now....well...I can't undecided if I should uninstall it or not. I was so loving collecting the characters before the changes...now that has been made 99 percent harder. I am crying for the game it was. Graphics may be the same. Which were good. But it is hard to tell because the new interface seems worse as well as some of the art. REVIEW UPDATE*** I have heard that the limited lives was added to make the game more interesting and challenging. It fails at being more interesting. It does succeed at being more challenging....it challenges you to quite the game or pay for more lives. Lives used to be unlimited. If you died you could watch videos to continue or choose to restart. Now you cant even watch videos to continue without loosing one of three lives.

I am very bad at this game, but that's not the game's fault. EDIT 7/22/19 I take it back, the game keeps acting like I've run into snakes when there's nothing there, & the controls stop responding when I'm headed towards spikes/trying to avoid blocks. (The latter's been an issue from the start, not just w/this update.) Even fully reverses my direction. It's either poor design on the controls or a deliberate attempt to make me spend gold, but either way it's very annoying and I'd like it fixed.

very fun and cute puzzle game excellent soundtrack. id give this 5 out of 5 except for two things: 1) too many ads. and if you try to skip them you might get closed out of the game. you will lose any free to try miner, which is an unnecessary shame. and 2) cant skip the cut scenes. i dont need to sit through those for the story. i dont want to. just let me play the game! control those damn ads!!!

Deleting this game. Im at level 143, so ive been playing awhile now. The new version is fantastic when compared to the last one. Now you can save your progress as you go. Now, you can earn and save more than one key, where as before you could only get 1 key per life. The problem is the control, the character moves in any direction it wants at times, usually when next to an enemy or spikes. I did not get a new phone nor did i crack my screen. So if nothing changed on my end, what did on yours???

Limited lives? Checkpoints? Ads everywhere? More real money requirements than the human brain can keep up with? Massively disappointed. I used to play this game years back, (back when it was actually fun). Could have played it for hours before these incredibly awful new updates happened. It was fun, it was simple, it was a great time-killer that didn't require focus or investment. Now it's just vying for your money at every turn, and too complicated to keep up with. Bring back the old version.

Lives system is busted and keeps you from enjoying the game fully. The quick bar for abilities is located on the left side of the screen and eats into the area where the D-Pad would be. Too many ads causes me to feel like the developer really *needs* your money. I've recently noticed the game controls freezing up when I'm playing and have lost lives because it. I really used to think this was fun and challenging but not anymore.

Really good mini game and time waster. Great for car or plane trips. I haven't seen the bottom yet though... 🤔 ***UPDATE REVIEW: *** 16 Dec 18 this was one of my favorite games up until they added a 3 life system that limits your playing. If they really want to add something, add a map of the underground, or more underground quest, or special tools and friends underground as you make your way down. Even a second or third door that lets you skip down futher if you pay coins... i don't know. But stopping game play is a good way to stop people from playing the game completely. IMHO

I've been paying this game regularly for almost three years. Now all of a sudden I have to have lives to start a dig? B.S.! They keep changing the game play and half of the new things I still have no idea what they are. I hate the new game play. I loved the mini games where we had to find the evil king's heart but now even that is gone. It was great until the most recent update. If it goes back to the last version with added mini game, it would be the best puzzle adventure app out there

It's too easy to die, you don't get enough gold, and it costs too much to continue. 750 first continue, then 1,000, 1,750. The monsters move way too fast, they're almost impossible to kill when they can move around. In higher levels, there's too much going on to think about where your next move will be, without getting killed by falling rocks, bombers, monsters, anti gravity devices, zapper guns, TNT boxes, other falling boxes, that turn into random items, including monsters. It's all too much.

I have mixed emotions to the latest updates. I played this back where you used the money to upgrade the pickaxes. I do like that there is an interesting storyline with quests to complete but don't like that there are now limited amount of lives which limit how long you're able to play compared to the older version. All in all, this is still a great and fun time killing app.

I love this game until they added the lives. One of the best things about this game, is that you got to Tool around on it and look for and Explorer things, without worrying about not being able to play if you ran into a bad guy and died. Now, with the life feature, I can no longer Explore because if I do I am likely going to be killed within a few minutes, lose all my progress, and then have to use my coins to purchase more lives. The game now has too much of a focus to complete tasks instead of just being able to play the game leisurely

I loved this game until the recent "update." They changed the icon to make it seem like it was a legitimate update when all the only real difference is now, you only get 3 lives before you have to pay. I'm a level 100 and I JUST paid to have the ads removed because I liked the game enough to play it even when there weren't any quests to do but now I wish I hadn't because I'm not going to pay for lives too. It's easier to just find another game. Also, for story sake, the quests need work. Having to level twice so a hippie can get a chair is kinda lame. Make it something a little more helpful or make it take longer to level.

The game has seen a lot of change since I last played, and most is good, but not all. The controls haven't improved any, and the difficulty has escalated a fair bit. And this game was challenging to begin with. It wasn't such a problem when all you lost was progress, but the way things are set up now, you also lose a life (which regenerate way too slow) and everything you've mined since the last checkpoint (completely unfair). As a whole, the update has done more harm than good.
